I know I am not supposed to do this as an employee, but please do not eat here. If you saw the kitchen it would make you sick to your stomach. I understand that in the interest of being cheap (and they are cheap) and spending as little

I have been there a few times, and I don't understand the raves.

They are fine for a slice and soda for lunch, but that's about it. No atmosphere, the food is just okay. Not bad, but not good.

We like to order pizza on the weekends, but sometimes have problems deciding who gets to choose the toppings. Bella's solves that problem by offering pizza by the slice. We love this option because we all get our favorites. We also like the lasagna, gyro wraps & calzones too. We've never actually dined in at Bella's - always get it to go or delivered.

What can I say since leaving New York 10 years ago I have not been able to find any pizza, salad or pastas come close to being good.

Nice place to watch sports games.

Bella's has great calzones, salads, clams and of course pizza.
It will remind you of Cheers where everybody knows your name.
You can relax in a comfortable atmosphere and enjoy great food and drinks.
Kids love this place, not only for the food, but for the fun.
You won't be disappointed.

This pizza is great! I love the new menu items with the pizza's with all the toppings. I was appauled about the last review with it being a frozen pizza. I asked the manager on my last visit and they assured me they are not frozen, they even make their own pizza dough and sauce from scratch. The reason you cannot change toppings on the 'specialty' pizza's, is because they are just that. They prepare the toppings ahead of time and then just add them to the pizzas as they are made. The way the manager explained it to me is that It would be very time consuming to add all those toppings one at a time. They are the same toppings, just all mixed ahead of time. I'm just thankful that they put all those toppings on for a lower price then if I put them on there all individually. I don't think I have ever gotten a pizza from Kroger that tasted this good, come to think of it, I don't think I've ever bought a frozen pizza from Kroger, I perfer fresh handmade pizza.... I'll be back again and again.

Thanks Bella's for making a great pizza at a great price! Keep up the great food!

This is one of the all time lows as far as pizza eating. They were not accommodating at all as far as toppings go. They couldn't do half cheese/ half veggie or substitute toppings. Who has heard of not being able to do that?! When we finally got our pizza, I realized why. They are serving premade frozen pizzas here that they stick in the oven! I might as well have gotten a kroger brand pizza. No flavor. Go down the street to st angelos or blue moon for far better pizza and service.

I have tried Bella's several times, eating in and picking up. Their pizza crust is so thin that it's soggy. Yuck, I can't stand soggy pizza crust. I have tried a salad there and it was good. Hard to find parking and also very hard to get out of the parking lot.

I relocated to Atlanta from New York. One of the hardest things to do was find good food. Bella's was initially a recommendation by a few of my friends from Queens. I was a little leary due to the fact that a couple of weeks prior they referred me to Mellow Mushroom for a calzone. It was the absolute worst. It looked like a giant airline pillow as opposed to a half moon.

Bella's sauteed my vegetables to perfection. The pizza is thin and crispy. The crust is the absolute best. If you are getting together with a group of friends during the week for a night cap they offer half price specials. The staff has an upbeat attitide Stick is the best server. I wouldnt recommend it for little kids due to the bar atmosphere.

Great pizza!! Convienent and near to where i live. They dont deliver and that is unfortunant but the pizza is so good that it is worth it to go pick up a pie! Pizza quality fluctuates but 97% of the times I have been, (i have been eating there since 2004) the pizzas have been near perfect. Parmesean chicken on the large cheese is a really good choice. Atmosphere is more like a bar than a restaurant. Taking young children may not be a WONDERFUL idea because there are beer signs everywhere and the bar takes up half the restaurant. Teenagers and young adults might enjoy it more, but that doesnt leave out the middle aged as they also enjoy a great pizza every once in a while. Great choice for good pizza!

Beth and i were seated promptly and were impressed with the large menu. However we were looking for good pizza and we read that this place had it. It's really a sports bar atmosphere and not a pizzeria. The crust was mushy boring and greasy. pretty tasteless in fact. We don't 'understand how this could be called great or even good pizza. The sauce was mediocre and the garlic was stale. The sauteed veggies on top made it even more greasy. The sausage was sliced, as if it came from a roll. No spice to it. Large pizza was not even good enough to take the left overs home. Now you know how bad it was

I used to live nearby and come all the time. I've been back frequently since then. Their quality and service have remained the same; highly recommended! This is really great pizza. But don't miss the garlic knots or stomach filling calzones.
I don't understand our crazy atlanta neighbors who seem to be having a running argument about whether it's real NY pizza or the greatest in Atlanta. Ignore them. I do. It's casual, good for kids, good for a group after work, good for showing date that you're not trying too hard to impress. Come be yourself.
Beware of parking. It's often a nightmare.

The Bellas in Austell has the best pizza and service anywhere around the area. We use to go to Outback, but the service is so bad, that we went into the Bella's across from it one night, and had the best pizza ever, and the service kicked Outbacks behind. Our server Martha was very friendly and when the manager found out this was our first time visiting, he sent out an order of garlic knots for us to try. We have gone back 3x since then and every time the service and food has been great.

