Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant

Just moved to Jonesboro. Love this place sooo much! There food is GREAT!! There fried rice with shrimp with sweet and sour chicken! ooowweee...I think I might go there tomorrow!

The person who said it is too large was not at Golden Gate. They do not have three types of cuisine here. I am guessing they were referring to lees golden buddha and momo ya over in Morrow (which also is a great place to eat). Golden Gate is in Forest Park. The food is great, service is super and prices are very reasonable. Not to mention the very generous portions.

I love this restaurant. I have been eating their food for years, ever since I moved out here. They are the only decent chinese restaurant in town. The food is excellent and they give you a ton of it plus the price is fair, especially for lunch. The staff is always really nice to me and I never have to worry about my order getting messed up when I order over the phone. All around A+ service.

This restaurant is very large. Too big. They have a section for Japanese, Korean and Chinese food, which some may feel is good. But if you are looking for a quiet, intimate dinner - this is not the place to visit. You feel as if you are in a factory. The food is not terrible, but not great. It didn't seem fresh. The decor is interesting - very entertaining. Service was good.
