I recently dined at the New York Pizza Exchange and I am forever a customer. The Pizza was the closest that I have had since Brooklyn. The Pasta however really took me away. I tried the vegetable lasagna that was on special, and it really just blew my mind. Fresh, light, and the most amazing combination of flavors possible. The location, the ambiance and the delicious food will keep me forever a loyal customer.

I thought the pizza here was just OK. But their salads and pasta dishes are really good choices. The prices aren't bad either, good value. Try the lasagna

Great pizza delivered or eat in. It's fun to go on Fri. nights, sit outside and listen to a guitar player and watch the trains go by. Their salads are also fantastic. The Greek is served on pizza dough.

NY Pizza is located near the quaint Vinings Village. It has its typical decor, however, the pizza is the best. If you like pineapple and ham pizza on a thick crust, you will have to go there. They serve it on a raised stand. Service is excellent as well. It's worth the trip.

Not only does this restaurant have great pizza, but it also has great Italian food in general. The portions are huge, and the service is always fast and friendly. Avoid it on a Friday or Saturday night, though, because it will be crazy busy!

We bought 10 boxes of pizza from New York Pizza Exchange for my grandson's birthday party. They had good pizzas and they have varieties to choose from. It was a great pizza party and the kids all said that it was so good. We bought so much that we still has like 3 boxes left. Try their pizza when you get a chance. They are different from any ordinary pizzas and you will surely love it.

The pizza is very good here, much better than any big chain. I've only ever had it delivered, and it doesn't take too long. The slices are huge, so the pizzas are huge as well. It is a bit more expensive than the average, but well worth it.

extremely greasy.
cheese was hard & stale.

probably one of the worst i'd ever had.
the cannolis were definitely THE worst.

If theres one thing I know...it's pizza. Ive had Geno's in Chicago and Jimmy's in NY...and this is right up there. The sauce is the robust and their crust is light and crispy. Not in the mood for pizza? No worries here. Their pastas are authentic and the heroes are on par with Quizno's! Even their small pizza is huge! Ive probably dined there 20 times over the past 3 years. Ive tried em all and I wont even consider another pizza place. Great place to meet your friends or bring your family. Their service was friendly and prompt and they were awesome interacting with my kids. 5 stars. Ive already got my buddies hooked on it! If youve never been there (or havent been in awhile) I highly recommend stopping by...

Pros: Food, Service, Ambience, Child Friendly

Cons: None

as the previous reviewer mentioned, it's a nice place to bring kids (there are a lot of families there...) Service was a bit slow, but pleasant. Initially, we sent back the pizza it looked a bit undercooked/soggy. It came back (a long while later), looking golden and crisp, albeit a bit greasy. All in all, it's a nice, family-friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and the pizza - while not great - is decent.

Pros: relaxed, no rushing, atmosphere, good for kids

Cons: slow service, undercooked pizza (but that can be fixed if you request it)

We recently discovered this place and it has become our favorite pizza restaurant. The kids love it because it sits right next to the train tracks and they can wave to the train engineer. The pizza is very good, especially the white pizza. The staff is very friendly and there is a nice, casual atmosphere. There is a very nice patio outside and there are televisions everywhere. The manager came over to say hi and I mentioned to him that we lived in Buckhead and it was too bad they didn't have a location there. He said the owner was interested in expanding to that area. I asked him if they delivered outside of the Vinings area and he stated they deliver pretty much anywhere in the Atlanta area.

This restaurant is not the same since the Cohen's sold in January. Prices have drastically increased, quality has decreased and customer service is almost non-existant. I have been a loyal customer (both personally and professionally) for over 10 years and NEVER had an issue until this year. I've found another source. I'm done!

