I called to ask about having a cat declawed and spaded and all of a sudden i'm talking to a radio, No " Can you hold please" No "I'll be right back with you" no nothing...I will not put up with RUDE people...I would suggest that you get your staff inline..While I take my kitty elsewhere...Thanks But No thanks.

After watching my beloved Molly go downhill the last couple of weeks, I finally decided to have her put to sleep on Thursday the 15th. Douglas Oaks had cared for Molly the entire 14 years we had her and were always professional and caring. I know Dr. Morgan has retired now, but the new group there was just as caring this morning when this big ol' baby said goodbye !
I would not hesitate to recommend Douglas Oaks to anyone.

I've been going to Douglas Oaks for 20yrs and have loved Dr. Morgan, Dr. Verner and the staff. Dr. Verner saved my daughters dog, when she had parvo. Dr. Morgan used to do services without the extra charges. I took my daughters dog to the vet today and I HATE that place now. I don't like the Dr. or the techs. The techs talk to you like your stupid and don't know anything. And that place charges for everything, I understand when prices need to go up, but double the bill is CRAZY. I will be finding a new vet.

I apologize that your experience didn't meet your expectations or mine for contented clients. Comment cards are at check in and check out counters because we do want to know specifically what we do well & can do better from client's visit. I didn't see one from you. We would like to learn anything we can do to improve relationships. Please call Jane. Thank you! Many people do really appreciate the differences & what is the same. An appreciative client (Thank You LR!) made a Lovely poster for Vet Tech Appreciation Week today and delivered it with a huge pan of her special lasagna as an appreciation for our Techs. She loves them & her thoughtful messages are very appreciated! I believe the office fee changed by $5, for diagnostic animal appointments, from when Dr. Gallagher became owner Oct 1 2008. I've taken my pets to Douglas Oaks, since January 1980. The service and care were great under Dr Morgan and are just as great with Dr. G. I've taken my dog to Dr G twice. He is just as knowledgeable and friendly as Dr Morgan.

Granted the fees have gone up, but that is only normal. Everything is more expensive these day. It's just a fact of life. While the fees have gone up, if someone did a survey of the other area Vets, procedure by procedure, I bet Douglas Oaks' fees would be about the same or lower.

I hope Dr G is here for the long run.

Dr.Morgan was great... we've now been blessed with a new enthusiastic team of sensitive, caring, brilliant, compassionate vets along with hard working staff. Dr. Gallagher & Dr. Jones have booth worked with my furry family members. I cannot say enough good things about both of them. They take their time. They call back to personally speak to me, making sure I understand the health of my cat and dog. They take my little buddies very seriously. Cannot ask for more. Plus their prices are very fair. They help make any charges clear before & after their work. MS

Since Dr. Morgan left I think it is time to find a new vet. The new doctors are horrible. One is so rude & thinks he knows everything. You feel like slapping him everything he opens his mouth. Then the female doctor orders useless test to rack up your bill. And of course the receptionist have always be the rudest people I've ever had to deal with. But in order to see Dr. Morgan I would put up with their remarks & wait for them to take their sweet time. Now Dr. Morgan isn't there & the other doctors if you want to call them that aren't worth my time! Save your time & money - going somewhere else!

I take my 2 dogs to Douglas Oaks, these guys are great. Honestly, this whole area has questionable vet care and this place really makes me feel secure. They are thorough and friendly (the receptionists could be a bit friendlier) and I will always take my animals here!

Ever since Dr. Morgan sold his practice, it has gone down hill! The new vet puts down Dr Morgan if I mention "Dr Morgan Told me that...." My 5 yr old Shi Tzu had A red eye.. I knew what it was, but the new Dr. proceeded to do unnecessary test! I ended up paying $110.00 which would of cost me half of that a few months ago with Dr. Morgan! They do things that are NOT NECESSARY TO RACK UP THE BILL. I am VERY SORRY TO SEE DR MORGAN GO! Time to find another honest vet.

Had this practice taking excellent care of my 2 dobies since they were puppies. 4 years ago and every time we get great service from the team at Douglas Oaks! I drive out to see them from metro Atlanta because they are worth the trip and always offer a quick prognosis and don't 'guess' as much as other vets we've used in the past.

I've used this group for 5 years - not anymore - When they error it is never their fault - When asked to OK an on-line heart-worm med they want want to retest the dog even if they just did it with his annual check-up - then they have another reason not to cooperate with ordering the med - they don't mind if you spend the $$ with them

You will be hearing more regarding my experience with Dr. Morgan and his staff, especially his officer manager wife, Judy. I almost lost my cat of 7 years due to Morgan's lack of caring. I took a male cat in at 10:30 AM crying out in pain because he could not urniate. He was left until 6 that afternoon and I had to pick him up and take him to the emergency to get a cath put in to drain his bladder. This should have been treated as an emergency. He is still in ICU and we're praying he will recover from Morgan's inhumane treatment.

Dr. Ed Morgan and Dr. Justin Verner are both great vets. I tend to have Dr. Verner most of the time and I love his patience and caring understanding of my pets' needs. I have a 15 and a half year old miniature poodle,who now has heart problems, a 7 year old toy poodle, who has had a couple of seizures, and a recent addition of another shorter mini, now 6 months old. They are great with all of them. The medications work for them and they are healthy, happy and vibrant loving doll babies. They also see birds, snakes and other non-dog/cat pets. I would recommend them to anyone.

I recently moved to this area and chose this Vet (referred by a neighbor). It was the best choice I could have made. I am so pleased with the caring service that my "baby" received. My little one tends to be frisky and she was handled with respect and care. This is definately her Vet for good!!

PROS: Exceptional office staff & wonderfully caring Vet.

Dr. Morgan and his hospital staff have cared for my pets for many years now and they have always been helpful and caring in the health treatment of these important family members. This past Christmas we had a health crisis for our 13 year old black lab and they pulled her through this rough time with excellent health care and compassion. I appreciate their help in this and in so many other instances over the last 15 or more years.
