Been seeing Kelley for over ten years - and in fact she did hair for my wedding 7 years ago - she is most talented, very caring and attentive - as are all of the stylists at Panache. Take a moment and walk in and buy some hair products or get your hair done - you won't regret it!

WI've been getting my hair done at Panache since 1987, when I moved to Atlanta. Since 1990, I've gotten my "cut and color" with Kelly every month. She combines several colors to create my special color, which has changed through the years. When she cuts my hair, it stays good for the full 4 weeks, even though my hair is fairly short. Gotta love that!hat made it unique or special?

I just visited Panache for the first time, and Erica was my stylist. She went above and beyond what I have experienced in the U.S. from other salons. It was as if she had come straight over from Japan (where I've had my most favorite experiences in a salon). She listened to what I wanted for my style and color, and did exactly that. But here is where she went beyond my expectations...she gave me the most amazing scalp massage of my life! Incredible!!! And while I was in the chair, I really felt beautiful! Not just from what she did with my hair, which was amazing, but she listened to me with genuine concern, and pointed out some wonderful things inside myself. Thank you, Erica!

My wife and I moved to the area a couple of years ago and I was looking for a sylist in the Morningside or Virginia Highlands area and found Panache Hair Studio. Let me just say, I'm very particular for a guy on how I like my hair to look and Panache got it right the first time. I'll definitely be going back to Panache as long as I live in the Morningside area. Highly recommended.

Tammi knows her stuff when it comes to color and cuts. I have been going to her for 2 years now and love every time I go. I am asian and have dark hair so in the summer months I have light high lights and in the winter monts I go with low lights. My color is always great and never weird. I moved here from out of state and is always hard to know who to go to, so glad to have her in my life. Thanks Tammi for always doing a great job!

I have always been a guy that would try to find the cheapest hair cut in town. For years I would go to Great Clips or Super Cuts. Sometimes I would even cut my own hair to try and save a dollar. This is until recently when my roommate referred me to Panache. I was skeptical at first because he told me that they charged 25 dollars for a cut. This is about 10 dollars more than I have ever paid in my life. Last Saturday my roommate convinced me to go up there with him to get my hair cut. Long story short, I am now a firm believer in "you get what you pay for." I had a stylist named Allie and it was the best hair cut I have ever received in my life. I have some crazy things going on with my hair and she was able to cut it so that it was almost identical to the picture that I showed her from one of their magazines. It looks like Great Clips and Super Cuts lost a customer over the weekend.

I have been getting my hair cut for the past year at Panache. I am normally a last minute customer, so I just walk in when I am in the area. They usually always have someone available to cut my hair without long waits. I think I have seen everyone there and everyone has done a fantastic job on my hair. I have never done color to my hair until a month ago and now I am obsessed because of all of the compliments that I get at work. I will diffently be sending all my friends.

I find this salon to be just right. I have been going to Panache hair Studio for over a year now and it is just what I like about a salon. I have the same stylist for my haircut and that same stylist does my color as well. I always felt that this is the way it should be and Panache feels this way also. My stylist can color my hair to make the most of my haircut. She knows exactly what the outcome should be as she is doing both. I have noticed all of the stylists there and they do very nice work. Several Emory prof. and CDC scientists go there so the conversations can be very interesting. If you are looking for a new hair Salon Panache Hair Studio might fit the bill.

This hair salon appealed to me because it was small with just six stylists and very friendly. It reminds me of the pleasant feel of a community salon. I always get a great haircut at Panache and the prices are a bargain for the Virgina Highland Emory area. I have seen alot of people getting color there. It is amazing to see how nice some of these people look upon leaving Panache. When they arrived they did not stand out but when they left they looked great!! If you want to go to a low profile nice place then Panache might be your salon. I love my stylist there

So disappointed in Panache. Went there for 3+ years. I called to schedule my next haircut and was told that my stylest Amber "retired" to spend more time with her baby boy. This didn't make sense to me, so I made a few calls and found that Amber had moved to another salon only a mile away in Virginia Highlands.

I get that it's a business, I get that you don't want to lose customers. Maybe if they'd told me what happened and offered me a discount to see a new stylist I would have CONSIDERED it (not really, I love Amber) but I can't respect or recommend a business that misrepresents the facts like that and shows such a complete lack of integrity.

