This place can be hit or miss depending on who you are. You'll definitely get friendlier service if you actually know the people behind the bar. And sometimes this place can be a little too snooty for it's own good. But since I've caught myself here so many times, I guess everyone should give it a try once.

The Manhattan has been completely unspoiled by fame. Still a great place to hang out with the grad student and town crowd; no two drinks will ever be served in the same glass. Truly unique.

What I love about this place is that very few people know about its charm. Hidden away on Hull street, it has its share of eclectic furniture and knick knacks. It also has a very bohemian vibe and is a frequent hot spot for graduate students. This is definitely a place to go for a drink with your colleagues after a long day of academic pursuits.
