.

We started using Carrollton Pediatric when Carousel removed my newborn daughter from their patient list without informing me they were doing so. It was time for her 6 week check up and shots and we showed up for our appointment only to wait 1/2 hour and finally be asked "Are you sure you have an appointment?" I had our appointment card with me and showed them. It turns out that they removed us because I had taken my son to Carrollton Pediatric and signed for his records to be sent there during a 'emergency' when Carousel refused to see him. We were just starting at Carousel after my daughter's birth and they had never seen my son before, though I'd already had his records send to them. They couldn't see him during the emergency because he was a 'new patient' ... but because I took him somewhere else, they dropped us from their patient list. The were very RUDE. Anyway ... Carrollton Pediatric graciously worked my daughter in for her check-up and shots and we've been going there every since. I love Dr. Jack Miller who is not longer with them, but I find the other staff acceptable if not as outstanding as Dr. Miller was. Sometimes I think of changing to a more 'prestigious' doctor's office, but the care the kids receive always seems to be wonderful at Carrollton Pediatric and the people are very caring. We can usually be worked in if needed and appointments are usually fairly on-schedule though we have experienced some delays occasionally. The doctors are diverse in nationality but all seem well trained and knowledgeable. Most all of the nurses and office staff are very friendly and also seem qualified. Over the past 8 years we've had a few incidences which I didn't care for ... a male nurse who was *NOT* accepting of my breastfeeding my daughter in an exam room, a nurse who had a pack of cigarettes in her shirt pocket, and one doctor with whom I did not feel comfortable, but the majority of my impression of Carrollton Pediatric is positive.

PROS: Friendly doctors and staff, easy to work with
CONS: Sometimes crowded waiting areas, not prestigious
