Been coming here for years and never had a bad moment or a bad meal. Prompt professional service. Excellent thai cuisine. Small, intimate environment. Ample booths and a few large tables for groups, perfect for conversation, lingering.

This particular stretch of Cheshire Bridge doesn't look like it would be home to a comfortable, friendly, family-run restaurant (and, during peak hours, you might find yourself spending a few extra moments on the outside looking in while parking or waiting for a table to open up) but once you're seated you'll settle in and (likely) enjoy your meal. Any kind of meal. The kitchen succeeds on both the Thai and the Chinese sides of the menu and can please pork aficionados (I recommend to moo shu pork) as easily as vegetarians (pad see ew with tofu). Bring a friend, steal off each other's plates, and raise a glass of plum wine to your shared good taste about what tastes good.

Pros: breadth and depth of menu, cost

Cons: popularity relative to size

I grew up with Thai friends who introduced me to the best Thai restaurants in Hawaii. This restaurant brought me back! The mango coconut rice dessert was perfect, just past green mango how we love it in the aina. The spring rolls and peanut sauce make my mouth water even now when I am full and satisfied. Chicken satay comes with awesome fresh cucumber dish. And they have green papaya salad!!! It's not on the menu but I asked for it, and it was awesome. They had fantastic banana lumpia for dessert. The chicken larb was strong to my cousins who I was visiting, but I liked it on my rice. They serve the yummy sticky rice too in the little basket. The Thai iced tea was good and the waithelp told me where I could shop for some. Pad see euw (Spelling?) was so good with beef and bok choy and bean sprouts. they accomodated recipes not on their menu with my desriptions for an extra dollar. And they didn't bat an eyelash when my cousin and I walked in with eight kids between us. I love to share good food with my kids and people who don't look horrified as soon as I walk in get an instant 5% extra tip from me on top of normal tip. The finished plates kept disappearing without my noticing which I always appreciate. We ordered more good stuff I just can't remember it all. Will definitely return again and again. Will show up early again as it fills up fast. Decor inside made me feel like I was back home too...

The location and restaurant space is quaint. Though it could get a little noisy, it is a nice and pleasant place. Parking is a hassle but that's because of the large crowds that come for lunch and dinner. It is a very small, friendly restaurant and the food is very good. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys this type of cuisine.

I used to live in Austin, TX and fell in love with the dish Pad See Ew at a restaurant called Madam Mam's. Since I've been in Atlanta for 3 years, I've tried about 10 different versions of this dish and am happy to say that I have found the winner: Little Bangkok. It's almost a bad thing that it tastes so good at this place because it is SO ADDICTIVE. There is something about what they put in their food that will make you crave it.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. You would never think that behind that Cheshire Bridge hole-in-the wall facade is a fabulous restaurant. The wait staff was very quick and nice. Our meals were wonderful and hot. All-in-all we had no complaints. Granted, I've only been there once, but I will bet that it becomes a staple.

Little Bangkok is a real treat. They have great food and excellent house fried rice. The egg rolls are really good and the soups are tasty. Busy at lunch sometimes but worth the wait.

I was very specific, I can't have MSG. Ate here anyway- told OK.... A few hours later, came down with a migrane. Spent the whole night in the bathroom floor. Some of us can't handle MSG. These Asia restaurants need to learn- this is something serious for some of us!!!! Don't trust them, even if they say it's OK. They don't seem to care enough. Shame on them.

Great for lunch, entrees under $6. They get you in and out. I frequent this place and I always get my food in less than 10 mins, after ordering it. Friendly staff. Great food. Diverse menu. Dinner entrees under $8. Great portions, even during lunch. Great flavor. Authentic.

!!! The Goods:
Mongolian Chicken,
Basil Chicken,
House Lomein,
Chicken Fried Rice,
Hunan Chicken

!!Beware:
Lunch prices are under 6 dollars but credit/debit card charges have a $10 minimum.
Lunch comes with sweet and sour soup. If you dont like, make sure you ask for wonton or egg drop instead.
Chinese lunch entree comes with eggroll, so you dont have to order a side eggroll!!!

