Teenagers discovering "counterculture" for the first time will be amused by this store. It's fun to browse, but merchandise is generally overpriced and not even necessarily of the highest quality. Go to this store for ideas for funny gifts and accessories for your dorm or apartment. If it's some cheap postcard, buy it. If it's something you must have but cannot afford, go home and google whatever it is and buy it online for a more reasonable price. Of course, if you have the cash to burn, go crazy and buy it at the store. But if you are a student on a budget.. follow my example.

Example: I found a giant Beatles poster I wanted at their store for 35 bucks. I went home and bought it for 15, including shipping, on ebay. But I have to thank Junkman's because I wouldn't have known to look for the poster without seeing it at their store first.

A bunch of random things in one store. A "punk-rock" walmart, if you will. Lots of clothes that are too expensive. Lots of pipes that aren't that great. And, of course, an INCREDIBLY rude staff.... I THINK THIS PLACE IS GREAT!! If you can't handle the rudeness of the staff, then you probably shouldn't be in that store anyway. If you think the prices are too high, then cry harder about it to your mommy or daddy, don't blame the store. As far as the neighborhood goes... suck it up.

Its amazing that this place has managed to stay in business. Considering its in L5P and people in the community arent known for spending $60 on a tank top! Way overpriced for the Hot Topicesque attire that you can get cheaper now at Pink Skeleton anyways;>

Filled with quirky, alternative, inappropriate fashions. Perfect for the goth, punk kid in us all.
Brand-new threads, cool vintage and, yes, a little bit of junk. You can update your collection of Elvis paraphernalia, put together the perfect Halloween costume and find an outfit for the evening all in one store. Clothes and shoes tend toward the more vivid side of fashion, and they range from casual to club. Gift ideas are endless: brass statuettes, candles, cookbooks and leather sundries. The staff is rude and is too involved in making sure their 17 facial piercings are aligned to care about customer service.

The Junkman's Daughter is a fascinating store! They have hip, alternative clothes and shoes...those items are generally on the pricey side but every so often you can find something on sale. The shop located in Little 5 Points. Where else can your aunt relive her disco 70's days and your grandma can rethink your sanity! Junkman's has tons of fabulous and very unique things for you to decorate your dorm room or apartment.

PROS: great selection
CONS: semi-sketchy neighborhood at night

I never know how to characterize this store, but whatever it is you are looking for you can probably find it here. They carry clothes of all types, they carry shoes (up to 14 in womens) and in the back they have quite a selection of fetish wear.

They also carry incense, pipes, and that sort of thing.

It has it's own parking, but can be difficult to get in and out of because of its location.

worthless overpriced junk for tourists and those who pay too much to be trendy. If you want cool clothes, try thrift stores or local consignments. Junkmans is too cool for its own good.

Junkman's Daughter is a humongous shop which carries a huge variety of merchandise - new and vintage clothing with a bit of junk to boot. There is an entire loft full of shoes, as well as brass items, candles, cookbooks and quirky souvenir type items. Junkman's Daughter is a great place to put together a Halloween costume, too.

PROS: Huge Variety of Unusual Clothing, Accessories and Knick-Knacks
CONS: Sales Staff May or May Not be Helpful

This is located in little five points in Atlanta. If you're in the area you should definitely check it out. Its got a huge amount of stuff including alot of vintage finds. Think of it as a Spencers times ten with alot more class. They are very over priced though and you can usually find most of their stuff cheaper on the internet. They do have though very unique magnets and candles.

This shop is something of a landmark in the alternative/hip East Atlanta/Little 5 points area. They sell some erotic, fetish and alternative clothing, but selection is unimpressive, very repetitive, and overpriced. You can always find fetish staples like fishnets and schoolgirl/cheerleader uniforms, though. Shoe selection is limited to stripper and goth styles, for the most part - think chunky platforms, very high stilettoes, etc. Shoes are also very expensive, but those types usually are.

Their toy and souvenir selection is much better, there's a large number of cultural mainstays and cult favorites, from marilyn monroe to simpsons, from comic book characters to devils and frankensteins, and everything in between, on toys, gadgets and the like. Some jewelry and cosmetics (again not the mainstream type).

There are some coffee table books, but those are usually much cheaper on Amazon. Also, tobacco pipe and flask shop in the back .

I'd recommend visiting it if you're looking for a last-minute present for not-too-uptight friend or relative, for a funny, tongue-in-cheek, amusing gifts.

The Junkman's Daughter stocks many countercultural clothing and accessories. Great for clothes for parties or just to look like who you really are (vs. suburban dress for success). The place is also great for college students to stock up a really cool dorm room. The staff is friendly and helpful. Easy to find, just drive down to Little Five Points on Moreland.

We use this store many times when we are trying to put together Halloween costumes. They have a huge set-up with an upstairs and downstairs. The staff are "interesting" (take that how you want), and the prices are ok, but on many items, you could probably find cheaper. This store is great, however, if you are looking for hard to find novelties or gag gifts. Cartoon characters that you have not seen in years are featured on clothing and other merchanise in addition to their collection of shoes.
I have heard from friends that they will not let you return anything but cannot confirm. They have ample parking in the lot in front of the store.
In sum, if you are in college, are into trendy/junky clothes or need a costume check it out. Be warned - this is not a place to purchase "normal" clothing. Again - I found this place in college and we use it for costumes only!

The Junkman's Daughter is a fascinating store! They have hip, alternative clothes and shoes...those items are generally on the pricey side but every so often you can find something on sale. They also have off the wall gift ideas, pretty much everything under the sun...from Nightmare Before Christmas dolls to candles to hair coloring products to used cds. Very fun store!

What won't you find at Junkman's Daughter? Walk in the door and the sheer amount of inventory is amazing, it's hard to know where to begin! Unless you have something definite in mind that you're looking for, I recommend wandering around and browsing. You can find the coolest and most unique items this way - by not even looking for it! Staff are knowledgeable about the inventory and if you're looking for something particular, they can usually tell you whether or not they have it. Parking can be tricky, especially on weekends - bring a couple of bucks with you in case there's a parking fee.

Junkman's Daughter is another unique shop located in Little 5 Points. There is something here for the hippy, goth, punk, you name it and they have it. I take my kids shopping here all the time and they love to pick up some of the vintage tees for cheap (in the back of the store). They have plenty of novelty items, home decor, books, etc.

Okay, this place has some cool novelty items (vinyl shower curtains with meat or hula dancers, playing card-like shot glasses), and you have your TUK and punk/goth shoes, which are quite a price tag, per usual. But I find the rest of the store somewhat "okay". The displays on the walls are great , as well as random cardboard cutouts.
The store is huge, I'll give it that. Lots of things.
I've never gotten so much of a glance from the employees when shopping there.

CONS: Service and Price

Punk, Goth, Heavy-Metal. Call it what you may - this store's got it all. Clothes, shoes, jewelery, costumes, books.... you name it, they got it. A requirement to be hired it having more piercings than you do fingers, and hair color that does not naturally exist - but they're friendly, and helpful! You will enjoy shopping here.
