My husband and I love Dr. Ho. He did cataract surgery on my husband that went beautifully. He was patient, explained everything carefully to be sure that we understood exactly what would happen. My husband is 75 and is thrilled at his renewed sight. I am a diabetic, and Dr. Ho has worked with me for a few years now to stabilize the pressure in my eyes as a preventative to glaucoma. He has gotten the pressure down to normal! We love him and can't imagine a better ophthalmologist anywhere!

Just had LASIK done by Dr. Corwin at Marietta Eye Clinic. I am so happy. Can see 20/20. He did a really good job explaining what was going to happen and what I should expect. Usually I am really nervous going to the doctor but the laser went great. Couldn't believe when he said it was over. These guys are professionals. My Mom had her cataract surgery there and told me if I went anywhere else to have LASIK she would break my neck. OK Mom, you were right.

The eye doctors that deal with the kids are great. There is a separate waiting room for the child patients. My daughter had to go there on more than one occasion for eye pain when she was elementary school age. Every doctor that dealt with her then really knew good ways to deal with the kids.
On the other hand, the eye doctors and specialists for adults, while very knowledgable, don't all have a good bedside manner. Whether you are a senior citizen or not, if something is threatening your vision that can't be corrected simply by changing your glasses prescription, you need the doctor to talk with you sympathetically in terms that you understand. At least one specialist here speaks in such clinical and unemotional terms, that you know she knows her stuff, but you have no clue what she said. And it can be kind of frightening at that point. So, I would say this place is great for kids, but so-so for adults.
PROS: knowledgeable, easy parking, easy to find
CONS: some doctors seriously lacking bedside manner
