Natural Body Spa & Shoppe - Buckhead

Came in for a massage and what I thought would be an over priced pedi. I had a gift certificate so I wasn't worried about the cost here.
I got to the spa around 9:45 am and my appointment started at 10. I was greeted with a warm cup of tea and brought into a cozy waiting room. What a treat! The waiting room had W Magazine, Vogue, Cosmo, a couple fun Buddha books, US Weekly, strawberries, cucumber water (?) and soft chairs.
The massage was delightful. I had to ask for a lighter touch but the massage therapist made the correct change in pressure.
The pedi was mad (never used that word before now) :-) fun. I read US Weekly and then napped in the most comfortable chair ever.

I think this place gets the idea of relaxing and good spa services.

Natural Body Spa Buckhead located on Peachtree Rd is my new favorite spa in Atlanta! I just had their signature facial and it was amazing! Ive had many facials around Atlanta, but this was the best. I would recommend this spa to anyone.

This is my first review on Citysearch and I couldn't be happier to give it to Natural Body Day Spa Buckhead. I took my boyfriend two days ago for a couples massage on Valentines Day. This was his first massage. They were over the top! I was so impressed.... fresh chocolate covered strawberries, flowers all over the place, people smiling all over the place! Our massage therapists were so so so much fun. I will be back to this before next Valentines Day.

I just recently relocated from New York to Atlanta and was desperate to find a day spa that compared to the ones I am use to back home. I found this spa through city search and decided to give it a try..... I LOVED IT! The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff was very warm and friendly. I never thought i would find an esthetician to compare to my girl back home, but Laura was unbelievable. The waxing was quick and perfect and the facial was AMAZING! Truly the best I've ever had. She answered all my questions but didn't push a lot of products on me like I am use to in the past. For all of you looking for a great day spa, this is it! Ask for Laura!

I was recommended to Natural Body Buckhead by a friend of mine who absolutely loves this Spa. She gets facials and brow & Bikini waxes by a girl named Nicole. I tried it out and was amazed at how friendly and professional the people were and how beautiful and serene the decor was. I was especially impressed at how educated and knowledgeable my esthetician was. She knew exactly what to do with my troublesome skin and we had a lot of fun just chatting. I would highly recommend this place to anybody in need of a good pampering. Ask for Nicole she is the best!

I had a girlfriend come visit two weeks ago and she requested we go here. She had a friend who gave it really high marks. I live directly behind the Peachtree Battle Shopping Center in Peachtree Hills but had never been. We both got a massage and a facial and I requested the Jorleque Facial. I LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT! I have lived here for 3 years and I had visiting friend take me here! How embarrassing!! My therapist were Laura and Michelle.

I have been a client of Natural Body Spa in Buckhead for over 7 years. I started coming in 2001 when they were this tiny 5 room spa that had an amazing staff. The staff was very tight and it was easy to see they truly enjoyed their work. I have formed friendships with three of them that has seen me through two babies and other joys and sorrows over the last 7 years.
As the years went by in became harder and harder to get an appointment. This was a downer but every time I tried another spa I was let down again and again. When Natural Body in Buckhead said they had purchased the spot next to them I was delighted! What they did with the space next door transformed my little tiny spa to a beauitful yet cozy spa with over 11 rooms.
Here was the problem+++ it had double the employees and I noticed it was struggling to keep that small personal feel. For about 6 months I thought the service let off. Then about 3 months ago I noticed that the feel was back. The tiny spa feel that is.
I spoke with my girl and she said that when they added 8 employees that people simply didn't know hot to work together. Now they have continued to tweek the new staff and things are starting to gell.... dare I say better now than before? We will have to wait and see.
My advice is this is the best spa in metro Atlanta. I suggest the Corrective Facial and the Deep Tissue Massage. My therapist are: Scott or Michele for Massage, Laura for Facials and Waxing, and both their nail people are great!
So there we go....

Unprofessional employees, and decidedly indifferent. Will not go out of their way for their well paying customers. Likely the result of being part of a larger franchise where the bottom line is profitability, and not customer satisfaction. Too many other spas in Buckhead that are of better quality to spend another word on.

I have been an occasional client of Natural Body for over 10 years, but usually only go once or twice a year. Over the past few years, I've noticed a decline in the cleanliness and service of this establishment. Recently, I went for a back facial and really had a bad experience. The therapist kept insulting me, telling me that I didn't know how to take care of my skin and if I did, I would not need the back facial. I was so embarrased, I'll never to back to Natural Body again.

