Sigman Veterinary Clinic

I have used dr sigman for years he and his staff are very freindly and helpful. We had to have our cat of 13 years put down due to cancer. He and his staff were very conpassionate and I received a sympathy card for our loss. They know us by name and have helped many times for afterhour emergencys. They also treat your animals like your children.

Dr. Sigman took excellent care of our Yorkshire terrier "Sweet Pea" for 14 years. If we needed him after office hours, he was there for us. At the end of her life he was caring & compassionate to both Sweet Pea & us. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Michael Sigman.

I went to Sigman vet. after moving to Covington 1 year ago. I had my 2 cats declawed there. Spent $$$$ at that time. When my cat Cali started bleeding a few weeks ago I took her in to be seen. They diagnosed her with a urinary track infection and gave me meds to correct it. I followed all directions & $80.00 later she has not stopped bleeding. They want more MONEY to see her to again. Another $100.00 to $150.00 per the office staff. I felt that they took my $80.00 and should have given me a credit towards coming back in since they didn't diagnosis her properly. I WILL NOT be back. I lost my $80.00 and that's hard to lose. My Cali is still hurting and I'm very upset! I will find another vet in my area and will let all of you who read this know how my new vet handles this. Thank you.

Almost a year ago I took my dog to Dr. Sigman and his staff. My dog was unable to walk and was not acting right. I was told to take her home and if she was not better in a few weeks to bring her back. I then took her to Banfield and after taking on look at her I was told she needed to go to UGA. Ginger ended up having an auto-immune disorder that was attacking her brain. After spending a week at UGA Ginger is doing well. She is on medication and doing well. UGA saved her if I would of done what Dr Sigman and his staff suggested she would of died in a few days.

Dr. Sigman is really rude and acts as though you, as a customer are inconveniencing him. Also he charges a $15 prescription fee and refuses to call or fax it in to inconvenience you into using him as a more expensive pharmacy instead of a cheaper on-line retailer. I will never go to him again.

Sigman was the WORST mistake i have EVER made .
I should have NEVER taken ANY of my animals to his office.
He sucks at handling ferrets, sucks at calming the animals down, he isnt good with small animals. He is okay with horses but i wouldnt trust him with anything thing else for the life of me.

He has killed a few of my loved pets, and a few of my friends loved pets and NEVER explained why they died. He didnt even come in the room, he made the nurse hand me my beloved cat, sqweeky!

What kind of an ass would not step up to his plate and explain what the hell he did!
I was disappointed.

If you love your pets, DONT take them here.
The staff and himself are the most rudest people i have ever met, and they should NOT work with people OR their pets!

This is both a small and large animal facility, but I've used them for my horse. Dr. Sigman did a wonderful job treating the lameness that my horse had and I'm happy to say he's no longer lame. He always had time to answer questions and schedule last minute appointments. Great doctor!

I use Sigman for my horse and he has done a wonderful job treating what could have been a career ending injury. He always made time for me to discuss my horses case whether I needed to bring him to the clinic (he has a seperate diagnostic facility for large animals) or I just stopped by and needed to ask a question.
