If you are looking for a trustworthy, competitively priced, high-quality auto body shop in the Atlanta area, look no further than Kong's body shop. I have used Kong's three times in the past 18 months and each time he has given be an incredibly competitive price and provided impeccable quality of workmanship. Most recently, I brought in a 2006 Nissan Altima that required some scratch removal before returning the leased car to Nissan. The original inspection from Nissan said that I would have to pay $700 if I returned the car in current condition (due to some scratches on the passenger side). I brought the car to Kong's and he was dissappointed that Nissan wanted to charge for what appeared to be minor scratches. He said that he could fix the scratches for a slightly cheaper rate than Nissan, but recommended that I don't actually fix the scratches, but rather just detail/buff them out. Another body shop might have taken this opportunity to make an additional $500-600, but Kong is a stand-up guy and he said he could buff out the scratches for $100. Not only that, he said that if Nissan did not reduce the damages, he would give me a refund on the $100! This is probably not a written policy, so I am not sure he would hold up this deal for anyone, but I think this experience exemplifies the type of trustworthy business that Kong is running. If you are curious, Nissan removed all charges related to those scratches, so Kong's saved me $600 out of $700 (approx 85% cost reduction).

As long as I am in Atlanta, I will never go to another body shop.

After getting a ridiculous estimate for some body work to my car at the dealer, I decided to look for a new place and luckily I found Kong's. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. Super nice people, reasonable prices, work completed on time or earlier. The shop is within walking distance of my house (a long walk though), and when my car was ready, I told them I was going to walk over but they insisted on me taking a cab on their dime.

They are also super honest about what the best repairs for your car would be - even if it means less money coming to them.

My husband swears by their car wash.

Kongs has been in business for a long time and has always had a reputation for doing good work at a fair price. The car wash that is attached to the front is very convient and professional as well. I recommend to stop by for any accident damage.

I used city search to find Kong's after visiitng several shops in the city. What I found at other shops was lack of customer service, interest and clear direction on what needed to be done to my car. I highly recommend Kong's. Why? He delivers what he says, repairs your car with care and perfection. When you have car damage, you want to be back in it as soon as possible and Kong's will make every effort to do so.
When the insurance adjuster is late or weather and other factors come into play be patient ! The finish product will be worth your wait, priced fairly. Kong and his staff are the most focused workers I have seen.
More than words can say, I have happy with the repair on my car ! !

Quality work, and very quick. I've had several reapir jobs done with them, and all of them have turned out perfect, even when I've given them almost no time to get it done. Work has been flawless, and the staff goes out of their way to make you happy. Highly recommended.
Big bonus - my favorite car wash is next door to the bodyshop!

I am new to the Atlanta area and was a bit skeptical about finding a decent auto body shop after getting in a minor fender bender. However, working with Kong's was a great experience from the start! His estimate was lower than all others I got, he made working with the insurance companies easy and took care of my rental car for me. He was honest and the work looks GREAT! I'll tell everyone I know to go to him!

Over the past 10 years + I?ve been in my fair share of fender benders. Since I first used Kong?s body shop I?ve shopped around but never found anyone that offered the level of quality in workmanship and timeliness that their company offers. If you want the job done right the first time, on time and on budget, I highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with Kong's Body Shop. The quote was far less than his competitors. He was direct and honest. The car ended up a few days taking longer to be ready than he had originally cited but there was a good reason for this; he was clear about explaining why and asked for our understanding. The car repair was done extremely well and the inside was immaculate when we went to pick up the car. We spoke with Kong himself all times we went into the shop. Overall it was a hassle free and easy experience, and in-town to boot. A real rare find. I would highly recommend this service.

I had a wonderful experience at Kong's. When I went to get my estimate I was seen very quickly by the owner, who inspected the car and drafted the estimate, WHICH WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS THAN HIS COMPETITORS, himself. The entire trip took less than 15 minutes. He made a special trip back to his shop so I could drop off my car after work. He was always very prompt when returning calls and was very friendly over the phone. The total charge matched the estimate exactly. My car looks flawless and the work is guaranteed. To top off my great experience, when I went to pick up my car it was freshly washed INSIDE AND OUT! What great service. I will be recommending him to everyone I know. Keep up the good work!

The only expectations I had with Kong's Body Shop was from the reviews I had read on CitySearch. They far exceeded those expectations. I had recently been in an auto accident, which was not my fault. They repaired my car for the appraised value, cleaned the car inside and out, and even shined the tires! The paint they used matches perfectly. It looks like a new car. This service reminds me of the service my Dad gave his customers when we ran his repair shop years ago. Personal and guaranteed. I will definitely use them again.

