Just wanted to introduce ourselves - we are Joanne and John Cook, new owners of Antonino's. We have been dining here for several years now and jumped at the chance to continue the wonderful experience that Tony Ceritto had provided guests

My family has eaten at this restaurant for a few years and we always had a wonderful meal until tonight. I took one bite of my food and realized that there was a new owner and the quality of the food went downhill. When the server asked

Great local dining, wallet friendly.

... and lucky for us, right here in the heart of Cartersville!

I love going to Antoninos. The feeding frenzy begins with the delicious garlic rolls, but don't fill up on them... because you really need to save room for the excellent selection of main entrees. My favorite is a toss up between Chicken Antonio and the Shrimp / Scallop Abbriata. Yum!
Do yourself a favor and try the amazing NY Cannolis or the BEST Cheesecake ever!!

One of my favorite spots in Cartersville! I love Italian food and this is one of my favorites! From the bread and salads to the desserts, everything tastes great! I would highly recommend the cheesecake!

I really like it here. My family and I go everytime we visit the Indian Mounds. I've met Antonio and he's really ncie and layed back. This is not a stuffy place, so stuffy people who take themselves too seriously won't like it. The food in my opinion is good, the portions are decent and so is the price. I have a problem with people who take out their bad days on the customers who help pay their bills, but I've never had a problem there.

Pros: chill, nice, good bread, inexpensive

Cons: young staff

I've been to this particular restaurant three times. My first and second experience left me not recommending this place. Well, I tried it again tonight. The experience was totally different. My waiter was friendly, and helpful with recommendations about the menu. I had the eggplant parmigiana. It was a little salty but good. The prices are always within my budget. After tonight's experience, I will be back. If you want a good server, ask for Trace.

My husband, myself and our two daughters had the opportunity to visit Antonino's Italian Grill recently during a week night. One of our daughters ordered Grilled Steak Pizziola. The waitress said that they no longer serve beef. I ordered Veal Saltimbocca, and I was informed that they were out of veal. Our daughters then both ordered Shrimp and Scallop Abbriata, my husband ordered Frutto da Mare, and I ordered Fettuccine Carbonara. The salads were ordered with the house dressing. It tasted like someone poured olive oil and vinegar on the lettuce. The rolls, in olive oil and garlic, were over cooked and difficult to eat. When our meals arrived, my husbands' Frutto da Mare smelled terrible! The seafood had a sour smell, he was afraid to eat his meal due to possibly getting ill. The rest of us ate very little. The cream sauce on our meals were extremely dry and unappealing. Also, their dessert menu was pretty scarce, my daughter ordered cheesecake, and, they were out of that too!
We were all very disappointed with this restaurant. We most definitely will not visit this restaurant again.

If you're looking for a quiet place with delicious authentic Italian food, then you must visit Antoninos. It is located on the square in downtown Cartersville. The servings sizes are large and reasonably priced. The restaurant is family owned/operated and provides impeccable service. I have family from out of state that must visit Antoninos when they're in town!

PROS: Delicious food/quiet intimate restaurant setting
CONS:

This is a good place to eat if you have several hours to wait. My family goes here frequently and it is always the same. Good food but sloooooooooooow service. The staff is ok. You might have to ask for a refill or more bread. They need staff more concerned about the customers than themselves.
