They only got one star because it won't let me submit zero stars. I recently bought a brand new 4runner from Cobb County Toyota. I took it home on a Friday and brought it back on Saturday morning for the salesman to walk my wife through all of the features. When I arrived, the salesman informed me that they forgot to tell me the car was damaged but their Sales Manager, Joel, and General Manager, George would make it right. I wasn't too excited to find out that I was sold a car with 7 miles that had damage they forgot to mention. Joel and George tell me they'll make it right and bring the car back on Thursday because they have two people that will both be in and they can tell me what my options are. I come back Thursday only to find out that my brand new car is going to need to have the hood and quarter panel repainted. George also had the nerve to tell me they would have swapped the car out on Saturday if I would have asked. The only reason i didn't blow up on Saturday was they told me they would make it right. Their version of right is selling a brand new car with damage and not disclosing it which I'm pretty sure is illegal. When I told them that I didn't want that car, they told me it was titled to me and I just need to get over it. Also, they won't tell me who the owner or district manager are for that dealership. You would think you wouldn't hide that information unless you weren't operating on the up and up.

The salesman told me that I was purchasing a car that was Toyota Certified. After a 8 months I found there was body damage to the car. I called the dealership where Jonah told me that it was toyota certified. When I went in to have them inspect it the manager said it was not. I went back to Jonah and he said no it was and he told me it was. When the manager said it was Toyota Gold certified and not just Toyota Certified, Jonah said oh well I was new and did not know the difference. HUGE MISTAKE!! VERY DIFFERENT THINGS! I did not know this. I was assured they where the same. When I asked him to please make amends they only offered to buy back my car for a low price or sell me a new car. I said I just want you to make this right as now I have a vehicle with an accident and I didnt know about it as it is not on the car fax. And they did not disclose that to me when i purchased the car. The manager took Jonah away, and when they came back I asked them to admit that they had just made a mistake and they refused. Saying they "didn't recall any such conversation." My father was there and can be a witness. Jonah said several times, I thought it was certified and I told her it was and then later came back and said he didn't remember saying this just 20 minutes earlier. They now refuse to do anything to help me. PLEASE HELP!! I just want this issue resolved and this is terrible business practice. When I asked again for them to admit they made a mistake, the manager said, "we don't admit to making mistakes." I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and Toyota. I understand that I got a deal on this car. I love my car, but I have found out this information that changes the situation. I don't know what I can do to get this resolved.

Made a deal with the sales manager (Rob) over the phone. Came in that night to get the car. Figures on paperwork were all wrong. After arguing with me about them for a while, he gave in. 1 hour later he calls me and my wife over to his "super secret magical counter" to tell me that the numbers don't work, the deal can't be done, and literally told us "I didn't want to do this deal anyway, so y'all can just go home". Later it was admitted by the general manager that the sales manager (Rob) had made a mistake when accepting my offer, and they just couldn't make it happen.
To make a very long story short, a lot of time was wasted, there was a huge heated argument in the dealership showroom, and everybody left upset. Between my wife and I, and our immediate family, 4 cars have been purchased from this dealership in the last 5 years. The sales manager was rude and very disrespectful and never again will I or any of our family members visit Cobb County Toyota (all because of the sales manager Rob).

Don't buy the extended Warranty!!!
I bought a Certified PreOwned Toyota Sequoia. I was sold a a 6 year 100k warranty. When I got close to the 100k mark my Trac/VSC light came on. Long story short The warranty started on the year Jan1 of the Manufacture year even though the care was Manufactured In August. So the Warranty actually started 7 months before the SUV came off the assembly line.....not to mention 3 years before I bought the vehicle so something sold as 6 year warranty was acctually a 2 year warranty.....READ THE FINE PRINT....They really pushed the warranty and then left me high and dry...blaming the warranty company. BEWARE and be Warned! I will NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN! A SCAM IS A SCAM!!

This dealership SUCKS. We bought my 4runner there last november and since then we have had to replace the battery an extremely short time after, fix a major problem in the air conditioning, and now we find out that my tires are completely dry rotted after getting a 45,000 mile check up at another place. All of these issues should have been seen, fixed, or informed in the initial check up of the car upon being traded into the dealership. They failed to let us know about any of these issues and have caused me to be without a car for many periods of time.

They suck and they lie. That is all.

I bought my Tundra here, but I'll never buy another from this dealership. While my salesman was outstanding, the financial manager had to be the biggest jerk you'll ever meet. To the point, he threw a temper tantrum when I declined to purchase the extended-warranty on my used 2007 Tundra. He then further retaliated by telling me that "Cobb Toyota doesn't take USAA (my bank) cashier checks and USAA knows that." Oh really? USAA, based in San Antonio, Tx, knows that Cobb Toyota in Kennesaw, GA doesn't take cashier checks?! Who doesn't take cashier checks?! Fortunately, my salesman ironed things out, and I didn't have to deal with that financial guy again. But, after promising me a loaner vehicle while they replaced the upholstery in the truck (which I was paying for), they reneged and said no. So now, I avoid them for even an oil change. Go somewhere else and don't go to their sister dealership in Canton, GA either -- my wife worked there before we met and the manager tried to tell her (after test-driving her car) that her head gasket was about to "go." Nobody knows when a head gasket is about to "go," and that shows you how corrupt the two dealerships are, where they're willing to rip off one of their own employees.

Terrible customer service. Rude service manager Dennis Zullo. Do not expect anything from them. Oh, they''re nice enough until they get your money. But then?

I bought a certified used Prius. It had not been prepped correctly during the certification so I had to return for service. That took several times longer than the salesman said it would. The service reps ignored me, preferring to eat donuts and drink coffee. When they did talk to me it was in a condescending manner.