I've lived in Atlanta for 12 years and unfortunately have been to a few body shops. Kong's is the best. I wish i would've known sooner. Professional, courteous, timely and quality workmanship at a good value. Kong's really cares about cars and I can confidently say that I highly recommend this shop. They know what they're doing and they care. Believe all the positive hype, it's true. I won't take my car anywhere else!

I had a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am that was backed into the rear quarter panel and pushed it in. Im very particular about my vehicles and who i trust to work on them. Especially something such as body/paint work. I was referred to Kong's by a friend who has had work done there. Just looking at some of the work he has done and i was sold. Car was in and out of the shop in no time! Paint matched PERFECTLY! You would have never known it had ever been dented. I will definitely be taking all my vehicles to Kong's from now on and would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone else. Whether its a Trans Am or a Ferrari....Kong's take pride in their work. Period.

Kong's Body Shop has been the one and only place I have taken my cars for repair, and/or custom work since moving the GA, 5 years ago. He is an amazing person to deal with, straight-forward, honest, and very charismatic with all his customers. I have, and will continue to refer all those in need of body repair to KBS. Excellent quality work, fast turn-around time, and above all, customer satisfaction. I'll be soon taking my Corvette Z06 to him to repaint my front-bumper, as its chipped from daily driving, and I know KBS will make it look brand new again.

I was thoroughly impressed with the work and service I received from Kong's. The job was completed within the timeframe promised and the work was better than I thought possible. The hood of my 1997 SUV was replaced and the paint matched the rest of my vehicle perfectly. Despite the extensive damage to the front of my vehicle, Kong's repair made it appear as though it had never been in an accident. I will highly recommend Kong's to family and friends looking for a body repair shop. Kong's is without a doubt the best I have ever done business with!

Sung was great to work with and the quality of work they did on my car was fantastic! My husband got estimates from a few shops, and Kong's was the most reasonable and he *felt* the best about doing business with them. They stuck 100% to their estimate, the work was done on time, and the quality was impecable! We even emailed a question from their website, and Sung responed with in an hour.
We highly recommend Kong's and will go back to them in the future!

Kong's is wonderful. I am so pleased; my car was ready before I was even able to pick it up, the work (a new side panel and bumper) looks fantastic, the interior was cleaned au gratis, and the initial price estimate was faithfully adhered to.

I had wrecked my car and did not have comprehensive insurance on it. I was looking for a body repair shop that would give me the right kind of price and still be professional about their work. I was googling around when i came across Kong's Body Shop. Read his reviews and decided that i talk to them.
They came across to be highly professional and genuine people who understood my problems, detailed out what needs to be done and gave me a very good deal.
The vehicle was delivered in time and i must say it looks feels and runs better than it used to before.
I thank Kong's Body work for the excellent service they have provided and will definitely recommend them to my friends as well.
Its a pity they do not service vehicles too or Kong's would be my first choice hands down.

We are new to the Atlanta area and hadn't a clue where to go for body repairs after a hit and run on I-85............. we asked around and were refered to Kong's. Sung was very friendly and helpful, giving the best estimate of the 3 body shops we visited.
We planned on at least a week without our new car and were surprised with the call it was ready after only 3 days. I told Sung I hoped I never needed him again, but if we did.... we would come back.
Everyone beware of a mid - 90's red Toyota Corrolla on I-85......... I'm still looking for the guy.

Sung and his team were very welcoming and professional. Sung provided an estimate within 10-15 minutes and arranged for the work to begin within 3 business days. Work was done well and on time.

I found Kong's off the Internet. I had just been in a car accident and needed a body shop fast because I had to drive my car to NC for Xmas in a couple of days. I called Sung, and then drove my car over. Sung was awesome. He took me through an estimate, explained the whole insurance process, called me a rental-- the whole nine. The best part about it, is that he got the work done in less than 3 days. I needed my car fast, and he was all over it. And this is just the service. The actual work looks incredible. I'm actually excited to drive my car again. I told Sung I'd give him a glowing testimonial. This is a neighborhood shop that's been around for a while. Give him a shot if you've got some body work to be done.

Kong's realizes you have enough to deal with when you have your car damaged. They really differentiated themselves by making the WHOLE process easy. From rental car to repair to invoicing. They completed their work in it's entirety, on time, when they said they would. They also reviewed what work was performed and asked if it was to our liking. We were encouraged to get other quotes to see what a deal we were getting. Great personal service, not an assembly line.

Good down to earth people. Its not like dealing with a typical body shop, the service is good and the prices are great. Two thumbs up. Good place to take a performance car if you want it treated right.

small, family-owned auto body shop with awesome service and top-notch quality. kong's is an excellent place to go for any type of repair and paint on your car. Kong's Body Shop is honest, guarantee their work, and price is always reasonable...and negotiable. operating for 15years and most customers are either referrals or repeats...that says a lot. you can't get better than this!
