Deliciously Formal
by Sarah C.
Fuji Hana is a great restaurant, perfect for formal occasions, or to just treat yourself. The chefs will cook your food in front of you, and make it just how you like it.I went before homecoming this past October, and it was wonderful. i ordered shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. The people i went with had steak, chicken, and fish. We traded up a bit, and all the foods were great. I don't really like fish, but it was great. It was a fun dining experience and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I like it alot!!!!!

love this restrauant. It is a lovely place to eat the only thing is that I think that the waiting service could be alittle nicier. One time I didn't get my drink until the man was almost done cooking the food . But I would recommend it very cheap and good quality food.

Awful place to eat
by notforyoutoknow
I also had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was the worse thai food I've ever had. I also found the wait staff to be rude, as I found one of them mocking me. I've never wanted to walk out more than that very moment. And if it weren't illegal to publicly harm people (and get caught in public), I would have attacked this girl for her rude behavior and disrespect for others. I've never been as outraged in my life due to a restaurant experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NEVER GOING TO THIS AWFUL RESTAURANT!
Pros: Not crowded
Cons: Rude wait staff

Overpriced, Mediocre sushi
by pkoceres
We had a terrible experience here and have not returned. Our sushi was bad and service was very slow. Not sure if they were having an off day or this was the usual, but it was off-putting. Similar to other reviewers, we had to wait a long time for drink/water refills, and the price of the sushi rolls was not equal to the quality. The eel roll I ordered had a bad taste, and the tempura was soggy. I didn't order any Thai food, so I can't comment on it, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for sushi.
Pros: parking
Cons: slow service

Great sushi and thai
by jim12345
My family and I have been coming to Fuji Hana for the last five years. The specials that Mr Sao makes me are the best I have had anywhere. Even when I make special request they accommodate me. I highly recommend them to anyone looking of a good place to eat. if you are looking for a special I recommend the red snapper.
Pros: great food good serivce
Cons: none that come to mind

Used to be Consistent Quality and Good Service
by rickd2003
Ive been eating here for about 3 years now and have to say that in all of my travels across the country (for work and pleasure) Fuji Hana is consistently one of the best places to have some good sushi. Their sashimi is always fresh, the rolls are top notch and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I personally recommend their Caliente Roll, Mamushi Boh, and Pepper Crusted Whitefish sashimi. They also have great Thai food as well and I highly recommend their Pad Thai (however Tamarind beats them for Thai, hands down) and their hibachi is excellent as well.
** Update 10/9/2007 **
Unfortunately I would have to agree with some of the more recent reviews on here. Service has gone WAY down and the fish isnt as tasty as it once was. I dont know whats happening here, but what was once my favorite place for sushi has now become the last place I will frequent. I would now rather frequent Kuroshio right down the road on Barrett Parkway (Bed Bath & Beyond shopping center) where they have gotten to know my name and where I actually met the manager and he has listened to some ideas for rolls and other things.
Its a shame to see a place that was once so good, now just fade into mediocrity.
Pros: Used to be fresh fish, large selection and some good rolls you cant get anywhere else.
Cons: Service has gone WAY downhill and servers are pushy when it comes to tips

Worst Service EVER! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT AT LEAST DECENT SERVICE!
by elizat33
Completely inept wait staff - downright RUDE - and management is nowhere to be found when the wait staff is CLEARLY RUDE -
I can't even say that it's the worst service - cuz really, there is NO service -
And this is NOT an isolated incident - it's happened over and over and over again, to more than a handful of patrons -
I'm not sure why management refuses to get organized and to hire some good people who won't drive away loyal patrons!
