I always try to keep up when a new show is comeing out(usually every few months). They are all hillarious even though it is "murder mystery" (think the movie CLUE). You get a 5 course meal and the play for around 50 bucks (a little cheaper during the week).
The best part is that they will pull you into the action, litterally. Both my husband and I have been pulled away to participate before.
They also do group parties. (They have neat brochers if you are thinking of going that route.)

I know, it sounds a little weird - a murder-mystery while you're eating dinner? But it actually seems quite natural when you're there and enjoying the delicious food at Agatha's. Of course, there is a chance you may not be eating, since dinner guests are frequently pressed into acting service during the show. (Don't worry, it won't take long!) The atmosphere is friendly and warm, and the wait staff is efficient. It doesn't have an exotic menu, just good American cooking to enjoy while you solve the case. The price tag really isn't much more than you'd pay for an expensive Midtown eatery and you probably wouldn't have as much fun there, either. Parking is plenty and traffic is rarely a problem in the evening.
