Check out the pictures of the wrong flowers they sent my mom for Mother's Day

http://s860.photobucket.com/albums/ab168/TheDuBoses/?albumview=slideshow

THE PINK HOUSE SHOULD BE ASHAMED!! I recently ordered flowers from The Pink House because my mother lives in Savannah and I lived in SC. I fell in love with the Faith Hill Mother's Day Collection. They were a carrier of this collection so I chose them. I specifically made certain when I was ordering to NOT have any substitutions yet the substitution was STILL MADE The flowers that were SUBSTITUTED (see link ) looked NOTHING LIKE the Faith Hill collection (see link) . The Pink House should be ASHAMED of themselves...Secondly they said they would choose a balloon that fits the theme of Mother's Day.. I am expecting something like I love you or Happy Mother's Day.My mother gets You are My Sunshine ;..cute but not on par a Mother's Day Theme. This is not a get well celebration. I paid a total of $67.35 for this crap they sent. If you couldn't deliver it on the day then at least call and say it will be a few days later. I would have understood instead of sending something that looks ARTIFICIAL AND THOUGHTLESS.

More fuel to the fire
1. On Monday, when I called and spoke to the manager BETTY. I specifically asked when would the new flowers arrived. She said by Wednesday. I said could you please give me a call to let me know they arrived and she said yes.

2. On Wednesday, my mom calls me to tell me that she has to bring the OLD flowers back because the florist had called to say that they needed the old ones before she could get the new ones. It would have been nice if the manager had mentioned this on the PHONE so that my mom could have just KEPT them at work (she had taken them home).

3. The flowers never arrive on Thursday. I call on Friday and BETTY the manager says "yeah, I talked to your mom and told her to bring back the flowers and then we would get the new flowers to her". I reply "yes, my mom said the same";. However in my conversation with you on Monday, you stipulated that the new flowers would be delivered by WED and it is now Friday. You also never mentioned that my mother had to return the old flowers either. (it would have been nice to know on Monday so I could have told me mother that and she could have saved hassle of bringing them back).

4. BETTY replies, "I never told you it would be there by Wednesday". I said "I specifically asked you when the flowers would be delivered and you said Wednesday"Did I just pull Wednesday out of my behind?

5. She says in an exasperated voice "are we going have this conversation ALL day". Either we can deliver the flowers or you can get a refund." At this point, I am appalled that this business is still around. I say give me my refund and she hangs up in my face. No apologies are anything..

Then when I called back to confirm my refund, she actually LIES and says she didn't hang up the phone

This experience has been the WORST customer service experience in my LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE LOCATION..GO TO ANOTHER PLACE..PLEASE!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THEM- PLEASE READ THIS DISASTER?? - ??
I had a destination wedding in Savannah this month and their service was terrible. First, Betty (the owner) gives me quote over the phone for some lilies and when I go to the store to place the order, the florist tells me that they are twice the price. I agree to buy them anyway because they were the main flower for the bouquets and arrangements I was planning on making for my wedding. I made it clear to the florist that I DID NOT want white flowers and no roses were to be used for anything. I also specified that the flower girl basket should not be white (it was written down in the contract). Then a few days after signing the contract, Betty calls to tell me that they misquoted the hydrangeas and they were more than twice the price of what the contract said. I reduced my order in half and we proceeded. Three days before the wedding my fiance goes to pick up the flowers and the lilies were closed. The florist tells him to cut the stems and put them in water and they should open before our Sunday morning wedding. Day before the wedding we had a lot of things to do and I sent a friend to pick up the boutonniers. She sends me a picture and they had used the biggest roses I've ever seen to make the boutonniers. It took numerous phone calls to get them to pick them up and fix them. They eventually did (I'll give them credit for that). Day of the wedding, the lilies were STILL not open. We had to improvise to make the bouquets. To top it all off, when I finally saw the flower girl basket, it was white. We went to the store on Tuesday after the wedding with the still unopened lilies and Betty wasn't in the store but over the phone she told us she couldn't do anything because the event had already passed. After letting her know that we did what the florist instructed us to do and the flowers had still not opened, she said she is not responsible for what the florist says and that it is not her responsibility to train her employees nor her customers on how to take care of the flowers. It was just plain rude and she was not at all concerned about her very dissatisfied customer. STAY AWAY.

