Do NOT take your pet to this clinic. I adopted an older dog and decided to go to Ambery since it was close. There were some red flags early on, like asking me to collect and bring in urine samples from my dog. But the when she diagnosed my dog with hip dysplasia and suggested surgery, I went to another vet for a second diagnosis. I took the $200 xrays from Ambery Animal Hospital with me and they were absolutely useless. The other vet pointed out that the xrays had not be marked right or left, so she had no idea which leg she was looking at. My dog had not been sedated for the xrays so her hips were not spread apart in way that hip dysplasia can be imaged. I don??t know how Dr. Daniel sleeps at night.
We LOVE the folks at Ambery! We have two dogs, Parker and Cricket, and Dr. Monica Daniel and her team always take the best care of them! We go to Ambery for regular check-ups, shots, got electronic tags and also board both dogs there.

I live in the Midtown area so this vet is perfectly located for me. My black lab's name is Pepper, and he has gotten to know the staff at Ambery really well. I travel a lot so I have to use their boarding facilities about once a month. Pepper has become a VIP of sorts at Ambery, and this relationship has really cemented this place as my Vet of choice. The staff love Pepper....their caring relationship with my dog leaves me with 100% confidence in them taking care of him when I have to go out of town, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Dr. Daniel is very honest and upfront with her patients and definitely has the animals' best interest at heart. She doesn't ask pet owners to leave the room for procedures (a problem I've encountered at other places) and she is forthcoming about revealing costs before doing anything. She even calls to check up on my animals after a sick visit. Her practice is more expensive than the previous vet I used, but I love her attitude and she's been so helpful in advising me about my "mature" dogs. The entire staff is very kind and helpful, and the office is very clean and pleasant.

I just recently moved to Atlanta, and I live off Howell Mill Rd. I'd seen this place a few times before I decided to give it a shot for my new Vet.
My dog's name is Conan, and he's a miniature Dachshund. He hates going to the Vet, but Dr. Monica Daniel and her staff were very kind and gentle with my anxious little pup. They did a good bit of work on him. They performed Vaccinations, stool samples, and a medical inspection. I also got some hearth-worm medication and a Rabies vaccination certificate.
The prices were very reasonable, and they gave me a transcript of everything they did with the associated costs. I got 5 vaccinations all for around $15 each, the stool tests were about $18 as well as the heartworm test.
Dr. Daniel provided me with a lot of advice about my dog. She recommended the amount of food to feed him, how to help with his anxiety, and why I should get him fixed. Getting him neutered is something I didn't want to do, but I can respect that she offers an unbiased opinion based on her medical experience.
My dog got a good report card in the end, and they fed him some treats for being a good boy. I was very happy with my visit here, and it really impressed me. Everything at Ambery Animal Hospital was so much more personable than my last visit to Banfield (Petsmart).
I highly recommend Dr. Monica Daniel to everyone out there that loves their pet.
My dog got attacked by a Pitt. I took it into the office. The lady behind the counter was more interested in answeing the phones instead of helping us even after we told her it was an emergency. When we finally saw the doctor she gave us an estimate of the bill (if there were no broken bones). It was almost $900.00. She then weighted her and took her temperature. She then told me to to go the Humane society and see what they said. she then charged me $63.00!!!!!! I went to the humain society in Chamblee. What a difference!!!!they cleaned, shaved x-rays and 2 types of medicine, clean with a bed side maner!!! It cost me a whole $88.00. Ambery was going to charge me 10x the rate.......They will never see me again.......go at the risk of your pet!
I love my dog, so I'm usually not cheap when it comes to buying things for him, but I went here to get him some flea medication and for an 8 lb. dog for 6 treatments it was $128! After I had already made this mistake my boyfriend told me to go Pets are People too (close to midtown) and for the same treatment they charge $75! Ambery wasn't very clean looking or nice either. Def. not a place I will ever be returning to.
Pros: none that I know of
Cons: expensive, not clean