Panache is a great place for an Emory student to get a haircut because they will do a terrific job. I have often gone without an appointment. They have always given me an excellent haircut and the price of 28 dollars for the works is a bargain. Other hair salons in the area are much more and the work is not as good. My girlfriend goes to Panache as well. She gets color and Highlights and everyone is always asking her where she gets her hair done. If you looking for a new Hair Salon to go to, try Panache Hair Studio! You will not be disappointed.

As a student at Emory, I needed to find a new salon to get my hair cut. My mother actually owns a salon back in my hometown, so I usually waited until I traveled back home to get a free haircut. Halfway through college, I finally decided to try out Panache (wasn't traveling home as often.)

Let me tell you that Panache is so good that I rarely get a haircut back at my mom's own salon! As a male, I'm not too picky about my hair, but it's very easy to mess up given the type of hairdo I usually have. Amber gets it right every time and I always have a great time talking to her while she cuts my hair.

The atmosphere is great and the staff is extremely friendly. For any incoming Emory students looking for a great haircut, don't be lured in by "Best Cuts" in Emory Village. Make an appointment at Panache (especially Amber)!

I had a haircut and red highlights by Allie, and it was the best hair cut/style that I have EVER had. I cant tell you how many compliments I have gotten--at work, family, boyfriend and perfect strangers! I will definitely be back to see Allie. I have had my hair cut at Panache several times, and they always do a nice job, but Allie was phenomenal!

After reading the review looking Ten years younger after a hair makeover at Panache, I decided to make an appointment and see If Panache could do the same for me. My appointment with Susie began on time and she really did a nice job cutting my hair. A great haircut really does seem to take years off of your face. Maybe they can do the same for my body. All kidding aside, I would recommend Panache as a good choice. Susie was happy, and very upbeat. She made me laugh and the highlights she did were very helpful in making my hair appear fuller and reflect light better. I will defiantly go back to this Salon. Hello Atlanta,
I recently visited Panache and had a very good experience. Amber was my stylist. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had extensive discussions about the style and look I was going for. She put it to me straight and even had the guts to tell me that a particular aspect that I liked about my hair was no good for me because of my round face. I'm sure that wasn?t easy to say. The point is you will get an honest assessment and answer. She followed that up with an excellent haircut. After she finished cutting my hair, she took time to point out what she had done and what to expect to achieve the look I was going for as I need to grow my hair out in certain areas. The prices were reasonable. There were available slots. All in all a good experience for me. I rated it 4 stars. I reserve my 5th star for instances where people go above and beyond the call of duty, like a foot massage or giving me some free product or something. :-). I just don't give a 5 star grade out very often. This is a good establishment.

My daughter suggested we go to Panache Hair Studio near her University to get a hair makeover. I certainly needed it. My dull brown hair was overgrown and made me feel middle aged frumpy. Susie cut my hair into a layered bob with lots of what she called shattered edges. It looks great! She took my drab color and created a much more attractive look with highlights and lolites. She combined a carmel color and date color. The result was very nice. I have been so happy with this new look. It has really pulled me together, and I feel years younger. I am always having people ask, Who did your hair? I will add that she also did a great job on my daughter, but she is young and cute so that was much easier. I will make a special trip to go back to Panache and have her do my hair. Thankyou!!!

I came here after leaving a high priced salon in downtown Decatur. Very happy with hair, but I am not happy about the signs regarding tipping on a credit card. This may turn into a deal-breaker for me.
I should not be required to tip in cash......... Does that mean no tip if I have no cash and yes I am aware of an ATM next door.............

I moved to Atlanta form Michigan and was looking for a salon. I read the reviews posted here and decided to give Panache a try. I was not disapointed. The salon was cute, affordably priced and my stylist Amber was fantastic! I have been coloring my hair blonde for years, but Amber took me from squash yellow to a beautiful champagne blonde and added low lights for contrast and to make it look more natural.

I have never looked so good. She really knows color and took the time to explain to me why I needed to change the color (because of my skin tone) . I was really nervous, but it looks great. Between the new color and updated cut I feel like a new woman! If you are looking for a new stylist, I highly recommend Amber at Panache. I have been back 3 times now and every time is as good as the first.

