Cortex Hair Studio

Rest assured, the reviews about the unpretentious nature of this salon are true... This salon is entirely laid back and friendly. I formerly had my hair done at Vis a Vis, loved the results but ceased going due to the staggering snootiness of the staff... and clients for that matter.

Cortex is far superior. I highly recommend Skip as she is very adept, easy to talk to (no awkward hairstyling silence) and fun. As for the hair, I briefly articulated my desired hair stlye / color and she completely exceeded my expectations!

For those of you with thick, straight hair who want layers that fall naturally, Skip will not disappoint.

I just went to Cortex for my first time today for highlights and a cut. Corey did my highlights and for the first time in my life, the color was perfect WITHOUT toner! I went to Brandy for the cut (since I heard she was fabulous with naturally curly hair) and she did an amazing job. I don't think my hair ever looked this good! I am very picky about people doing anything to my hair but they did such a great job that I already scheduled my next appt.....in August!

I HIGHLY recommend Cortex!

I've been going to Cortex for over 15 years (every month) and have never had a bad haircut. Jon is world class! And Marion runs a staff
that is truly professional, courteous and polished! The atmosphere
(unlike most salons) is warm and inviting. They make you feel like family! (How many salons offer you herbal tea while you are waiting for your stylist?) A truly hip and original experience! I can see why they keep getting voted as one of Atlanta's top salons!

I was referred to Cortex by a friend, and I haven't used anyone else since. Krista always cuts and styles my hair and does a fantastic job. She really listens to what you want, cuts it perfectly, styles it, and teaches you how to style it on your own (which is really helpful to me!) The price is very reasonable as well!

I like going to Cortex Hair Studio to have my hair done especially when I have to attend an important meeting or a presentation to do for work. They have vevry reasonable prices and they can always do what i wanted my hair to look like. They are very professional and a very great place to go.

I got my hair done her for a party that I was going to attend on the weekend and they made my hair look great. Everyone wanted to know who had done my hair because it looked so good. I didn'nt even get charged much either.

This salon is very well priced and the stylists are great. I have trouble picking out new styles and the last time I was there Erin chose the perfect look for me. Treat yourself at this salon and walk out looking sexy and hip!
