Way overpriced, rediculous portions, terrible food, poor service. Go anywhere else and get a better meal at a third of the price. The prices are absurd. I would never throw my money out like this again.

I agree with the other reviews and I wish I would have read them before I decide to go to Eno's. Listen to the reviews I just visted Eno's last weekend and the food was marginal at best and WAY overpriced. The service was slow and they do think there are pretty special. My wife and I left this place and went out to a bar to get some food because we where starving. The portions where rediculous. I left there feeling like I was just robbed.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. A co-worker of mine ventured over to this shabby establishment recently in hopes of using a gift card, which had been presented to him last year at our holiday party (held at Eno) when a waiter spilled an entire glass of red wine on his shirt, and then failed to apologize. The new owner/management of this restaurant refused to honor the gift card ($50 mind you. Really? They're that hard pressed for funds?) stating that they wouldnt take on the previous owner's debt, and after an argument threatened to throw my co-workers out. Poor treatment + Poor Service + Your standard quasi-trendy restaurant with crappy food = imminent failure. Just read the recent reviews. No one from our firm will return here, and we suggest all others to boycott as well.

This place was terribly dissapointing and didnt even qualify as mediocre. I was excited to go there due to the chef being on Top Chef. I have literally never written a restaurant review but this place was so awful that for the first time in my life i felt compelled to. The porkchop was undercooked and 100% fat - you couldnt even cut it or eat it. The service was awful as well as we sat for 20 minutes with empty wine glasses. To top it off I felt like i had been robbed because it was such an expensive and horrible meal. I beg you please do not go here!

Eno sports a lavish menu of great Italian cuisine. Their wine list is simply to die for. While some of the menu items are a bit on the pricey side, they are absolutely wonderful.

Being new to town, my hubby and I just wandered up the street from our apartment to grab something to eat last weekend. We stumbled upon a mostly empty Mediterranian restaurant, with a inseresting sounding menu and went for it. Service really wasn't that prompt for a empty establishment. Food was very "iffy" In my opinon a chef needs to master the basics before going all out. Evil Kanevil didn't go straight for the grand canyon right off the bat... And he sure couldn't charge ubsurd prices if he crashed and burned!
This place needs to really focus on the basics before we wander back in the doors.

Pros: great location, good for theater goers

Cons: poor service, pretentious overpriced food

I have visited this restaurant several times to eat dessert and buy fine wines from their cellar. My boyfriend and I have always wanted to try their restaurant and finally we decided to go before a show at the Fox theatre one night. Disappointed isn't even a strong enough word for how upset we were when we left. The hostess was unpleasant from the moment we walked in the door. We sat with empty glasses for more than 10 minutes to be acknowledged by a server which we never were even though several walked by our table. Finally the front house manager came over and took our drink orders. He was the same person that took our food orders and brought everything to us. They completely forgot to bring our appetizer. The food was overpriced and not good at all. Then we waited another 10 minutes for our check. When my boyfriend went to get the general manager to request the check, finally a server, who we never saw during our entire meal brought our check. She was rude and not apologetic at all. In fact, no one ever apologized for the delays even though they knew we were on a tight schedule to get to the theatre. And this is a restaurant that caters to the theatre going cliental. We were extremely upset when we left. We have eaten at a great deal of restaurants in Atlanta, but we have never had such a bad experience as we did at Eno. We will never recommend this restaurant to anyone we know. I am even willing to say we will never buy another bottle of wine from their store again based on our recent experience.

Pros: wine

Cons: everything else

We live in the same neighborhood as ENO and have visited at least three times. Each visit was excellent - the selection of Spanish wines is one of the best in the city. We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at ENO one week ago with over 40 guests. The food was excellent; both the vegetarian and meat options were good from appetizers though the dessert. The staff could not have been more helpful and treated each and every one of our guests as a VIP. The GM went the extra mile and even offered to match flowers on the table to the wedding flowers for the weekend. Our guests commented that it was one of the nicest group dinners they'd attended. We will definitely continue to visit ENO.

We chose Eno to celebrate my birthday last night. We started the evening off with a bottle of Rose Champagne and enjoyed it at the bar. We also ordered a glass each for our first course. Knowing they specialize in wine service, we brought a special bottle of wine to celebrate. The treatment we received was shocking. Not only did the waiter claim there were no red wine glasses--he pointed out that the owner was using them for a private party in the wine room. No red wine glasses at a restaurant claiming to focus on wine? What we received was something resembling a Riesling glass. From that point on the waiter refused to pour our wine. When we brought this to the attention of the General Manager, he became confrontational stating we received adequate stemware and refused to waive our corkage fee on a $500 tab. To top it off they added a gratuity of 20%. They could have handled this differently. Instead it ruined our evening. We'll never grace their door again.