NEVER AGAIN! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS FLORIST. This place has the worst service EVER! I was the bridesmaid for my BFFs wedding Nd these people messed up the entire flower order. $400 worth of money down the drain. We said no roses n no white and they gave us white roses for the boutoniers. We asked for lilies and we picked them up Friday, wedding was Sunday n the lilies never opened. Some of the flowers were dead upon pick up as well. We returned the lilies n asked for a refund n never gave it to us. THE PLACE IS DIRTY N UNORGANIZED! Poor customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! I had the misfortune of picking this florist for my wedding and despite having made 2 visits to speak with the floral designer Steven and sent Betty the owner emails depicting exactly what I wanted AND calling the week of my wedding to confirm my order, they got EVERYTHING I requested wrong!!! The color of the flowers in my bouquet were wrong, the ribbon on my bouquet and the MOH bouquet was not the color I requested and was told that the "designer" made a call to change it but never thought to call and consult the bride (really!?!), the ribbon on my bouquet was frayed they literally cut a piece of ribbon and tacked it on to cover the seam but didn't fold the edges to cover the fraying (a kindergartner could have done it better); the style of the arrangement was not what I requested and I even set them pictures of EXACTLY how I wanted it to look and they STILL got it wrong; I asked for purple and white flower pedals and got cream and no purple; I ordered 25ft of flower pedals and barely had 5ft and they didn't even pull all the pedals I had 5 rose heads in the bag; I requested crystals on the roses in my bouquet and 2 roses didn't have them, the ones that did have crystals on them still had glue hanging off of them; I can go on and on about how they completely ruined the floral element of my wedding but think this should be enough information to any bride to be or even someone hoping to get a bouquet to a friend or family member to NOT use this florist. Also, I called the day of my wedding and was told there was nothing that could be done to fix the problem b/c the owner was on vacation and despite trying to reach Betty multiple times by phone & email to resolve the situation and she chooses to ignore me...Betty you're a fool!!! I can only hope that this review will prevent anyone else from wasting their money and ruining their special day with the garbage that they call floral arrangements. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A FLORIST!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THEM. Oh, and the only reason there is one star is because you have to put something...

I ordered a Teleflora arrangement for my mother-in-law. I have used this florist in the past and was satisfied, and they are literally down the street from my in-law's home. I called directly so that i could make a few changes. I requested they NOT use the Lenox bowl and instead substitute more Christmas greenery and a few extra flowers. I was assured that it would be no problem at all. In thanking me, my Mom-in-law sent an email picture and I was dismayed to see an unattractive, sparse arrangement in the Lenox bowl with tacky red candles (the Teleflora ad used gold candles to compliment the gold accents on the Lenox bowl). I visited a week later and the roses were all but gone, and she had added some red mini-carnations she had purchased to fill it out! I am so incensed that there is really no point in contacting the Pink House Florist--they obviously don't care or that would never have been allowed out the door. They wouldn't give me my money back and I certainly don't want more of their ""product"". All I can do is caution others to perhaps look elsewhere.

Pros: they delivered when scheduled

Cons: special instructions not followed, ugly arrangement

DO NOT USE Pink House Florist! I have NEVER written a negative review online before but felt I needed to say something about this florist. \r\n\r\nI am an event planner/fundraiser in Chicago and had my wedding in Savannah, GA on June 20, 2009. I met with Pink House staff in January 2009 and called them multiple times about my order. I had to seek out getting a contract signed with them and had a very difficult time getting helpful service when calling. \r\n\r\nMy deposit was due two weeks in advance and I called them to pay, only to find out the staff did not have an accurate record of the flowers I'd ordered and they had to update the contract and call me back. I did not receive a call about the payment so assumed I would pay when I arrived. \r\n\r\nWhen I arrived in Savannah I called to make the full payment and was told the flowers I ordered weren't in season. Not in season??? I believe it's not too much to ask that a FLORIST know if and when the flowers I've ordered will be in season or not - and to tell me that when I've met with them SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE so I'd have time to redesign the decor for my reception. \r\n\r\nOn top of this, THEY DOUBLED THE PRICE THEY QUOTED ME. Let me repeat that. DOUBLED. My parents went in on my behalf to handle the situation and were met with an extremely snotty response by Bill, one of the employees there. I then showed up separately at the store and told them I was very upset that they had misrepresented what they could get AND doubled the price. In no more than 90 seconds, another associate (Jeannie), blamed the situation on:\r\n\r\n1. I didn't pay the deposit on time (see reason above and how this affects when flowers are in season is beyond me).\r\n2. She HAD called me but didn't leave me a message because she figured I ""was getting enough voice messages from other people before the wedding"" (yet somehow I was supposed to know she had tried to call me).\r\n3. The flowers WERE actually in season but were dead upon arrival.\r\n4. The SECOND shipment of flowers were also dead upon arrival and each shipment costs them $50.\r\n5. The economy is bad.\r\n\r\nBelieve me, I'm just as confused as you may be reading that list of excuses. I am writing this coming not just from the point of view of being the bride, but from having planned many different types of events, working with a large array of vendors, and knowing how to get deposits in, contracts signed, and advance planning accomplished. For such an important event like a wedding, please make sure you can rest easy and do NOT use Pink House Florist. \r\n\r\nI am happy to say that with the aid of John Wolf Florist in Savannah and a flower wholesaler, we were able to assemble makeshift arrangements, a bouquet and bouts, etc. \r\n\r\nPlease, please, please do yourself the best wedding favor you can and DO NOT USE PINK HOUSE FLORIST.
