Love...love...love... I LOVE this place. It is very fun, and they have a great menu. I absolutely love the boil and eat shrimp. It has inspired me to make it at home. Though mine isn't as good, but what can you do when you live 500 miles away? But everytime I go to Augusta, I have to go to Rhineharts, it is a tradition now!!!

I've been to quite a few oyster bars, but this one is not all it's made out to be. I went with some friends on more than one occasion and it's the same every time, average at best. The wait is always too long, staff is pre-occupied with other tables (they do try, i'll giv'em that), food is alright but nothing to brag about and it's very overpriced in my opinion. I've been to places where you can get a bucket of oysters, cheaper than you can get the amount they seem to count out for every plate at this place. I guess for it being the only oyster bar in town it'll have to do. Not somewhere I would make it point to go or recommend unfortunately.

Pros: Pretty good locations

Cons: average food and staff

Rhinehart's projects itself as a relaxing place to enjoy great seafood. I can get past all the writing on the wall with markers/crayons etc.., but the place was dirty. The smell (and I am not talking about the seafood, I grew up on the coast), the sticky picnic tables you sit at in the restaurant, and the "stare down" you receive from the "regulars" who were are sitting on one side of the bar in order to scope out whoever walks in, it's just a bit too nasty/creepy. The crab legs were over cooked (seemed like they were boiled and not steamed - very hard to get get out of the shell), the jambalaya was very dry and food is WAY overpriced. Save your money and your time and pass on this place.

Pros: I have the freedom not to eat there again

Cons: Dirty / Nasty

This restaurant is very down to earth. If you want to experience a night out on the town, this is a great place to eat. You can come as you are and eat some great seafood. I would recommend wearing sneakers when it rains because the floor will be wet and can be a little slippery.

Absolutely the best place to eat oysters in GA!!! My family always go there even if my dad just goes and eats alone while me and my mom are shopping. Very laid back style there and casual dress preferred. AA++
