I Highly recomend All Animals Veterinary Hospital to anyone that wants superb care for their pets. I was very worried about my dog Lucy when I took her to Dr. Holton. Dr Holton did bloodwork and xrays and found that Lucy had a heart issue. He put her on medication and Lucy is so much better now. Lucy and I both are very thankful we found Dr Holton and his staff.

Although seemingly friendly, this crew is pretty much behind the times when it comes to pet care. When I asked about some pretty common premium dog food brands (the kind you can purchase from any PetCo. or Petsmart) the doctor and nurse looked and me like I was an alien, and said that they didn't know and had never heard of them.
The reason I asked was because we had taken our allergy suffering dog there three times, and one overnight stay, only for him to come back to us heavily drugged, and NO BETTER. I heard that it may just be the dog food we were giving him, might have reactions to wheats, glutens or grains but wanted the vet to give us recommendations and confirmation of his condition.
our previous vet had given him a single steroid shot when his skin flared up a few years back, and thats all it took to leave him well and painless for months. we told these guys about it, but, almost like bad mechanics they didn't do it so we'd keep coming back. our vet bill was OUTRAGEOUS, and after some internet research we put our poor boy on natural balance dog food, only for everything to clear up.
The last time we went was the scariest. Hank was in horrible condition, but because of my work schedule I had to drop him off there for a few hours while they checked him out. they said he probably wouldn't have to stay overnight or anything, but if he did, it would be a $50 or so fee. when I called before I left work, they said he would ABSOLUTELY have to stay overnight to have a vet close at hand, and the fee would be waived. when I picked him up the next morning, he was no better and looked loaded! drugged up and still suffering. AND, I had a list of little fees that no one told me about. One of them, was a wet can of science diet they charged me $6 for that when I got home found out was opened, and had one spoonfull taken out of it. How do I know when it was used? Was it used for him? I wasn't aware of this fee, I could get a can of that for $1.50 from the store. and aren't you supposed to always feed a dog the same food? I could have dropped off a can of his stuff that night for him, I live 5 minutes away. When I walked in they seemed WAY overly friendly (I should know I've been taking my two dogs there sporadically since before they moved the clinic) and the whole staff came out to check me out of the clinic? I have a strong inclination that they may have accidentally over administered a medication or screwed up something else and did not tell me about it.
I really hope that's all in my head, but regardless, I wouldn't trust them with my animals there in the slightest.

I moved to Dawsonville from Florida 3 years ago and was looking for a friendly vet to take care of my animals. The friendly staff has always taken care of my pets with the up-most care and compassion. They follow up with me after every visit just to check on my pet and see how they are doing. If you are looking for a staff that treats your pet like they are their own then go to All Animals! I highly recommend Dr. Holton, Dr.Donovan and the whole All Animals family!Bert

I have taken all my animals to Dr. Holton for the last 8 years. Everytime I call the office the girls at the front desk are so helpful and understanding. At every visit from the mininute I come through the door til I leave after my appt.. no matter the circumstances I am always treated with understanding and respect by all staff members. When I walk in the door they call me by name and know my pets name, that's important and shows me they care about my pet. Dr. Holton has alway taken the time to answer all my questions and puts my concerns at ease. Next time you need a Doctor for your pet I highly recommend All Animals Veterinary Hospital.
