Blue Moon Pizza

This place has phenominal pizza, paninis and salads. The salads come ON TOP of pizza bread, instead of just a plate, which I think is really cool (as well as delicious!) They deliver, have decent specials, and taste SO much better than Dominos or Pappa Johns. If you plan on eating in-house beware it gets super busy around lunchtime, so try and go a little early, or a little late, but I have never been dissappointed with anything I've ever ordered at blue moon. I also love that there is a cool, low-key, GOOD restaurant like this located OTP, so I get to save my gas money, and buy an extra round of beers!

It's obvious that many of the reviews on here were written by the same person - the writing style is the same and the reviewers have written about only one place which is Blue Moon. My point is that the owners don't need to create aliases for several people to say how good Blue Moon is. Let your customers do the talking and I think you'll be happy with the results. Blue Moon has great pizza. I never order delivery from anywhere else. It's some of the best pizza I've had in Atlanta. The delivery service could be a little bit better though. It's a mixed bag as to whether your pizza will be delivered warm. Also, a lot of drivers seem to be unfamiliar with the area for some reason and I've had many call me en route to say that they were lost and need help finding my home (and I live just off of a major road so it's not like I'm in the boonies). Besides that, I love this place.

This pizza is as close to New York as you can get in atlanta!!! The taste is sensational and vigirating and I would tell many people about my experience.

We had a group of about 23 people on a Friday night. We had one waitress and she was excellent! Her name was Cassie I think. We all played trivia and had a great time. At first it was a little hard to hear the trivia announcer because the place was packed but he turned up the mic and it was fine from then on. The pizza was very good also. We will be back!

I really enjoyed the different types of pizza to ordered here. They get your food to you quickly. The was expecially important to me with having limited time for you my hour. Great atmosphere. Want to try something new Check out Blue Moon. Wonderfully delicious!!!!!

The pizza was ok. I do think the staff was alittle up tight. Altogether I would visit again but not in a rush to return. If I were in the area it could potentially be a decent lunch spot or meeting place to chat and enjoy my friends and eat a slice.

Get the caramelized onions on your pizza. Garlic rolls are also always fresh and tasty. Fun atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Avoid trivia nights if you don't want to play, you won't be able to hear the other people at your table. On the pricier side as for as pizza goes - but worth it!

The pizza is delicious - easily the best we have found in Atlanta, since CK's pizza went out of business. One nice detail; if you can't choose which of their specialty pizzas you want, they will split it for you. For example, Greek on half and Classic on the other half, with no extra charge. We have always found the servers to be very pleasant. Unless you want to play Trivia, I would skip Wednesday and Fridays after 8:00. It gets very crowded and noisy.

My friends and I consider ourselves pizza connoisseurs and hands down this is the best pizza we've ever had!! It's always fresh and delicious!! The service is also worth writing about...the servers are very customer service oriented and aim to please!! Although I could eat it everyday, Monday's are my favorite night for Blue Moon...it's a great way to wrap up the first day back to work after the weekend. Not to mention it's a great place for Monday night football. If you've never been to Blue Moon you must check them out. You'll be hooked!!

I have been a Blue Moon Pizza "convert" for over about two years year and have been driving to Marietta from Duluth for the best Pizza in Atlanta and in any other City I have ever visited. This is truly pizza that comes along "Once in a Blue Moon" !!!!!

I love sitting on the deck to eat the classic pizza and wings! The wings are larger than most restaurants and really tasty. My daughter always looks forward to receiving her personal dough. Blue Moon is the better than the rest!

I really enjoy dining at Blue Moon. The greek pizza is my favorite. The crust is just right, not to thick or oily. I can never leave without having the cookie and ice cream dessert. My goodness that cookie melts in my mouth ! Way to go Blue Moon!

I would recommend Blue Moon as a casual dining restaurant or an outing with a group of friends. The trivia night is always so fun with friends competing for the prize. I love sitting on the deck during the warmer seasons. The food is very good and I had pleasant service, try it out and you'll be back for sure!

Unlike most restaurants you will taste a cheaper version of tomato sauce. I drive almost an hour to dine at Blue Moon. The food is very good. I love the classic pizza. The crust is not to thick or greasy. I always leave with left overs because the pies are a nice size. Nice job Blue Moon !

Blue Moon is a great restarant for everyone. The other night, I took my 2 year old and my inlaws there for dinner. Both the young and older loved it! The pizza was wonderul, the best crust we had ever had!! The beer selection is vast and they make great martini's! Give Blue Moon a try, it will become one of your favorite places to dine!!

Had a wonderful time at Blue Moon Pizza the other day. The bartender Mark, was really friendly, and made some of the best martini's we have ever had. We will definitly be back to see him. Cool atmosphere & vibe for my girlfriends and I to get togeather. We will be back every Thursday for Martini night.