Cons: Don't understand wine service. GM treated us horribly.

PASTA should be HOT people, not lukewarm. And staff?, lose the attitude, sorry if you think you are above waiting on my & my Mom, but YOU choose to be a waiter and we both were waitresses and wouldn't have dreamed of treating customers the way we were treated. First, we were seated very promptly..good. About 20 minutes goes by. Nada.. FINALLY our waiter shows up and pretty much let us know he wasn't interested in waiting on us. Swell. We each ordered cappellini & shrimp, and iced tea. Waiter disappears. Waited for about 45 minutes, dishes & drinks finally come out. Waiter plunks them down in front of us and strolls away. It was immediately apparent that the plates had sat for some time..the pasta was lukewarm and starting to dry at the very edges. Waiter saunters back about 40 minutes later, puts the check on the table, and stands there. Um, ok. We pay the bill...with EXACT change I might add. Still peeved about our experience with this place and its been 3 months. NEVER again.

Pros: Lovely ambience

Cons: Wait Staff, couldn't handle two women, can't imagine how bad a large group would be

Almost everywhere you turn in Atlanta, there is a new wine/tapas bar. The local chain of McGrape, is a good place for beginners and tourists. But for the more sophisticated palate, Eno is where it's at. Several years ago, when we first started going, it was just a small wine bar, with a great selection. And Midtown has grown, and Eno has evolved into the premiere Wine/Tapas destination. Expenisve, yes! Unique, yes! It's not for everyone, but for us Atlantan's who have matured also, it is still the place. Candlelit and cozy, artwork by Timothy Tew Galleries, and outside tables to watch the Midtown Mile. The Mediterranean Tapas menu, with suggested wine pairings, is upscale and unique. We usually just stick with the small plates. A good start is the Pan Seared Foie Gras w/Brioche French Toast. Another favorite is the Five Spice Braised Beef Short Ribs w/Orange Glazed Carrots. Also love the Housemade Lamb Sausage w/Granny Smith Risotto. Desert menu sounds great, but usually we stick with a cheeseplate selection, from the Barrelman next door. Service can be a bit snobbish at times, but after a few glasses of wine, who cares with Tapas and drink of this calibre.

Pros: Atlanta's Best Upscale Wine/Tapas Bar!

Cons: Expensive, But You Get What You Pay For! Parking Is Tight!

Loved: Risotto with corn and shrimp (~$12); Desserts were fabulous: Chocolate torte and canoli with lemon cream (both ~$8)

Other dishes ordered: Flat wide linguine with sausage, spinach, onions, garlic ($18) great but homemade sausage was very dry

Wine: Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc ($9 Glass)

Notes: Food was good, but not amazing, and it was overpriced, in my opinion (including the wine).

My Bill: $66.18 total bill including one entree, one appetizer, 2 desserts, and one glass of wine (none split).

Had not been to Eno in a while and went Saturday evening. The wine list is very well done. They were out of our first selection which we were a bit disappointed, but our server was quick to recommend a slightly higher priced wine that was great (although I feel they should have done it at the same price as our original selection). The service is definitely fine dinning which is nice for a special weekend night out. Overall we thought the food was excellent, but small portions and high prices. The ceasar was whole leaf which I love and wrapped in a parmigan basket, the lamb chops were prefectly cooked seared in olive oil and rosemary. I would definitely recommend for a nice night out, but be prepared for a big tab and you won't have to worry about over eating.

Eno proved a great disappointment both in terms of food and service. The final insult was the waiter's handwritten gratuity on the check - he gave himself a full 20% in his own handwriting. Any chance we had of saying anything complimentary about this restaurant evaporated with this act.

We had one of the best experiences we have had at a restaurant in a long time the other night at Eno. There were 4 of us and all appetizers, main courses, and desserts were fabulous. Our waiter was very friendly and courteous. We had eaten there one time before and had a very unpleasant, pompous snooty and obnoxious waiter. Because of him we almost didn't go back but decided to give it another try. We are glad we did.

I don't know if the snooty waiter is still there or not.

There heating/cooling system was a little eratic but after a little wine we didn't really notice it. Otherwise it was perfect.

We will go back.

Just returned from my second visit to Eno. The first, about a year ago, was great. Today was very poor. The food was not great, was served cold, one person at our table received their food several minutes after the rest of us. We had to ask for cheese, were never offered pepper. Our waiter dripped water into a plate while filling a water glass. The service was unprofessional yet snooty. I will not return.

