I started seeing Dr Dyar back in 2010 cause my husband and I were having some difficulties getting pregnant and I needed a new OBGYN. Dr Dyar was friendly and seemed to want to help us. He did a few tests and decided to finally do a laparoscopy to investigate why I was having painful periods and cysts. It was then discovered I had mild endometriosis and both my tubes were blocked. My surgery went well and I thank him for doing the surgery and helping me feel better. Well it still took over a year from the time I had surgery to get pregnant. When we finally did get pregnant, every time I would go to my appointment I would be waiting for it least an hour to be seen only to be seen for only 5 minutes or less. I saw a few other of the doctors, Dr Webb was very short, Dr Steinichen was not very friendly and blew off my birth plan my doula and I had written up. He didn't even read it or listen to what I wanted for my child's birth. I then had to pay more for parking because the appointments took so long. Fast forward to the end of my pregnancy it was Tuesday, February 11, 2014 and my due date was February 12. That Tuesday an ice storm came to Georgia of all places. When I went in for my appointment on that Tuesday my mom came with me so she is a witness to this. Dr Dyar decided before even having a full discussion or even asking to strip my membranes, a day before my due date, in an ice storm for no reason at all. After he stripped my membranes which didn't feel good I felt very violated. No doctor should have any right to violate a pregnant women or anybody for that matter. I was so upset because I had in my birth plan that I didn't want my membranes stripped unless if I had gone to 41 + weeks. Doctors should not be getting away with this and it is so wrong. He then started talking that if I don't go into labor within the next 7 days I'm going to be induced with pitocin!!!! You aren't considered over due til 42 weeks, plus there were no health complications of me and my baby. Later that evening I went into early labor. By Wednesday morning my contractions were getting more intense. We then ha to make a trip on a firetruck to get to an ambulance just to be told by the triage nurses that I'm only a 2. So here my husband and I are stuck at the hospital in the middle of an ice storm can't get back home. I'm walking around the hospital. A couple hours later I went back up to triage only to be told I'm being discharged again. I had to sit in the hallway in public laboring for hours with no privacy. Once my contractions were 2 minutes apart right on top of each other for about 2 hours I went back up to triage only to be told by a nurse I will know when I'm in labor because I won't be able to talk, I'll be screaming and crying, won't be able to move, and the contractions will be 20 times stronger than what they were... I guess according to the nurse I wasn't in labor because I didn't fit that criteria. I then called the on call dr, Dr Webb and told him I had been refused to be checked by the triage nurses. He didn't believe me and I kept telling him that they are refusing. He then called over there for them to check me. When I got up there I was a 5 and was admitted by the time I had gotten to the delivery room I was a almost 8. To that nurse that didn't believe me, not everyone cries, screams, can't walk during labor. Maybe you had that but not me. Back to Dr Dyar now. He had no right to strip my membranes without permission, let alone in an icestorm, and not even my due date. I can not and will not recommend anyone to go here if they are pregnant. They do not care about you and your baby and only want money and have your baby on there time by pushing induction on you.

I have been a patient off and on depending on insurance coverage for ten years. My only pregnancy was through this office. I find the staff to be great and of the four doctors I saw, I would highly recommend Dr. Jimenez and Dr. Dyar. I can't say enough good things about the two of them. The others were inconsistent in their care and just downright rude. Only one is still employed there but I will never see him again after the day he left without seeing me for my scheduled appointment that I arrived in time for. I sat waiting for 2 hours in an exam room before another doctor fit me in. He was dressed for golf at the time!

I stared going to this center last year when I found out I was pregnant. I started seeing Dr. Little and she was great. I also got to see Dr. Webb and Dr. Dyar and I loved them as well. At that point I really didn't care who delivered my son. Dr. Little was ready when it was time, and she was very much a great doctor. I loved my pregnancy and the people that helped me through it. I will be returning there in the future.

WOW! I've always been impressed with the care and attention to my needs from all the doctors at N. Cobb Women's Health! I started out with Dr. Wyantt in early 2004 with our first child. I choose Dr. Wyantt because of his highly regarded referrals. I found the staff to be very helpful and kind throughout my pregnancy and was able to to meet all the doctors within the practice during my term. Dr. Webb was on call the night we delivered our son and we found an instant match of personality. He made the delivery very relaxed and comfortable for both myself and husband. Dr. Dyar was also a pleasure to be seen by. Dr. Jimenez was instrumental in helping us decide our pediatrician. We currently still drive over an hour and a half to be seen at both practices.

