I know. or think, this is a Buckhead Life restaurant, but it doesn't live up to that standard for me. It's very expensive for what it is--Mediterranean.

Kyma lives up to the Mediterranean standards of its contemporaries: fresh olive oil, tender meat, and authentic, lively service.

If spending $30+ per person at a Mediterranean restaraunt seems strange to you, you're not alone. Most Greek, Lebanese, and other Mediterranean dishes rarely eclipse $15 a person, even with alcohol; great food for a low price is one of the reason many of us love Mediterranean food.

Paying that kind of cash for hummus, lamb, and baklava is outlandish, and while Kyma delivers, it's questionable whether or not it's worth the cash when so many more affordable restaraunts like Nicola's near Emory University's Campus keep up for almost half the price.

PROS: Great ambience, swanky interior decor, great Buckhead locale
CONS: Scores of comparable Mediterranean places exist for a fraction of the price

This is a greek restaurant and is also onve of the Buckhead life restaurants. It is very expensive. The food is excellent. They have the best seafood in town, highly recommend the whole fish. Make sure you bring your appetitite and your wallet.