I have had many bad massages and have to say, no matter which therapist I amwithat this location, the massage and facial is always great. They actually care abut their work. I highly recommend this spa to anyone. Book early and enjoy the great sevices and wonderful products.

I had a one hour massage scheduled at 6:45pm on a Tuesday night. I got stuck in traffic and arrived at the spa at 7:10pm. I knew that the massage would be cut short by 20 minutes because they close at 8pm. The therapist, Quinten I think, picked me up and let me know that he would work until 8:30 and not to worry. He said it was my time to relax and he was in no hurry. I got a 65 minute amazing massage and was charged for just one hour. I remember when all stores were like this. Great job Natural Body in Peachtree Battle.

I went to Natural Body Spa in Buckhead last Thursday. I wanted to get a pinched nerve worked out and decided to get a brow wax and a lash tint as well. The brow wax was perfectly on point and the massage was OHHHHH so relaxing! Great job! I will be back!

I had a wonderful escape to the Natural Body Spa located in Buckhead. We had Scott and Andra for a "Togetherness Massage". These technicians were nothing less than magical. They were sweet, attentive and hilarious. We both walked out on a Saturday morning with big smiles and relaxed bodies. I live in the burbs but will be making the effort to come back in when I can. AND I LOVED THE PEPPERMINT TEA AND THE STRAWBERRIES!

all I have to say is............................... OHLALAAA! Gay Jim rates this place near the top in customer service and facials. Sinet was lovable, honest about my skin, and proactive about getting results. She put me on a strict regime... so going forward its 5 products, water, and sleep... we will see what my skin looks like in 2 months... so far so good and its ony been 16 days!

I stopped in for a massage at Natural Body Spa this weekend/ the location in Peachtree Battle. I had stopped going there around a year ago after they were unable to accomadate my schedule/ the problem was with only five rooms they were always booked. I had no idea that they had leased the spot next-door and doubled their size! Not only that they created a whole new look. From what I remember I liked the old spa but the new spa is simply breathtaking. I was floored. The massage was brilliant like always. I recommend this place to any and all spa goers. Try Michelle or Miche for massage.

I went to the grand reopening of the new Buckhead location off of Peachtree Rd and Peachtree Battle. This is what Atlanta needs! This spa is absolutely breathtaking.
I got a brow wax and a half hour massage and both therapist were out of this world. It was there amazing attention to detail that stood out... I must say this place has an amazing feel!!! Jenny

I made an appointment for a facial 2 weeks before the appointment date. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested, but they were running 20 minutes late. since I had to be somewhere right afterwards, I told them that I would only be able to do a 50 minute, not 80 minute facial. At the end of my consultation with the facialist, I said that I really wanted to relax, but she continued to try selling me all of the products the whole time, even after I said I wasn't interested. When I was leaving, I noticed that they had charged me for the 80 minute facial. When I asked about it, they said they said that it didn't fall within the window of their cancellation policy. It was their fault since they were the ones running late! It took 2 months and many phone calls to get this resolved. Stay away!!

The Bad: Their was banging during my facial because they where building out. It stopped about 20 minutes into my facial. 2) The fact I couldn't find parking

The Good: Hands down the best facial I ever had! She threw in a brow wax as well. My skin glowed for a week! I bought a cleanser from Jurlique and it has served me so well!

Well worth the two week wait to get in! Laura was amazing!

Okay.... lets do this- I have been going to Natural Body Spas for over two years now. The Buckhead location is the one I usually go to but I heard they were doubling thier size so I had avoided it for the past month. I went in yesterday and saw the new digs.... are you kidding me. My fav spa just became my fav place anywhere. David, the owner, said they still had a ways to go but it looked amazing! The massage and brow wax were amazing, the waiting room was more cozy, the products were beautiful... anyways I loved it enough to write a review!

This is the best spa in Atlanta. Three of us made appoinments for a Saturday two weeks ago. I had a massage and facial, a friend had a 90 minute massage and manicure, and another friend got a massage and something they call the R&R treatment. All three of us went to lunch after and RAVED about out services and therapists. Being from New York City I have been to my share of small days spas, here are a couple things that stood out about this place: the strawberries and peppermint tea before we got started were amazing, the staff having fun but staying professional, the front desk giving us $15 each in soaps after we each spent around $200, and last the amazing massages! We will be back next year! They made our Atlanta spa visit one for the books!

this spa is the only spa in atlanta that i go to. every other spa ive been too has been snooty and unorganized andd it just isnt relaxing to deal with people like that. the first thing i noticed was how NICE everyone is. i only go about once a month as a treat but they all remember me by name when i walk in. the staff seems tight knit and it overflows onto us the customers! everyone is always smiling and laughing and its such a warm welcome.
its probably the smallest spa ive been to but it absolutely works in their favor. i tend to just book my massage with whoever but its always been invigorating and amazing. theyre all very talented and knowledgeable and they arent pushy, something ive dealt with at other spas. the other natural bodys in atlanta have more products to choose from than the buckhead spa but as far as services and people go, they have their other locations beat hands down!