Since our first delivery, I have changed my primary Doctor to Dr. Webb as he better suits our youthful lifestyle. I especially enjoy the time Dr. Webb offers after each visit to answer all my questions and concerns. My husband and I have never felt rushed after any visit.

I have nothing negative to say however of Dr. Wyantt. He is a wonderful Doctor and we appreciated his wisdom and knowledge.
Currently we are in the 5th month of working on child #2... We've enjoyed the new staff added since our last visit. Dr. Little, whom we met in our last visit seems to be very approachable and sincere. The offices are clean and orderly as usual and nothing beats the administration staff that greets you at the door. The ultrasound Professional is irreplaceable along with the nurses who assist with the vitals. I'm extremely timid with needles and they have always been patient and kind with me addressing this need.

Overall, Highly impressed and have recommended this practice to everyone of my friends and family! Thanks always~ E.Jetmore

I have been a patient for 15 years now. Dr. Steinechen delivered my daughter. He is now gone. He was not known for a scintillating personality, but I thought he was very competent and felt good in his hands during delivery. Dr. Wyant is my regular doctor. Apparently, I am not the sensitive type since Dr. Wyant's manner has never offended me in the way I have read in comments below. I had a colleague who went there one time, and she was offended right away and never went back. In fairness, I must say that she is QUITE the hypochondriac and doesn't have an ounce of strength. In other words, she needs and wants to be babied by her doctors. I, on the other hand, like someone to talk to me like I have a brain in my head and to provide good medical care. I have always received that at this office.

I won't digress in an attempt to gain credibility, just suffice it to say I am another woman less than thrilled with the service I received here. I felt as though Dr. Wyantt spoke down to me. I found it particularly odd at my first OB appointment that he told me to keep this "little secret" to myself, and scolded me for admitting that I had informed a few close family members of our exciting news. I was not high risk, and there was no reason whatsoever for him to say this to me. My husband found it odd as well. I could list other examples of the uncomfortable nature of the visit, but I won't.

I have heard good things about a could of the other doctors in this group (Little and Jimenez), but I am yet another patient that did not stick around to find out for myself. I am not hard to please and felt that the other Wellstar practice that I switched to was TOPS!

I have been seen at North Cobb Women's Health for almost 10 years. Dr. Webb delivered my son in August 2006 and I am expecting number two in a few weeks. Dr. Dyar is my regular gyn, but I can truly say that any of the doctors in this practice are world class. I, like previous posters, was not a *huge* fan of Dr. Wyant, but felt more than safe in his capable hands had he been on call. The office staff is wonderful, and the nurses are all caring, conversational, and make the entire child-bearing process easier to endure.

I have and will continue to recommend North Cobb Women's Health to anyone looking for quality, top-notch women's care.

Dr. John Wyant is one of the best, if not the best physicians I know. He has been my primary physician since the late 1980s and has provided me with sound, knowledgeable, and up to date medical advice. This is not necessarily the proper forum in which to list everything that Dr. Wyant has done for me in 20+ years, so this review will mainly focus on his character and skill, which is essential to a person when selecting a good physician.

Dr. Wyant has been thoughtful, understanding and empathetic to my needs starting as a younger woman and forward into my pre-menopausal years. He has also been more than understanding in relation to my collegiate career through listening to the problems and stressors associated with my college studies, not only as I sought my B.S. beginning in 1998, but my MA, and most currently, my PH.D., while at the same time providing sound medical advice through these trying times. Moreover, I have gained more useful advice from Dr. Wyant with respect to my concerns about my health and stress in college than my Professors and the clinic at University. Although I have free healthcare at University, I see Dr. Wyant instead since I know and trust his advice and care.

In addition, I must mention that even at these stressful levels, Dr. Wyant talked me into stopping some nasty habits I had and instead put me on a path to a healthier lifestyle, which in turn has me within a inch of earning my Doctorate. Sure, the onus was on me to complete my studies; however, Dr. Wyant has been very instrumental throughout the years in reaching these prestigious goals.

Moreover, in talks with Dr. Wyant, he often referred to his experience and studies which is a good indicator that he takes the time by which to compare and relate to his patients problems, which in turn, is a sign that he truly cares about his patients as individuals and does not judge, but instead uses his experience and insight in order to evaluate the problems at hand.