Later I discovered two defects in the alignment, things that can't be adjusted out. I called the dealer to schedule a look at the car for bent/broken/damaged parts. The service people did everything possible to avoid having to check the car. Charge me for an inspection and telling me the alignment was not properly done. Dennis finally said "I won't do anything for you" and hung up. I did learn that they do not routinely check the alignment during a certification.

No response so far from owner Mike Perrin or Toyota.

Nothing but great experiences. We've bought 5 Toyotas-had great service up front, great when we needed service after the sale, great with trade-ins, and you can't deny the trade-in value of a Toyota.
We don't buy anywhere else, and they've always been friendly and helpful.

Worst buying experience ever. I've had better experiences at buy-here-pay here lots with flood cars.

The salesman was either completely dense or brand spanking new- but he neglegted to tell me what I needed to trade in my car resulting in 3 seperate trips to the dealership. He was very dissmissive to my questions and kept asking for a check for the down payment before we had even talked numbers!!!

I feel bad for anyone purchasing a car from those people.

Pros: good selections, decent prices (stll gotta haggle though!)

Cons: EVERYTHING ELSE. Time wasters!

I went to this dealership to help my girlfriend purchase a certified used Camry. The price of the car was good, but they lowballed us on the trade-in value, which resulted in a lot of haggling. Once we thought the deal was done, we were sent into a separate room to work out financing. THIS IS WHERE THEY TACK ON AN EXTENDED WARRANTY WITHOUT TELLING YOU!!!! I specifically said we don't want any extra extended warranty that goes beyond the one that comes with a certified used toyota. At this point the finance person showed my girlfriend four payment options ($X for X months) that included various levels of added service. We found out later that all 4 of the options shown included a $1,995 extended warranty added on to the price we had already agreed to. We were not presented with any option without the extended warranty. We went through with it, but had to go back a few days later after we did the math, to get the extended warranty cancelled and money refunded. At no point in the sales process or financing process did anyone say anything about the extended warranty costing $1,995. Plus, on the paperwork they give you, you have to look very closely for this added charge because they use an ancient dot-matrix printer that prints the $1995 charge off-center, underneath the box it is supposed to be in, underneath other typing on the form.
SO BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE YOU DO THE MATH if you're going to buy from these guys and DO NOT LET THEM RUSH YOU! In fact, don't even bother going here, cause there are plenty of honest people out there to do business with.
Also, the car she bought, though it is certified, is already making a horrible creaking noise whenever it is sharply turned into a parking spot, so we'll be getting a different Toyota dealership to fix that problem.

I've had good and bad experiences here. I've bought 2 cars here- both of which I have loved. When I take my car here to get fixed, the treatment I receive depends on the person.

I bought 2 used cars from them less than 3 weeks ago, and I wouldn't even tell my worst enemy to buy a car from them. Lazy, uncaring service dept and overall couldn't give a sh** about their customers. One had the service engine light come on after driving it 14 days. Since its not a Toyota, they really can't work on it they told me, so they sent it over to Nissan. No one from the service dept even calls me to let me know whats going on. I keep calling them, and its " I was at the dentist, as soon as I get a chance, haven't heard from Nissan yet" They have had my truck for 4 days. I called a different Nissan and they told me that the problem takes a few hours to fix. I guess people at Cobb Toyota don't give a shi** that I have a job and need my vechicle. I understand it was a used car and there might be some problems, but try to get it fixed in a timely manner and keep me up to date on whats going on. I've rented a car the past 4 days and asked if they pay for it. "Nope, you had the option to buy the extended warranty and you didn't" Seems like thats what they like to say. I have purchased cars before at a dealership, and they usually kiss your butt before and after you buy a car. I guess Cobb Toyota has so much business that they don't need repeat customers. I know of 2 other people looking to purchase a car in the next couple of weeks, and I've already told them to stay away. Since this part is "not covered" under their sucky 60 day warranty, I can't wait to see how much they want to rip me off.

I shopped around a lot of Toyota dealers for a 2006 Tundra Double Cab. My wife met Jared, a sales rep, who took his time working with her while I was out of town and was great to her and answered every single question. I went down on a a Saturday and met Jared, and test drove the Tacoman and the Tundra. He was very knowledgeable about the trucks and could answer every question. They have a deal going on through the end of the month which is a $4,000 rebate. The Tundra I liked was listed at $27,000, and he was giving me a final price of $20,489. Very nice. I went home and tried to do my own online financing with an internet company because my credit isn't the best and I just knew I wouldn't be able to get financed through the dealership.

I got approved at RoadLoans (which you DO NOT want to use as I'll explain in a moment) and had my check ready to go. I called Jared, told him I was ready to buy, and he got the truck ready, and had the bed liner installed as I was driving down from Cartersville.

Buying was quick and easy. They already had a lot of the paperwork filled out for me to sign, and it was the easiest car purchase I have ever gone through. Everyone was friendly and put up with a bored 7 year old and two year old running around, which shows me a lot about their people!

I did find out that they do not accept RoadLoans or most other on-line financing for bad credit. They explained how it takes forever to get paid, and they are mostly companies you want to steer clear of unless you want to get taken. I found out most dealers in the area also do not take them, so just an FYI. I thought I was screwed, but a nice Business manager who turns out to be from Cartersville said "Let me try to get you financed", and after about 20 minutes, he did! And at a 2% better interest rate with a real bank! He was great!

I haven't worked with the service department as some of the other posters have, so I can't comment on that aspect yet, but so far, they have been the best dealership I have ever worked with in my car buying life. I highly recommend them and especially Jared. He is a great and low pressure salesperson.

Great prices on Toyotas. Not only do they provide you the best customer service when you are shopping for a car, but also great customer service after you have purchased your car. They also have the cheapest oil changes for your Toyota, and they are usually done with in the hour.