I had never been to a spa in my life. I got a gift certificate from Natural Body over a year ago. In order not to feel like I was throwing away money I made an appointment for an hour massage. I asked for a deep tissue, $15 more then the regular, and the front desk gal talked me into just starting with the signature massage. I like this approach: Give the customer what they need not what is more expensive. I had a signature massage and I must say it was amazing! The therapist was very informative and took me to a place of relaxation that I didn't know I could get to. I rebooked two 90 minute massages before the end of the year. This says a lot for a person who has never had a massage. I hope they live up to my first visit. I give them an A++.

Like some of the reveiws, you would never think to check this place out from the street. NBS gave me exactly what I'd expect. Just moved to Atl and had some bad experiences. Now I have a place to get a quick brow wax aound the corner. I was very pleased with Keelie, she was really careful and very professional. Warm and friendly too! Before I moved here I worked as a stylist in an Aveda salon for 3 years, so I'm always curious. The staff was cool and seemed to really gel together.

I just wanted to say Natural Body is a great spa concept, and their Buckhead location is by far the best! They may be smaller, but I have been to many spas including other Natural Body's and the Buckhead location has the nicest & most talented spa staff in Atlanta. I heard this was the Natural Body to go for a sports massage, deep tissue work, but I wouldn't know. I made an appointment 2 weeks out and they had to cancel on me because the person working called out at the last minute. Then I rescheduled only to have my appointment moved because of renovations. a friend turned me on to them after i complemented her brows and i was so happy she did. i got a brow wax and a massage.. i don't think i realized how much stress i was holding in my shoulders. the therapist turned me on to some new stretches i can do before i run and took some serious time to make sure i knew exactly how to let go of some tension. great work all around. love the digs as well. i don't know the girls name i saw but she was about 5-2 with short reddish brown hair.

This is the best place to go for R&R on a whim. Professional and friendly, this small spa really makes you feel welcomed. I couldn't help but notice that everyone from the front desk, to the therapists in the back are all very attractive. May not be on purpose but I feel like models are waxing my brows!
Definitely recommend the Buckhead location for anyone who just needs to relax.

This is by far my favorite spa I have ever been to, and I have lived in many major cities in the US. I am always treated like royalty, and the front staff knows me by name. For massage I recommend Lane, she feels like she has ten hands on you at once. For facials Kathryn has made my skin do a 180. They have a great selection of quality products and the front desk staff Franca and Brian are always friendly and helpful and make me feel like they are trying hard to get me in for an appointment. I recommend all of my friends here for an oasis in the bustling city.

In the past I have stuck to a spa on the other side of Buckhead. The spa I have given well over $1000.00 a year choose to charge my credit card after I missed an appointment.
So, I decided that I would take a friends rec and visit NB. I pulled into the Peachtree Battle Shopping Center and as I looked at the store-front I thought I might just drive home. How can a third floor tiny spa with no real advertising compete with the likes of the high dollar spas? They were the best spa I have ever been to. They totally utilize the fact they are small and they treat you like a queen. Every person was, talented, polite and caring and their was little to no product pushing. They have won me over to their side. Without a doubt this place gets my hard earned money.

I made an appointment with NB because of the reviews and their location was near my hotel. I had never had a professional massage before, but decided to treat myself to an early Christmas present. Smart move on my part, I have to say. The whole experience was very enjoyable and relaxing. I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived. Marcy was very pleasant and did an outstanding job. I will definitely return to NB when I am back in Atlanta.

I made an appointment for a massage at Natural Body Buckhead about three weeks ago after I got a rec from a friend who goes once a month for a massage. The therapist I requested had to cancel last minute like so many of these folks do in the service business. I was very dssappointed and swore I would never return. David, a front desk receptionist, called me and explained the situation and asked if I would reconsider returning with a discount. After I gave him a piece of my mind, I over-reacted, I agreed. The massage was the best I EVER had. She had hands of gold. I will go back and I thank them for their ability to turn a bad situation into a wonderful experience.
