Anna was our photographer today and we had a great experience with my 3 month old. This is my 3rd child, so we've had plenty of portraits made and this was the best location and best experience by far. I was alone with 3 kids and with the great setup, my older children could play with legos and talk to me while I worked with the baby. I love the open rooms for this reason, and my oldest even came in and out to help.

Anna was very patient and seemed very used to working with young children. I loved that she captured my baby at different angles and with many different expressions. She snapped candids from the floor, from above, etc., so not everything had that look of being posed.

I must admit that I did walk out spending more than I had planned, but the pictures were awesome and she didn't pressure me to buy, only to narrow down as I wished. Out of 76 pictures taken, I purchased 9 poses with 3 sheets each and also received 3 free 10x13s with special effects and a free CD of all 76 pictures (can't print, but can email). Total with tax was $159. The pictures were ready in 30-40 minutes, so we relaxed at the nearby Starbuck's and then picked up the pictures. They turned out beautifully, and I will recommend this studio to all my friends and family. This was so much better than Target, Olan Mills, etc, and we will definitely return here for family portraits. We may even pop in often for the $9.99 package deal (if I can resist all the other shots!!!).

I have been to this studio several times. Sometimes I think they are fantastic. Other times I feel as though the photographers lack enthusiasm, skill and the energy needed to get my kids to smile. One time I went to get some belly photos with myself and my kids when I was pregnant. The photographer didn't seem to have any idea how to pose me, what I wanted, which struck me as odd as they advertise these type of shots in the fliers, etc. I always end up coming away with some great shots but not without some frustration and a lot of direction by me. I even had to call and complain one time and didn't real feel like I got a sincere apology for the hassle I went through. I keep going there though as the price is right and with 40 shots one is always good!

PROS: Can take the photos home with you, Cost is reasonable, take 30-50 shots
CONS: Photographers seem young and not that experienced
