On Saturday 1/31/2015 our baby girl Jewelz a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix was hit by a car. So naturally we rushed her to the vet to get checked out to make sure she was fine. When we arrived to the vet they took an x-ray to see if she had any broken bones. Thankfully she had no fractures but she did have some bruising to her underbelly. When we noticed the bruising we asked the vet if she had any internal injuries. When we asked the vet about internal bleeding he looked as though we were offending him by questioning his diagnostics. In any case he assured us that everything was ok and that she will only be uncomfortable for a while. They gave her a shot for the pain and some medication to go home with. They also kept her for an hour for observation then they released her to us.

When we got home we tried to make Jewelz as comfortable as possible. We put her in the play pen with some cushions and blankets. We gave her water through a baby bottle and tried to feed her, her favorite treats. After a few hours of lying in the play pen she had a bowel movement that had traces of blood in it. A sign of internal injury. By the end of the night our baby girl Jewelz died.

Jewelz has been a part of our family since 2009. Not once have we heard her cry in pain. She was a loved very well kept dog. The pain that our baby was in for the last hours of her life were unbearable. If the vet took the time to thoroughly examine her or suggest another facility where we could have taken her for better observation I feel as though she would still be here with us. And if they told us that there was nothing that could have been done to save her we would have had them humanely put her down instead of having her go through the pain that she went through during her final hours of life.

After Jewelz passed on Monday 2/2/2015 I went back to the vet to let them know that she didn't make it and that I felt as though they were negligent in properly diagnosing my baby's injuries. I asked for a refund of the bill that we paid on Saturday totaling a little over $277.00. The vet looked me in my eyes and told me he wouldn't refund me the total amount because that would be admitting guilt. He refunded me the cost of the medication. At that point I pulled my other dogs records and told them that I will no longer need their services.

This whole ordeal has been a nightmare. But we will use it a learning experience. Take the time to investigate the hands you put the lives of your loved ones in.

Rude on the phone and rude when you come in. Place also smells REALLY bad. If you live in this area, you might as well make the journey to downtown Atlanta and find a nicer Vet's office there.

Although I have never met this vet, or had any dealings with him, I would just like to give a big shot-out to Dr. Waggoner for accepting and treating wildlife.

I have used this Vet for YEARS, at least 5 years. I bring my dog, a Min Pin and our cat, before we gave him to a friend about a year ago. They have always been attentive and eager to discuss options in service and the best possible care

We are the proud grandparents of a mixed lab dog and an orange tabby cat. The vet in Forsyth County was killing us with outrageous charge$ for routine care. We were told that each pet needed a tooth extracted and that it would be $410.00

We have taken our cat to this vet for sometime now, for shots and an ear infection.
Over the years we keep taking him back for the infection and after $100 later each visit they have not given us anything that has helped out cats ear

My dog got sick during the few days she was boarded, but the vet was quick to acknowledge that it was the fault of their kennel. He gave treatments for free, but even though we continue to use this vet....we NEVER went back to board. I

Everyone that works here is very nice & helpful. No appointments, except for boarding - a must. Pricing is very reasonable. Have & would recommend to pet people.

We took our dog, Scottie, here for his annual shots and check up. Everyone in the clinic were very nice to us and to Scottie. They seemed to know what they were doing. Recommend.

Back in 2001-2002, I used to take four dogs to this Vet. and never had a problem. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I even had a spell where I just could afford the medication for my German Shepherd and the Vet. gave me the pills and ointment at no cost. To me, that is not a Vet that couldn't be bothered, rather he was looking out for my dog's best interest. Not to say that the staff may have changed since then, but I had no complaints in the past.

As of 2003, I've moved to Cherokee County and use East Marietta Animal Hospital. Dr. Diaz is the best! He treats my pet as if it was his own. And he too has helped me out in times of need. I did come back and pay for the medication at a later date, but I couldn't recommend a better Doctor for your pets.

Pros: Now I know not to ever take my dog here again for boarding!

Cons: Just about everything.

Had no complaints about treatment of the animals, and the staff were nice and the male doctor actually seemed to care about my pets. However, they do need to update/upgrade their buliding because it is very old and run down, even a bright fresh coat of paint would help.

I have used Stockbridge Veterinary Hospital a couple of years ago. I had no complaints, really. Just didn't get a good feeling. So I haven't been back with my pets. It seems the prices were pretty high, also.