My boyfriend and I are die-hard pizza eaters, and we fell in love with the Bellas in Vinings a year ago. The pizza is the best in town, but we have since changed to their Austell location because we live closer to it, and best of all, it has better pizza and much better service than the one located in Vinings. Either location will serve you the best pizza in town, but service wise, the Austell location does a much better job, and their servers and managers seem to be much happier at the Austell location than the Vinings location. The owners daughter, who told us she was 9, came out a gave us freshly made chocolate chip cookies, and thanked us for coming in. What a great place!

I agree with the other reviewers that Bellas can get pretty crowded. On the weekends we go after 8:00 to avoid the large crowds and kids running all over the place. The thin pizza is a little greasy but very good. The salads are large and could be a meal on their own. The garlic knots are to die for--hot little rolls swimming in a sea of oil and garlic! There is a large room in the back that can be reserved for big groups. The service is average.

I agree about the service and quality...not a slam just experience. We stopped by Friday because our usual pizza joint was crowded and the wait was too long (they have growth issues...not mentioning any names 'cuz we love the place) so we headed to Bellas...my foodie friends understand. Regardless, Bellas was weak...long wait...decent food...quality of the "regulars" was not what we were expecting. It seemed like a bar. Lots of sound, music, tv, is cool but the food was 30 minutes to the table and when we got it the slices lacked taste. Good crust but overall the wait ruined it. We didn't make a stink of it with the manager. As for the atmospere, the posters, and the overall feel it just seemed that they should call themselves a sports bar...not a pizzeria. It was just "barfood." Three Dollar Cafe put out better food and service in their day.

Great pizza, horrible service. Add atleast 1/2 hour on to whatever time they give you! I was told 30 minutes, gave them 40, and still had to wait 20 MORE minutes!!! Something like this happens EVERYTIME!!!!! Horrible horrible service. Order before you're hungry.

This joint has the best pizza but really needs help on how to make a good salad. The competiots make a better sald but are no match for to the quality of the pizza. Lately, I ahve noticed a drop in the service as well. Some members of the new wait staff are not attentive.

Mario and his partner have done a great job in bringing authentic NY pizza to the ATL. I know, I am from NY and this is the only place in town I will buy pizza. Lucky for me I can walk there from home! Thin, crispy and just the right amount of cheese cooked to perfection. They will even grant the occasional request to make it a bit thinner (for those diet times)....

This born and bred NE Yankee knows that Bella's is the closest thing to NY and Northend Boston pizza for 1000 miles. For 5.5 years in the South, I found nothing but pathetic thick crusted cardboard pies with ketchup for sauce, blech cheese, and freeze dried ingredients. Then I found Bella's! If you want fu-fu shushy CA cardboard or junky Southern attempts at pizza, go elsewhere. Bella's caters to those looking for a true NY pizza experience. Excellent pizza, real NY ownership, a little NY attitude, and zero pretention. At Bella's, I forget that I am below the Mason-Dixie line. The pizza is expensive for Atlanta, but it is worth it and they put out coupons sometimes. They also sell by the slice as a true pizza place should. If you want 2 pizzas for $9.00, then go to Dominos and eat old cardboard ;).

You will not find a better pizza in the Atlanta area. All other pizzerias dont even come close to the excellent taste of this pizza

Pros: Owners, Great Value

.

This is the best pizza I've had since I went to grad school at Columbia! The pizza slices are the size of elephant ears, the service is terrific & friendly, the beer selection is good, and the prices are very good. It's well worth the drive.

Hands down, Bella's serves the best pizza suburban Atlanta has to offer. Traditional to it's New York roots, Bella's pies are thin crusted with the perfect crispness. An impeccable blend of cheese, sauce, and spices will keep you coming back for more and the likes of Pizza Hut, Johnny's, Fellinis, Mellow Mushroom and Papa Johns will be memories. More than pizza, the menu provides a variety of Italian dishes for those seeking diversification. Family oriented and a true value make Bella's top notch.

The second worst dining experience of my life. And I certainly wasn't expecting much from this strip-mall fare! But they failed on every level of dining. Dreadful food, bad attitudes.

Cook yourself up a frozen pizza and save your money.

The quest for good Italian in Vinings continues...

Great NY Pizza and better dinners. Family friendly atmosphere, sports on 4 tv's and classical rock music makes this a great place to eat and stay. Get to know the regulars and become one yourself. It feels like family dinner time when I lived in NY. We've been eating here since they opened and it just keeps getting better.

This pizza is awesome, however it is better if you get it by the pie rather than the slice. The crust is tasty and crisp and the seasonings are great...very authentic Italian. No fanfare and you service yourself for the most part...get your own drink, silver ware, napkins. The atmosphere is very casual. Great for take-out!