This was one of the worst restaurants I have ever eaten in, and too top it off I payed an outragous ammount of money for it! The wait staff was terrible, and for wait staff they sure did have an uppity attitude!! The portions were small but I guess this is good when the food taste bad. The wine list is not all that great either, and they don't serve white zin., or blush, or sweet tea. This place ruined my husband's and my entire evening. This is where personalities go to die!! Even the other patrons looked miserable. I would reccomend ENO's to anyone interested in punishing themselves, otherwise go some where the food is worth the price and you will be treated with respect.

I went to Eno last night and had one of the worst meals I have ever had. We had the pasta and it had absolutely no flavor. The salad was decent but small and overpriced. In addition, the waiter was very moody and not very helpful. No one even asked if we like our food. I think he could tell we were disappointed. The sauce was the worst I have ever had.

Last time I dined there was last March. I took my date to have a great meal and wine. Wine was pleasant, we had bottle of Conundrum and ordered two appetizers and two entrees. My entree was pasta and the worst I ever had. Couldnt finish it. Absolutely no taste. My date had fish and she said it was OK. (I think she was trying not to complain) We both disliked the appetizers though. Our server was good and but looked very bored. It was a Friday night and at 8:00PM there were three tables. Not to mention homeless people kept bothering us while eating. When I think of how much we paid and what we got in return, I feel used and robbed. In such a great location ENO should do better job. Otherwise in addition to Sunday and Monday they will have to close more days. No return.

Wow, I really felt like I was in Ny. The food was great and the service was very kind. I am not much of a wine drinker, but the server told us about some great wines. My group of girls decided to go to eno last friday and we had a great time. The Red Snapper is Amazing!!! Over all the place is in a great location, has tons of windows, food is amazing, and the service "I could not ask for better".

I honestly can't understand these bad reviews. We love fine dining, and have done so over extensive travels and let me tell you: Eno's is lovely. It's comfortable and cleanly designed, & the servers are professional without being snooty. I had originally only tried Eno's as it is so close to the Fox (these reviews had almost scared us off!). But it was all worry for nothing. I have spent more for just an "ok" lunch at Longhorn's! The food was fabulous, imaginative without be ornate, reasonably priced, great wine, all types of people were there enjoying themselves immensely.

WEll, I decided to take my girlfriend for dinner. The restaurant was empty on a friday night (8pm). THat was a hint obviously!!!!
THe food was really not terrible for the price, portions were really little, not to mention the cheese plate (crumble of cheese@@).
THe wine is really good, with a very extensive wine list, however well too pricy. Will never recommend.
THe owner is also very pretentious.

A great little spot with valet parking. The food is semi-inspired but typical of the upscale Atlanta dining scene. The best thing it has going for it is the interesting wines and the ability to have them by the glass. There is a set of sparklers chilling on the bar for individual orders and the wine list has many from far off places with names not often heard of. Intriguing! I can't comment on the service as I ordered my food to take out but they did accomodate me and the food was tasty but a bit expensive for the smallish portions. I would recommend going for appetizers and a good wine quaff but maybe elsewhere for dinner.

I got stuck in the rain and decided to go in for afternoon dessert. The dessert was wonderful...not too sweet and it had TONS of fresh organic blueberries. The bartender was very friendly and recommended a great dessert wine. I'll definately be going back for dinner sometime soon!

Pros: outdoor seating, good wine, nice staff

Cons: hard to park

.

A cool rissotto, a raw and tasteless duck and a chicken that I could have cooked better, were among the many bad things we experienced that night in exchange for a very expensive check.
The menu and the long and complete list of wines may attract you, but don't fall for that. Have a glass of wine in the bar and leave!!

Pros: List of wines, Nice bar

Cons: Expensive, Horrible food, Bad service

Pretty place, food fair, wine list extensive but pricey for wines for everyday. Not really a wine bar but a restuarant wanting to be both. Service was good but I felt waiter trying to suggest expensive wines rather than a more moderate priced wine. I have been to wine bars around the country and Atlanta, Eno is more restuarant than wine. If you want to spend a lot of money for wine and food go there. Not for me.

My friend and I decided to try Eno for a cocktail after work. I ordered a premium martini - it came with two olives. I asked the waiter for 2 more, which he returned with promptly.

When we got the bill I noticed a charge of $1.00 for the extra olives. I was shocked! Never have I ever been charged for "extra" olives...anywhere. These were just your garden variety pimento-stuffed olives. Good thing I didn't order lemon with my water. Shame I'll never find out if the food is any good. We won't be going back.