The first time I went to Panache was because of the great ratings I read here on citysearch! I had an appt with Song. I had previously gone to Greatclips every time I needed a haircut- but finally got tired of getting crappy uneven trims. Song sat me down, and gave me the opportunity to tell her exactly what I wanted. I'd never had a fancy hairstyle before- not even layers. I told Song I wanted tapered sideswept bangs, and lots of layers. Let me tell you, Song did her magic, and my hair looked like a million bucks! With a 20% tip, the wash, cut, and straighten cost me $sixty-nine. I'd never payed so much for a hair cut, but it was absolutely worth it. I got SO many compliments, everyone said I should always have layers from then on.
I went back for the second time last weekend. I saw Song again, and once again she didn't let me down. She even recommended a great product for my hair- my scalp tends to get a little dry, and the Aveda spray she gave me works wonders. It's been a week and I'm flake free already!
My only complaint is that this time, the wash, cut and straighten with a 20% tip cost me $81. (I had to go back and buy the product the next day being that I was completely out of cash). Why would the price have gone up so much for the EXACT same services? I'm now wondering if Song took the liberty of tacking her tip onto my bill- in which case I would be livid, as I always tip 20% if it is deserved (Song deserves it!)... if this is the case she got a sweet 40% tip out of me. When she told me how much I owed her it was $68- sort of odd that the 1st time I went the bill WITH tip was $sixty-nine... I think I got ripped off.

Next time (I'll give them one more shot) I am going to ask for a complete run down on how much each service will cost (shampoo, cut, straighten).

The great reviews got me to make a appointment at Panache. The owner Susie really helped me out. I have thinning hair due to a thyroid disorder and she gave me all sorts of tips to help my hair. She even knew about supplements! The highlite and haircut were so perfect for my hair and face. I felt so attractive leaving the salon.I have received tons of compliments and would recomend them to anyone who wants a nice unpretenous place to have their done.

The first time I went I did not have a great experience, but when I was there I say a stylist doing someone elses color and I liked what she did, so I requested her when I called to come in the next time. Great experience. Random pricing though. The first time I got a highlight/lowlight and it was $95. The second time I just got a highlight and it was $110, but worth it. Just make sure you ask about pricing.

Okay,
So I'm not quite the guy that goes nuts for a haircut. It wasn't until I turned 30 that it even occured to me that getting it done by a professional could be a good idea. Panache is the kind of place that guys like me love. Despite it's semi-pretentious name, the folks working there are laidback, thoughtful and funny. I'm always in and out in half an hour, looking way better than when I came in. My stylist is always friendly, always in a good mood, able to talk about almost anything on my mind - and really, what more does a guy want?

I should mention that besides myself, my wife and daughter go here, and they love it too. I should also mention that once when I needed an "emergency" haircut (I was traveling to multiple important meetings the next week) my styist met me BEFORE the store opened on a Saturday morning. You can't BUY that level of service.

So, some free advice. If you're a younger guy - get smart. A real haircut does make a difference, and if you think people don't notice you're wrong.

If you've already caught on to the "power" of a good haircut, than check out Panache. You'll be glad you did.

My hair looks the best that it has in years thanks to a great haircut and color a Panache. I am a Emory professor and had not done much with my hair for years. I went to Panache upon urging from my friends who go there. I am so thankful that I took their advice. What a difference a nice haircut and style make. The group of stylists there were so helpful. They gave me several tips on how to style my hair quickly so that the maintance is very small. It is surprising how much younger I look with color and and a current haircut. Thanks again . I have mixed feelings about writing this review. I've never written a negative review for a hair salon before, but...On the one hand, the owner of the salon, Susie, did not charge me for what was the worst haircut of my life. On the other hand, I left the salon with the worst haircut of my life. I went to Song initially based on all the reviews here. I have very thin hair, so I asked her for something that would make my hair look fuller but I didn't want an ordinary bob. Though I didn't bring a photo, I thought I explained to her generally what I wanted. When she was finished, she gave me a very short bob that appeared misshapen. When I complained that the bangs were not what I wanted, she chopped them off quickly (they are now shooting out of my forehead) and seemed generally unapologetic. I asked to have another stylist "fix" this nightmare and they gave me Susie, who was very nice but couldn't seem to make it work. She did show me the wonders of barrettes (um, thanks). Basically, I have to wear headbands and hats for the next year. The salon was basically empty when I arrived and I was told that they used to sell furniture to supplement their income.