I have never found Dr. Wyant to be disrespectful and judgmental. If anything, he is the exact polar opposite. One of the earlier posters stated that ??Dr. Wyant takes a little getting accustomed to? which is a valid, truthful statement as one grows and the relationship between Doctor and patient evolves, however, it should be noted that this is true of anyone, not just ones primary physician(s). Patients and Drs. have difficulties; after all, this is a very private relationship. However, I would have to say that when you take the time to know your Dr. as one should always strive to do, then good things are bound to follow throughout the years and beyond, and trust is implicit in this. With this said, experience speaks volumes and a few negative experiences do not make the truth.

Dr. Wyant may have retired from delivering babies (unfortunately, for he was quite skilled) but, thankfully, he is still my ??primary? Dr. and I would be hard pressed to find anyone more qualified. Since I do have 20+ years under my belt as Dr. Wyant??s patient, I believe that I qualify as knowing him quite well. I would be glad to give a referral and more information for anyone who might be interested in utilizing Dr. Wyant??s care and / or are interested in North Cobb Women??s Health overall. Jane (love her, she was once Dr. Wyant's nurse and still works there and still asks how I am when she sees me) and the staff are excellent to work with. I fervently thank Dr. Wyant, his staff and all of the people that work at North Cobb Women's Health.

Now that Dr. Wyantt has retired, perhaps this would be an OK practice to you. There was a very honest review about Dr. Wyantt down below that has now been removed...odd. Dr. Wyantt is rude at best and very old school. Not only is Dr. Wyantt disrespectful and judgemental, but also provided me with very unsound medical advice. I switch practices and was very very pleased with the care I received at Kennestone OBGYN. Interestingly enough, the physician that I switched to confirmed for me that the advice I received was off the wall.

I started going to this practice after a horrible experience with a delivery at Northside in Atlanta with another practice. I was ecstatic at the care I received. My son was breech and his umbilical cord was so short that he could not turn. Dr. Jimenez went to triage herself to get the ultrasound machine and was so personable and caring. NCWH completely exceeded my expectations. I then had to have 2 other c-sections after that one both delivered by Dr. Dyar who I absolutely love love love! He has always been super sweet, considerate, and informative even though I had been through it a few times. My husband also really liked Dr. Dyar as well. He is an all around excellent doctor. The entire office staff is awesome as well. They always remember you and your family when you come in and I cannot say enough about the receptionist Charlotte. She knows everyone by name and can tell you about all 6 of my boys and was excited each time I had an ultrasound hoping to see a little girl in the mix.I give this practice 5 stars and highly recommend them.

I have been going to this practice for 13 years and love this practice. I see Dr.Dyar and he delivered my third baby, saving both of our lives in the process. Without his quick thinking and expertise, I would not have survived that delivery, and neither would have my adorable daughter. Thank you!!! I highly recommend them!

Dr. Webb is my doctor and I love this practice. They are professional, caring, and exceed every expectation. I had my first child under their care and felt well cared for the whole time. They listened and responded to each of my concerns. Have recommended this practice to many friends and family members and all have been pleased!

I've been going to North Cobb Women's Health for almost 20 years and have been completely satisfied with their service. Dr Steinchen was my doctor until he retired and he delivered my only son 14 years ago. I started going to Dr Jimenez after Dr.Steinichen retired and she is great. In fact, I've heard Dr Steinichen has come back to work part-time, but I am still staying with Dr. Jimenez -- I really enjoy having a women OB/GYN. As for some of the other reviews, I also saw Dr Webb when I was pregnant and he was great -- he was also with me at the hospital when I was pregnant (as I was in labor over 14 hours, I got to see several doctors during that time - but luckily my own doctor delivered my son). I saw some of the reviews were fairly hard on Dr Wyatt, and he was the only one I wasn't really thrilled with. He was VERY vocal about weight gain with pregnancy and pretty much yelled at me for being 5lbs over the target weight gain. After speaking to a couple of friends who went to that practice as well, apparently he did this to everyone. But that was really my only complaint. I saw him at the hospital as well, and it was fine. Bottomline, NCWH is a great facility that I would recommend.