Blue Moon Pizza is my favorite place for casual dining with excellent pizza and beverages. It is Not your ordinary pizza but Extraordinary in presentation and taste. My favorite is "white Pizza". I've invited friends to join me there after work, and it is now highly recommended to more friends to try. I suggest that you try it too, you might like it!

I have always loved the food at Blue Moon. I have dined here for the past 4 years and I am pleased to know that there is another location in Symrna. Hopefully, I will see Blue Moon in surrounding counties. The Blue Moon Salad served with or without the pizza dough is scrumptious! The service and atmosphere is great. Keep up the excellent work!!

Can not say enough good things about this place!! Great, Great Pizza that is different from all the "usual" things you see. Their White Pizza is to die for but the Cheeseburger Pizza comes in a close second!! The crust is fresh every day and you can tell. Atmosphere is great with or without kids. My little girl loves to go because they hand out fresh pizza dough for the kids to play with!! Great idea!! Very good wine and beer selection. The staff is VERY friendly and courteous. And although we are talking pizza...try their wings too!!

Pros: Exellent food, friendly staff, parking is easy, if you are lucky and live in the area they deliver!!

Cons: only con is I don't have one close but it is so worth the drive!

I visited Blue Moon Pizza w/ some co-workers and thought the food was good and atmosphere cool. I had a slice of mushroom & cheese pizza - good crust, sauce and toppings - and a Blue Moon salad. I saw someone eating the "salad pizza" the last reviewer mentioned and I'll try that next time since it looked so good. This is a great place for lunch or after work for drinks. Very cool aesthetic for OTP with a great menu selections & pizza toppings!

Where else can you get your salad tossed on a plain pizza? Good ingredients, a little bit slow in service (number of times I had to go back to our waitstaff to see when it's going to get ready), but there small is medium, medium is large, large is extra large if you want to compare sizes to other pizza places in town. For drinks I often get Blue Moon Beer (happened to have the same name).

Blue Moon is one of the best kept secrets in the Atlanta area. The food is great (skip dessert though). You won't find a better pizza anywhere. The drinks are also excellent as is the service.

Thursday nights are the time to go for 5 dollar martinis, the service was excellent, the food was great, good atmosphere, the drink prices were lower than most other places I go. The patio is really nice at night, great place to take a date, relaxed feel to it.

Awesome Pizza. Great service. Try the Meteor or the white pizza. Also, get a pitcher of the Blue Moon Micro Brew. Swing by for Trivia on Tuesdays and Fridays. They also have a Texas Holdem night. Its a guaranteed crowd pleaser.

Let's face it, making pizza is not rocket science...dough + sauce + cheese + toppings = pizza. Blue Moon gets the equation perfect and seems to do well with other items on the menu. I've eaten lunch there on multiple occasions and the first time I went was very impressed with both the service and the food. The next time the same item I had ordered was poorly prepared and much smaller as if there was little consistency in the kitchen beyond the pizza. On a third return the service was just unforgivably bad with us finally having to approach the manager only to find that our order had been lost in the shuffle.

I have 3 words- Barbeque Chicken Pizza.
Remember the scene in the diner in "When Harry Met Sally"? Request the barbecue chicken pizza and you'll have what she's having. Absolutely the best pizza! I come to Atlanta several times a year and my visit wouldn't be complete without a stop at Blue Moon. Service is great, food is excellent and atmosphere very relaxed. I recommend a wedge (salad) and a medium pizza, which will leave extra for the next day- it's just as good warmed up! Wish I had a Blue Moon in my town!

Every other month, I drive into Atlanta to visit my sister, and our Friday nite tradition is to dine at Blue Moon. The food is unbelieveable... Classic Pizza, Barbecue Pizza, Margherita Pizza, BLT, Fries, Lettuce Wedge w/ Blue Cheese Dressing - I love it all, right down to the last crumb of pizza crust! You won't find better, and you won't break the bank dining here either! Outstanding!!

Blue Moon Pizza has the kind of pizza we remember from our college days--homemade, delicious, and full of great ingredients. We especially recommend the meat lovers pizza with cayenne-flavored bacon--absolutely fantastic. The salads and desserts (chocolate chip cookie and key lime pie) are delicious. If I can't have Blue Moon Pizza every few days, I do through withdrawals!!! This is the BEST pizza I have ever had. I don't know what they do to the crust, but its fabulous! I am not a salad person, but I love the wedge salad with the Blue Cheese and incredible candied cayenne bacon. Service was fast and friendly. The porch is great. Nice sunset view.

Blue moon pizza is one the best places in town to eat. It has some of the best beers on tap and some of the greatest margaritas that you can imagine. The ambience at Blue Moon Pizza feels comfortable and relaxing. They have a chicken barbeque thin crust pizza which almost to die for. They also have the best service that I have ever experience, and the value is also great. I give Blue Moon Pizza an exceptional rating.
