If I could give this store a score of negative stars it would be a -10 but I have to give it something so it's a 1 star but that's really being too kind. My son was, was being the key word, taking piano lessons at this store. The instructor who is a private contractor was fine but the owner of this store has zero customer service skills - check out someone else's review on Kudzu also. My wife and I had two issues with the owner. First, we had informed the store well in advance that we would be out of town for one of our son??s regularly scheduled piano lessons and asked to schedule a makeup lesson, no problem so far. When we arrived for the appointed make up lesson we were informed that our sons teacher had another student scheduled. No problem we thought, we understand scheduling errors, but the owner proceeded to comment on how we had "missed our appointment and he still had to pay the instructor". Mind you that we informed the store well in advance that we would be out of town. The owner insisted that my wife had given him the wrong date. He even pulled out his appointment book to show us that he had written down the date. He was so arrogant and insisted that there was no chance that HE made a mistake. We did like the music teacher so we overlooked the owner??s arrogance this time and we just let it go. There is a very slim chance that my wife was in error, though I don't believe she was as we had been planning this trip for months and she knew the dates off the top of her head without having to look up anything in an appointment book so we gave the owner the benefit of the doubt. Unusual for a customer to concede that they might have been in error, we were out the money we paid for a music lesson and did not receive the service we paid for, no big deal to us. The second issue was similar in that we were going to be out of town. This store requires that you pay one month in advance for next month??s music lessons. The day we were going to be out of town was the day that next month??s payment was going to be due. We called the store and spoke to one of the employees and explained that we would be out of town but our sons grandmother would be bringing him to his regularly scheduled music lesson and would it be okay if I came by the store after we got back in town to pay for next month??s lessons, No problem, that is till I arrived at the store to make my payment I was informed that our sons regular day and time slot had been given to someone else. Now we had been paying for music lessons at this store for about a year, with our son??s lesson always on the same day at the same time. One might think that we might have at least received a courtesy phone call to confirm that we wanted our regular day and time and to confirm that I would be in to make payment for next month??s lessons (I never missed or was late on a payment before) before they gave our time slot to someone else. That's just basic customer service. Not this guy, like I said, the owner has zero customer service skills. My wife called the store and asked the owner why no one had called us before they gave our regular time slot to someone else and the owner??s response was, "I have 122 customers do you expect me to call all of them". My wife hung up the phone and we will never spend another penny in this store. We have made arrangements for our son to take music lessons from a private teacher. My sister and her son were also taking music lessons from this store and had similar issues with the owner being rude, arrogant and just not caring about his customers so they have also stopped taking lessons at this store. It must be nice not to need or want customers. In my business I have more than 42,000 customers and if they miss or are late on a payment I give them courtesy calls all the time. I was in this store on a weekly basis for about a year or more, so at least 52 times, and I have never seen the owner in a friendly mood. His attitude and demeanor is consistent, it??s like he is mad at the world and it is everyone??s fault but his.

My children took piano and violin lessons at this location. High quality instruction. They also have instruments for rent for band students Good location right near WalMart.
