This is a WONDERFUL place for children to learn! Beware and question any previous poor ratings for this school. The staff is committed to your child's social, emotional and educational development and the administration is doing all the right things with their financial and human resources.

One thing to be aware of here is that there is no funding and school materials and service/time are mostly donated by parents. Another thing is that the kids are left to pick their own lessons for the majority of the time-this is fine for some kids that want to complete something and move on but I observed more than once a child doing a lesson then just sitting with it and looking around or just sitting there for 30 minutes! This didn't seem very productive/learning to me. I did mention this to the teacher and she said they try to redirect kids when they see this but with 20 kids and 2 teachers it does happen a majority of the time....
But you do want to be careful, many schools may claim to be Montessori but in practice truly aren't be it AMS or AMI neither is better than the other, just different. Also, watch out for teachers that tell you your child isn't ready to try something they are interested in. I have a friend who's daughter is not quite four yet and learned to read and write her name early on, but instead of the teacher encouraging her desire to continue to learn this, she chastised her for learning it "wrong" and said she wasn't ready to do this yet. Well obviously she was because she DID!
Anyway, just be sure to ask lots of questions and observe (without letting them know and ask about teacher turn around time) before deciding!

This is a school that will see your child as a complete individual. They will encourage their talents and help them find their passion for learning and exploring. The children are confident, caring and life-long learners! Excellent preparation for life! Try ABC

This school, it's staff and the parent community have been a blessing. Imagine a place where every child is valued for who they are and what they are individually capable of. It's hard to do. Our family found this school for our child when she was 2.5 years old and ready for preschool - only all of the preschools said "no - she's not 3 - she can't start yet". Well ABC said "yes" and now I have a smart, savvy, and intelligent free thinker for a daughter. She is 7 this year, in second grade, and surprises me daily with something else she has learned - from the cenozoic era to beautiful cursive writing. Thank you ABC!!
