Top Nails

I moved to the area recently and had to find a place to get my mani/pedi. I was looking at going to one the of the spas in the area but noticed all the positive feedback on this site, so I made an appointment for me and my mom when she came to visit. Needless to say, it was amazing. The staff is friendly, the decor is beautiful and comfortable, the prices are reasonable and the results were awesome. Jimmy and Tom did a great job on my manicure and deluxe pedicure. I will definitely be back. In fact, my mom will be making her appointments in advance and making the trek from Alpharetta because it was that good. I am thankful I read all of these helpful reviews.

I have lived in Smyrna since 2004 and have been to other very nice salons but Top Nails is really the best. I usually make an appointment if I want to get my favorite technician, but they are all very good. And Long, the guy / mgr. everyone is referring to, is indeed very cheerful and pleasant, always offering the best customer service anywhere! I think if for whatever reason you have had a negative experience here, you should give it another try. I'm sure if you explained to Long what happened, he will do everything in his power to make it right for you. Top Nails is really tops!

Li did a wonderful job with my nails The staff is friendly and upbeat. Salon is very clean and, Long the manager is outstanding. It is important to them that they are providing the services that you are looking for and they take the time to understand your needs. You are not just another fill to them.

I've been going here every other week for almost two years! If anyone is picky, it's so me! I found Li and that was it for me, no one else touches my nails. She's is extremely sweet and treats me wonderfully, besides I'm a regular, the whole crew knows me by now, even by voice when I call for my appointments. My nails stay looking just as fresh two weeks in! Li is by far the best, hands down and is just so sweet, as is the owner, such a lovely lady. They believe strongly in hiring the best tech's and if they aren't up to par, they don't stay long. One last thing, as for the person who said she wouldn't go because of the prices, like it was said, it was a miscommunication. Either way, you still can't beat the prices for the quality of service they give. Even if I move to Stockbridge, I'll drive to Top Nails on schedule to get my nails done as long as I'm in GA! Love 'em

This nail salon has a friendly staff. Their prices are very competitive. The massage chairs are wonderful and so relaxing while your having your pedicure done. Usually no wait even if you're a walk-in.

I was referred to Lee by a member of my carpool. Her nails always look great. I'm really picky when it comes to my nails so I'm always skeptical even when I see someone with gorgeous nails. Well I definitely wasn't disappointed. Lee got my nails exactly right the 1st try & afterwards she made sure I was satisfied & was willing to correct anything w/o grumbling. Now someone else did my pedicure & I'll be honest, I'll never get a pedicure there again. I broke a nail between fill-ins & went to have it repaired. Lee didn't even want to take money from me for the repair, b/c she's so sweet. I had to leave the money in the chair & run out. If you're looking for quality nails & excellent customer service, go see Lee @ Top Nails!!!!

This nail salon is very clean and very comfortable. The massage chairs are the best. Their prices are very reasonable and there usually is not a long wait if you just walk in. I would recommend them to anyone!

I found this page while googling the salon's number and I just have to respond to "DR." What happened to you was probably a miscommunication. I get american on my hands/feet and they're always $3 each. I doubt that this salon was knowingly mislead you. In my experience, they are VERY honest AND they like feedback. I don't think they were trying to steal $3 from you. Talk to the manager (the guy). I am sure that he will refund your money and be more careful in quoting. Trust me. He is very easy to work with and very discrete. The technician may not have your best interest in mind but from my experiences here, he really try his best to satisfy every single client no matter how much they spend, their ethnicity (personal experience), or how difficult they are. I know mistakes are bound to happen but give them a chance to fix them. Why? Because I REALLY think that they are trying VERY hard to please every person - especially the owner and managers (guy with the funky ties & young girl).

I am Julie and I come to this salon about every 3 weeks on Saturday for almost 2 years now. I have been to every nail shop up and down South Cobb and Top Nails is the best hands down. What keeps me here is the incredible customer service and how they treat me (a white woman married to a black man) as if I was every other client. I have been to salons where I am only important if I spend a lot of money and not make a fuss. They are even racist towards blacks. And if there's a problem then I never know who to talk to because I never feel comfortable with the people in charge. They never seem to be impartial. But at Top Nails, they treat my husband as if he is "white." And I NEVER feel uncomfortable making suggestions or approach the managers and Donna (the owner).

I am not a fanatic. Ha ha ha. Until they re-done the place recently, yeah the salon is very UGLY. :( But now that they have re-done everything I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else. Maybe I am just a fanatic but I really do love coming here.

I also agree with the person below. BETTY gives the best pedicure! She doesn't speak English very well.

Here are the sequence of events:

On the phone, I ask for pricing for the following:
- Manicure & Pedicure combined - quoted was $25,
- French M&P combined --- quoted was $3 more i.e. $28
- usually tip 20% for personal care services - so I thought $35 is going to be my cost.

* I arrived at 4:45PM - they promptly started services. Both technicians Daniel & Rose were good, not great!

* After the service is completed, they charge me $31 -- I'm not concerned about the extra $2 -- but about the change & all the BS story about how the prices were due to increase at the end of the month.

Somebody should have told me that on the phone! So, please be careful if you're getting any $$$ service done here!

I wont go here again & will not recommend it to anyone.

(1) CUSTOMER SERVICE here is something you have to experience for yourself. It's very genuine; not like some other places where it seems like I am greeted off of some pre-written script. That's assuming they have customer service in the first place. I always have fun coming here. The manager (the guy) is ALWAYS smiling. hehehe. I don't know what his deal is, but I like it.

(2) TECHNICAL SERVICE here is top-notch. Take my advice, if you're getting a pedicure ask for Betty or Angela. If you're getting pink&white nails ask for Lee or Mindy. You won't be disappointed. They are almost always booked with appointments.

You wouldn't ever guess a place like this is located inside a Publix Shopping Center. It's way too chic and upscale for its location. I came in for only a polish change and I am amazed by the service I was given, taken into account how little money I spent there. They turned down 3 other clients because they came after me, even though they were asking for big ticket items. I have been turned away and rushed out at a lot of places but I was treated like I was a regular there. I am definitely making this nail salon my home.

If you think all nail places are the same then you clearly haven't been to this nail salon. They recently renovated and it is definitely LUXURIOUS. You just can NOT get that kind of service, ambiance, and quality for that kind of LOW prices. Think >$75 resort quality pedicure for $20. The decor is definitely ultra modern. They have awesome technicians who speak English really well or average.

The best part of my entire experience is the management there. The owner, her son, and niece are INCREDIBLY sweet and accommodating. So cute.

If you go, tell them Angela sent you. :)