This salon really impressed me. All of the stylists Seemed to love working at Panache and seemed to love their work. This is the way it appeared to me at least. Susie took me right away and did a terrific highlite and haircut. My hair never looked as full before or as shinny. I can part it anywhere and the highlites always look great. Susie took my very poor quality hair and made it look like something that I could be proud of. I would highly recommend her and am definitely going back to her. If you want a new place to get your hair done try Panache. They did a great job on my husband as well!!!

I was quite concerned when my former stylist closed her shop. My daughter shops at Kroger and I noticed Panache in November. I walked in and was given an appt. with Song that afternoon. My hair is very thick and wavy and many people have struggled with it. She did highlights and a cut and I really liked it. I was back in a month later and Song did it "her way" and I was amazed. I've just made another appt. with her this week, and even though I live in North Carolina, Song is my stylist from now on. Thanks!

Meghan at Panache is awesome! I have been going to her for a couple of months for a cut and a highlight. The first time I went to her she honestly gave me the best haircut I have ever had! She listens to what I want and she always takes up a lot of time with me. I have very flat hair and she gave me a haircut that makes it feel fuller and look like it has so much more body. She also did a great job on the color. She is seriously the best color stylist I have ever been to. She made it look so natural! Since I have been going to Meghan I have had a ton of compliments on my hair. The salon is so friendly and is located in a very convenient location. I highly recommend Panache hair salon!

I did not know hair place opens on Monday. I drove by Panache and saw the open sign, stopped by to see inside. SONG smiled greatly at me. She could not take me at that moment, but asked me to come back at lunch time. I was so exited to get my hair done on Monday.

She gave me fabulous cut with rich color and beautiful highlight. She also showed me how to style my hair in so many different ways. I never had a great experience like this before. My husband thinks I am 10 times younger.

She is fast and feminine, well experienced hair dresser. Since I have seen SONG my hair stays so nice, it?s perfect all the time. I am lucky to found her. Definitely she is one of the best hair stylists and cute hair salons in town.

We have been going to the owner Susie at Panache for five years now with great results! I love the consistent haircuts and color that my husband and I receive from her. She is fun, gives us stylish haircuts and the prices are always fair. She and her stylists all do very nice work. They really care about their clients. They consult about your hair regardless of how many times you have been there, to see if you want a change or to see how the last cut did. Our daughter goes to college here. Their Sority and boyfriends use Panache Hair Studio. They have been very happy also. We always hear lots of positive comments from the customers when we are there. The review below could not have been true. Susie is always respectful of her clients and we have only seen happy customers there. The hiding part was just not possible . If you have been inside Panache , the layout does not lend itself to hiding. If you are looking for a new Salon, I think you would like Panache and Susie as much as we have. Give her a try.

Amber has been doing my hair for the past year and I am always pleased with my hair style and color. I am one of those people who likes to change my cut and color seasonally . Amber really listens to what I want and she offers great suggestions for my hair type and face shape so I end up with a cut that works well for me and my busy lifestyle. If you're looking for a new salon, you'll love the atmophere and friendly vibe at Panache. I'm really glad I started going there and found Amber!

Today I called Panache to see if all the rave reviews were true. They booked me just two hours in advance and little did I know that I would receive the royal treatment by the owner, Susie. The salon itself felt very comfortable and unintimidating and for once in my long history of ?salon shopping? I already felt like I had come to the right place.

Susie greeted me by name with a big genuine smile and got right down to talking about my hair. I had a lot of questions and ideas and she was absolutely wonderful about discussing every concern I had. She gave me a great new cut that fit my face, the texture of my hair, and my personality and I didn?t have a single doubt the entire time I was in the chair. I have never felt so taken care of or at home with a stylist I had never met before and I will be recommending her to everyone who looks like their hair could use a little boost.

True to the reviews, a male customer came in and sat down with Tammi (another friendly stylist) as I was getting my final touches. I decided to book an appointment for my litle brother (with Meagan) this coming Saturday.

When I asked Susie about product suggestions she handed me a free sample of something I would have paid at least $15 anywhere else. I paid $48 for a cut I would have paid at least $70 for anywhere else. People may get excited by hot trendy salons in Decatur or Virginia Highlands but their services seem criminal next to Panache.

