We were very pleased with our wedding and reception, which was hosted by the Savannah Beach Inn bed and breakfast. The innkeepers, Ann Last and Craig Markowski were easy to work with. They provided chairs for my 50 guests, flowers, an archway, bouquets, boutonni?res, unity sand ceremony, photography, an awesome officiant, and they did all the setup. All we had to do was show up with our marriage license! It was very romantic and it took the planning pressure off of my shoulders.

After the wedding and reception, we stayed in the Marshall Suite on the top floor of the inn. We loved the room because it had a mini kitchen, a sitting area, a private bath, an extra bunk bed room for kids, and a view of the ocean through the large bay window. The restorations done to the house made it very modern while retaining its old southern charm.

At breakfast time, we couldn?t wait to get downstairs to chat around the kitchen at the counter top! It felt like family. On our last day, I wanted a crab omelet, which was not on the menu that day, but I got one because the staff was very accommodating. They even sent it upstairs on a tray because I was running late getting packed for the airport.

2 days after we got home, we received our wedding photos and DVD. Sylvanna, craig?s wife, is a entertainer from Tahiti and we used one of her songs for the background music of the footage. My husband loved the Polynesian flavour that her vocals added to our wedding video since he is of Hawaiian decent. Craig put a lot of extra time and energy into our video and we were thrilled with it!

We are already talking about our next visit to Tybee Island and the Savannah Beach Inn Bed and Breakfast.

We had a great romantic getaway at Savannah Beach Inn where the innkeepers, Ann Last and Craig Markowski made this an unforgettable romantic event. My husband, on leave from the Iraq and I were overwhelmed with the great hospitality and the gourmet food.

Not only did Craig cook some great gourmet breakfasts while busily booking reservations and making sure all the guests were happy, He kept us fully entertained with his legends and lore about Savannah and coastal islands along with sharing his extensive career travel adventures in the Alaska frontier and as a yacht captain doing sailing cruises in the Virgin Islands with his company, Pirate Charters Of The Caribbean during the winter time.

With the books that his written like ?Key West to Alaska? and ?Trading Wall St For St John USVI, we wouldn?t be surprised to see him on the best seller lists sometime soon.

Not to be outdone by her son, Ann has partnered up with a great wedding planner; Nancy Hillis, famous from the ?Midnight Garden of Good and Evil?, to create, produce and host nearly a hundred weddings a year for the ?Rich and Famous?, celebrities, the common folk and maybe even a few who border on the infamous or reclusive!

This is a ?Must See? experience for everyone if not for the Bananas Foster French Toast or the complimentary dolphin cruise, then the homemade cookies every evening like the double chocolate, chocolate chip cookies.

My first visit to Tybee and I wanted to stay at a B&B. I did my research and found this inn. It was well worth the time and effort during discovery.

The staff is so very friendly, breakfast everyday prepared just how we liked it. The Wine and cheese daily was so much fun; that's where we got to meet the other visitors. Brownies, Cookies, movies all so wonderful.

The staff is very polite, friendly and so much fun! We had some great laughs with them. Very clean, quiet and private. Just the ticket we needed from our escape of the fast pace of Atlanta. A gentle walk to the beach and we could rest and play in the sand. A true pleasue to stay here. Thank you, to all the staff at the Inn who went out of their way to make use feel welcome. We will be back!

The Savannah Beach Inn was not worth the price. My wife and I have stayed all over the world and were shocked when we arrived. We had to request that the linens be changed before we were able to go to sleep. The place hinted of mildew and there were Christmas decorations taped up in May. Judging by the dust I don't think they were put out to celebrate Christmas in July. It's also too bad that the innkeeper isn't more friendly because with a little TLC the house could be a nice place to stay.