I have been a patient here a long time and I am so fed up with this practice! Dr.Dyer especially....Dr. Dyer was very insensitive towards my needs. His bedside manner was terrible .He delivered my son and he was not compassionate and caring what so ever, infact he wanted to get out of there asap.I do not know who told him if he got a degree to practice as an OBGYN he would become God.Maybe all of these good reviews went to his head!My experience with him was not so good! This man is so hard to talk to.I recommend finding someone with a little more heart.

Dr.Dyar delivered my son this June and I was very pleased with how everything went. He was very supportive throughout the entire labor and my decision on going natural. He is a great doctor.

I have not seen Dr.Wyantt so I can??t comment about him but I have seen Dr.Webb, Dr.Little, and Dr.Steinechen and I am satisfied with all of them. Dr.Steinechen performed circumcision on my son using plasti bell and that went great as well. My son had no problem with it.

All of the staff at this place is very friendly and kind. I am definitely going to continue on using this practice as my OB/GYN and Dr.Dyar as my main doctor. I would highly recommend North Cobb Women??s Health to anyone looking for a great OB/GYN.

I have been a patient of Dr. Webb for over 20 years, he is fabulous. I read the previous post and it sounds like there was either a mis communication or Dr. Webb like the rest of human nature was preoccupied at the time. If you think you are perfect, then you find your perfect doctor, of which there are none. But Dr. Webb is the best there is for ob/gyn. If it was one little mishap like this that would make me post a bad recommendation, then I would think twice about the person making the post.

Dr. Webb is human just like the rest of society who has problems and concerns but, as for a doctor he is the best there is and he genuinely cares about his patients. one bad day should not be posted for a bad recommendation. AS I stated I have been a patient for over 20 years and would not consider going to anyone else.

I've been seeing Dr. Webb for 6 years and up until recently I've been very pleased with him. The past few times I've been in I feel like he's not even the slightest bit interested. It's in my file (family history) that my mother had breast cancer and during the middle of my exam (the MIDDLE) he says "so how's your mother?" and I said "um...she's passed away" and he says "good, good". So I got dressed and met him in his office. The nurse gave him a scolding in the hall and he apologized to me. Why would you ask a patient a question during an exam and not listen to the answer?
I'm switching to Dr. Dyar.

I've been going to this practice for over 20 years now. Dr. Steinechen (retired) delivered my daughter and she now also uses this practice. Over the years I have seen all of the practice doctors and they are all wonderful - kind, caring, knowledgeable. I was treated for everything from dysmenorrehea, ectopic pregnancy, obstetrics, hysterectomy and even a little depression and they were great no matter what stage of life I was in or what the problems were. They take a whole health approach. As someone else said - I go out of my way to drive to their office. I would not concern myself with what appear to be one-sided rantings and ravings of a high maintenance patient who did not care for her doctor's advice.

Dr. Wyant takes a little getting accustomed to his bedside manner but he definitely knows what he is doing. I had fertility issues and he was excellent. He delivered both of my children. Dr. Wyant is professional and I do not question his knowledge. My daughter was born with the cord around her neck. He acted quickly and saved my child plus I believe that he has completed a little bit more medical training that I have. I would recommend this practice. All of the reviews of Dr. Dyar are correct. I have seen him many times during my pregnancies and he was always very compassionate and has a great bedside manner.

I started going to Dr. Dyar about 3-4 years ago, and I have been nothing but impressed!

The office is very thorough and detailed. I really like the fact that he invites you into his office to discuss your exam and see if you have any questions. It's so much more comfortable to talk there then when you are in the middle of your exam!

When I first started seeing him, I lived in Kennesaw and the drive wasn't far at all. Now I live in Hoschton, and I still see him every year. His patient care is definitely worth the drive!

I have been going to this practice for several years. I experienced 2 miscarriages and Dr. Dyar was so supportive through both of them. I am happy to say the 3rd pregnancy was the charm and I am having a girl in about 3 weeks. I am due Nov. 8th and Dr. Dyar is my biggest cheerleader!!! Whenever I have concerns he listens and if it is after hours calls back promptly. I pray with all my heart he is available to deliver my baby when she is ready. My sister-in-law has a 3 year old that was delivered at Northside and she kept questioning WHY I was having my baby at Kennestone. I told her I didn't think there was anything wrong with Kennestone and no matter what I would not leave Dr. Dyar. She is know expecting her 2nd child in Feb. and is now a patient here with Dr. Dyar and loves him. Image that!!!!