You know you?ve got a good haircut when other customers in the salon are complimenting you before it?s even done. What a great feeling! I walked out with a huge smile on my face and new sense of confidence, not to mention a truly adorable one-of-a-kind haircut by the sweetest stylist in Atlanta.

I LOVE this place - I've been going to Kelly for 15 years...I send my husband there, too, from time to time, and she always trims his boxwood eyebrows without being asked! LOL! She does great things with my long, luxurious brown hair...like keeping it brown. Also, Song does a great job threading eyebrows - I haven't found anyone else that does it (not that I've actually looked, she's always very patient about working me in when I 'm there to see Kelly) - every other place I've had my brows waxed takes about 6-8 layers of skin off in the process, so the threading is wonderful. Anyway, I think it's a great salon all around - Susie has a great ambience about the place, and her stylists are always fun to chat with. I'll probably have them fix me up for my funeral...!

My husband and I tried Panache Hair Studio last weekend. We saw it in the neighborhood and walked in without appointments because it was so cute and approachable. The stylist who spoke to us was so friendly and got us with two different stylist within the 1/2 hour without appointments. Both of us were so happy with the results. My color never looked better and my husbands hair look so nice and thick with the cut they gave him. His hair is thinning but his cut was so flattering that this was not obvious. We both are happy we found this place and will tell our friends. If you are looking for a new salon, try them. We saw lots of color and hi lites being done when we were there.

I have had the worst expierences at Panache! On two seperate occasions I had to return to the salon because of uneven/totally botched haircuts & color (different stylists). The THIRD time it happened I went to a different place and had the guy ask if I tried to cut my hair MYSELF! I was so embarassed!! It is going to take another trip or two back to my new salon for him to fix what Panache failed to do. I have spent well over $150 fixing their mistakes. They are unexpierenced & overpriced.

I went to Suzie at Panache last Saturday. I found Panache on City Search and decided to go there based by the reviews on the site. Suzie is wonderful, so very friendly and talented. . I wanted a new look and she knew exactly what to do with my hair. My biggest hair critic is my Mom and she loved my new cut! The salon is very easy to get too. I live in Lawrenceville so it is a bit of a hike, but I am definitely going back. So very worth it! Jan 9/14/07

SOOO HAPPY TO FIND MEGAN AT PANACHE!!!!
Our Sorority has been going to Megan for 2 years at another salon, but they would not tell us where she had gone. We are so happy to find Megan at Panache. She gives such great haircuts and her color and highlights are the best. Several of the guys we know also go to Megan and love her to. I can see why Megan changed to Panache as the enviroment allows her to be more creative and the stylists all seem so happy there. I have been going to Panache for over three years after having been to two "high end" salons in Buckhead for years. My stylist, Tami, cannot be beat. She has performed her magic on my hair for almost two years, including color and cuts. I have always been extremely satisfied, and appreciative of the friendly and low key atmosphere. How refreshing to be somewhere where the stylists are professional and excellent, but also down to earth and welcoming. Tami keeps me hip and happening!

My neighbor recomended Panache Hair Studio and said she was very happy with Susie, the owner. My boyfriend and I decided to give her a try. I love the cute trendy razor cut she gave me and my boyfriend and I love his haircut too. My girlfriend went to Susie and she has very little fine hair and likes a conseritive look. Susie did a great job with her hair also. It looked much thicker. My girlfriend said it was a product that she suggested. The salon has a pleasent feel and everyone is nice. We are going back.

Classis, funky or anywhere in between, Song has the ability to understand and meet every clients needs. She is talented with wide variety of hair colors. Song believes professional results with easy going attitude. Her goal is to make each and every client look and make them feel great. She is just back from vacation. I am so glad she?s back. Not just me, all of her co-workers are happy to see her back, too. While she was gone, I went to the other salon and they mess my hair up. Here Song comes to rescue my hair and did an awesome job! I must say how extremely happy I was to find Panache. After looking for what seemed like a lifetime, I finally found Kelley at this comfortable, friendly,cute salon. She offered me terrific solutions for my unruly hair. It looks beautiful now, with highlights that flatter my skin tone, and a cut that brought me out of the past and into the now! Thanks Panache, Thank you Kelley
