Snapfinger Creek Animal Clinic is Great

by Gina H.

I LOVE Snapfinger Creek Animal Clinic I have a very small dog (4 lbs) who she becomes very ill when she gets her yearly shots. Last August we moved from Florida and needed a vet, Snapfinger came highly recommended. Our shots were due and I expressed my concern, along with prior records, and Dr. Ellington kept my baby all day (free of charge) to make sure she didn't have any reactions. That spoke volumes to me!!! Not only did they keep her all day, they called me twice to tell me she was okay. They were extremely nice and informative. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Martha S.

by Martha S.

We have used Dr. Ellington and his staff for over 30 years with our various pets. He has always been so kind and caring and kowledgable for every problem we have incurred.

I cannot magine having to take our pets to "strangers," but we did have to do so recently in an emergency. However, I am still a loyal client of Snapfinger and will be so as long as we have pets in our home. Thank you Dr. Ellington and all the staff there for being such caring and professional people.

Kind and Knowledgeable Care

by JoAnn Starr M.

In 1979 my beloved 13 year old pet poodle was diagnosed with diabetes. At that time no one around my area knew how to treat her and I was referred to Dr. Ellington. For over a year we made three trips a week (50 miles round trip) for him to monitor her progress. When it was time to let her go, he was so compassionate and comforting to us. She had three pups that all lived to be 13 to 14 years old and each of them developed illnesses during their last years that were difficult to manage. Dr. Ellington was our choice to care for these "family members" and he eventually had to help each one reach the "Rainbow Bridge". I have thought of him often over the past 25 years and decided to Google the clinic and I am so glad to see that he is still helping animals to receive the best possible care. Thank you Dr. Ellington - you made a lasting impression on my family and we have fond and grateful memories of the kindness you displayed and the professionalism you gave to Josie, Gidget, Boots and Boui. God bless you and your family and your staff.

Loving care for animals

by Sara W. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,738

Don't be deceived by the outside of the Snapfinger Animal Clinic - it may not look imposing, but inside are people who genuinely love and care for animals. Dr. Ellington is the veterinarian and owner of the clinic and his love for animals is evident from the first moment he cradles your furry friend in his arms. More than once I've called him in an emergency and he's always calm and reassuring, and has gotten my pets back to health. His assistant Martha always explains any prescriptions or special instructions, and frequently after an illness someone will call to check on the invalid pet. The clinic also offers boarding services for both short- and long-term stays. The parking lot can be tricky, though. It's tiny and at peak times it can be difficult to manuever.