IF YOU WANT THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!!!!! I am from out of town and ordered to my hotel room because i myself love NY pizza and from reading the other reviews, this place is a mistake to patron. After giving the room number AND my last name the pizza came but I never got it. For some reason or another they did not deliver promptly and after calling back after an hour, they refused to give any kind of compensation for the mistake on their part. I myself am in the customer service business and never have heard of such a thing. If you are hungry and are in the Atlanta area, call St. Angelo's or Da Vinci's! They know how to make a pizza and treat their customers right.

I work in one of the buildings across the street and we decided to have a company lunch at their establishment. I agree with the last review. That IS NOT a NY style pizza. It tastes very cheap and the bill was out of this world. With the 6 of us drinks and pizza the average cost was about $11. I am not going back.

The first thing my wife and I notice is the owner berating our server in front of the entire restaurant. He humiliated her almost to the point of tears. We had already ordered or we would have left. Our server said it was commonplace and pointed out the semi-permanent help wanted sign. When the pizza arrived it was soggy. I'm from Brooklyn and I take offense that they would call this "New York" style pizza. The only thing it comes close to being "New York" style is the price. Thumbs way down! If you want a good pie go to Fellini's

I've eaten here a few times and have always had great service and food. A milion times better than St. Angelos. If you want real pizza come here. It's a little more pricer, but well worth it. You can order the crust any way you want it. Overall I am impressed and this is one of the few places in Atlanta that can get pizza right.

The pizza is great . The crust is really thin so even if you are watching carbs you can enjoy a slice.

I'm well acquainted with Fellini's, Mellow Mushroom, and numerous other pizza places around town. Though Fellini's sometimes comes close, NYPE is my clear favorite. The uncannily light and chewy crust is terrific, and the toppings are fresh and generous. Plus, they have a range of unique creations (Mexican, PB&J, etc.) that really set them apart. Im fortunate to live within delivery range, but Ive eaten on site multiple times and found the service friendly and competent and the atmosphere inviting.

My personal favorite is the white pizza (truly white, with a garlic cheese sauce instead of tomato) with chicken and broccoli. Just dont expect anyone to talk to you for a while. Other favorites include the surprisingly good but pricy Cajun chicken fettuccine alfredo, the Chickenboli (with huge sun-dried tomatoes), and excellent calzones. Desserts are good, but if youre eating there I second the recommendation to hit Ben & Jerrys.

This restaurant is a fun place to sit outside in the summer, but even in the winter their pizza is worth coming for. Also resommended are their huge salads that come served on pizza crust.

NY Pizza is a great place to go with family or friends. The food is excellent, the service is unobtrusive and attentive, the entertainment (whether live music or trivia) is a blast, and the atmosphere is awesome. I have a great time here and love to bring my friends and family along for a great night of relaxing dining and camaraderie.

Went here on Friday night and we had a great time. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside and enjoyed the great patio. Then the trains started coming by and that was pretty cool...the patio is right on the tracks. The pizza was really good...the crust is very good. We got some extra pizza sauce, which I would recommend. In addition, they had some live music that was really pretty solid. I would say this is one of the cooler places to go on the weekend for a relaxed evening out... OH, and hit the Ben and Jerry's afterwards, but bring cash, they don't accept debit or credit cards!

This is a great place to go for pizza in a casual atmosphere--especially on the weekends when they have a guy playing music out on the patio. He's really worth seeing! The pizza is wonderful, but try some of the other items on the menu also. The grilled chicken caesar salad is tops!!!

Save for the glossy brick-and-glass sheen of the service island --and of course the bar --the decor is strongly reminiscent of the place where all the kids used to hang out on "Saved by the Bell." The bill of fare runs to flavorful pies, dependable pasta and solid sandwiches. Oddly enough, pizza by the slice seems to be of a lower quality than if you order a whole pie, and advertising some of the dishes as "New York" style seems disingenuous at best. Still, a premium on comfort and serviceable, filling dishes makes this Exchange a good go-to destination.

Inside the Exchange, calzones, strombolis and pies emerge from stainless steel ovens that sit behind a huge glass and brick service island. Outside, a magnolia-shaded patio offers a cool setting. It's the perfect spot…