ALL of the docs in this practice are terrific. I have been going there for care for almost 20 years. Dr. Webb delivered my sister (now 19). Dr. Jimenez delivered my 1st child. She is so sweet and kind. Dr. Dyar and Dr. Wyant delivered my second child (scheduled c-section). I thought they were great through the entire procedure. I saw Dr. Wyant when I had a kidney stone while pregnant and I thought that the care he provided at that time was top notch. Dr. Dyar is my regular gynocologist now. I like that he listens and seems genuinely concerned with my health and well-being. I have recommended this practice to many friends.

I started going to NCWH in 2003, I have had an enjoyable experience with all of the doctors.

I typically see Dr. Jiminez, who I absolutely love!! She is such a sweet person, and she always makes me feel so comfortable. She is willing to spend as much time with you as you need, and she is very professional.

Dr. Webb delivered my son in October of 2005. He was such a gentleman during the entire process. He had perfect bedside manner, and he followed up with me several times at the hospital to make sure everything was ok. I was extremely pleased with his overall job.

During my pregnancy, I had the opportunity to visit all of the doctor's at the office. Yes, Dr. Wyant is a little different, but I have heard very good things about him as well. He is professional, but may do things a little different than one might expect. I can definitely defend him in saying that he is NOT a quack by any means.

Dr. Dyar is also wonderful...and very nice to talk with. He is very thorough and open to all questions you may have.

I also like the fact that at NCWH, you see a doctor everytime...no mid-wives. This was a huge factor for me when I was looking for a new OB/GYN.

The nurses at NCWH are wonderful! They are caring and knowledgeable, and I have enjoyed visitng with each and every one of them.

I can't forget the satff! They all do an awesome job!

I don't plan on leaving NCWH EVER!! I am 100% satisfied with every experience I have had with them.

I moved away from Atlanta 2 years ago and really miss having Dr. Webb as my ob-gyn. I was a patient at this office for 15 years. Dr. Webb was my usual doctor, however, I saw whoever was in if he was not available. The doctor's are compassionate, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Webb delivered my nephew and several friend's babies. I have nothing but great things to say about this practice and am still searching for the same quality, and relationship with an ob-gyn practice in my new city.

North Cobb Women's Health is one of the best practices nationwide. I have lived in 6 different states and by far this office has it together. All the staff..except Dr Wyant have exceptional bedside manner. From the moment you walk in the door till moment you leave you feel at ease because you know you are going to be well taken care of. Dr Dyar has delivered 2 of my children and if I decide to have another child he would be the one I would want to have right there beside me. I to dreaded having Dr Wyant on call when I went into labor. They are the best first class!

Can't imagine the poor reviews regarding some of the doctors in this practice. I have seen them all for the last 8 years - every one was professional and highly caring. Dr. Wyant delivered both of my kids, and all of the doctors there were just wonderful (when you are pregnant, all of the doctors see you). I would recommend this practice highly.

I agree with the other's poor opinions of Dr. Wyant, but I have been nothing but pleased with the quality of care I've received from Dr. Dyar. He delivered my daughter, and I found him to have a wonderful bedside manner. He was very open and non-judgemental of my decision to decline the epidural, and educated me on all of my options & their safety.

I went through two pregnancies with this practice and was extremely pleased with both outcomes. I LOVE Dr. Dyar and Dr. Little (who only recently joined). They both have wonderful bedside manners and are very supportive during labor.

However, I was on pins and needles before going into labor with my first child because I was scared to death that Dr. Wyant would be on-call. I despised him during office visits, felt like he treated me with little respect, and felt like he had no faith in my ability to deliver naturally (both of my births were completed without epidural anesthesia--so there, Dr. Wyant). I can honestly say that I was ecstatic when we found out he was retiring from delivering babies.

I would highly recommend this practice, but would caution women against Dr. Wyant.

I was shocked to see only one review and even more so to see it was so shockingly awful. My husband and I went to see Dr. Wyant eight years ago and have been extremely happy with the results. He informed us of all of our pregnancies (5). All at 3 (three) weeks along and one at 6 (six) weeks along. So he is more than capable of diagnosing a pregnancy before 8 (eight) weeks.
He was very sensitive when we lost all but two as well.
We have seen Dr. Wyant, Dr. Webb, Dr. Jiminez, and Dr. Dyar.
They were all beneficial in our pregnancies and we named one of our children after one of the doctors. I hope that says a lot for women who are looking at these physician reviews. Thank you