My first impression wasn't much, parking was very limited. Once inside the hospitallity was incredible, service from our waiter was so pleasant, he made us feel like he wanted us there. We asked for a recommendation from him, which we went with... I had the coconut flavored soup....YUM!!!! and also the dumplings... Our entrees were the Basil steak and Panang Flounder.....Don't miss out on the Thai Tea...Awesome place and we'll be back.....

The Coconut soup and Nu Nan Tok was the worst I ever tasted. The soup was unlike anything I've ever tried. The Nu Nan Tok was burnt and very spicy when I had requested it mild. If you have ever eaten at Annie's Thai Castle or Surin you would see why I was disappointed. Never to return again. Wasted money and I'm still hungry?

I spent several months in Thailand basically eating myself into a Thai coma. I have spent years since then trying to find something that compares. Little Bangkok is my home away from home. The most authentic curries, and spicing. I feel as though I'm back in Bangkok. The lunch specials with the spicy soup are cheap and amazingly good and filling. My favorites are the Pad Thai, Panang Chicken, Tom Kha Soup, and I hear the masaman curry is fantastic. Other noodle dishes are great as well.

This place really is a hidden find! What a deal for lunch! You get probably the best hot and sour soup I have ever had to start, and whatever you want from the lunch menu with rice for like 6 bucks after tax! My boyfriend eats here with his co-workers a few times a week and all the waiters know them and are so friendly. The pad thai is the best in Atlanta, the panang is awesome...even though I have to say that Mali's in the Va. highlands is my favorite, and the pad see ew is great too! Very authentic flavors, not americanized like some other places in ATL. They used to serve oranges after the meal was finished, but the last few times I've been they didn't do that. The service is always super speedy at lunch too. We went once for dinner and it was still really good, but its just not as cheap, which is almost half the fun! You definitely leave here full and happy, except that everyone is right, the parking is a little bit of a challenge.

This little hole-in-the-wall on Cheshire Bridge, has become a well known jewel. This happens to be one of our favorite luncheon spots. Super clean and efficient, the menu offers both Thai and Chinese. Stick with the Thai. The Green Papaya Salad with Beef Jerkey, is out of this world. If it's on the menu, and you like it spicy, this is the food to get. Soups are very good also. Especially the Tom Yom, with shrimp. Here again, you can get it Thai hot. Massaman, Yellow, and Red Curries are outstanding. Budget prices, for great homestyle Thai. Parking is terrible.

Little bangkok boasts of the best thai in atlanta. They have a limited thai menu and the rest is chinese. The thai food itself is okay, apart from red curry nothing really stands out. The atmosphere is more diner-like than anything else. Go there for a one-time experience.
The service and courtesy is lacking. I understand that service is not one of the strong points of any south-east asian restaurant but i was disappointed.

Usually a restaurant that offers both Chinese and Thai food does neither well. This one does both very well. Service is quick, food is fresh, hot and spicy (to taste) and the prices are the best in town for such great food. Both the decor and the food are authentic Thai, even the music and the wait staff are Thai. Lunch and dinner are always busy, and the only reason this place doesn't get a perfect score is that there is virtually no parking at all. Otherwise it's a don't-miss.

Sparkingly clean restaurant serves up Thai and Chinese delicacies at very good prices! Favorites include the Thai dumpling appetizer, any Thai soup and any spicy dishes either Chinese or Thai! Doesn't get much better than Little Bangkok!

Everything we had - spring rolls, soups, curry dishes - excellent and very light on the wallet. Thai tea a little too sweet - only complaint.

Service was outstanding.

This will be our Thai mainstay.

Have been a long standing customer for YEARS. The rude, disrespectful waitstaff is clearly stressed. The very friendly service and welcoming environment are sadly missing from this once fantastic family owned business. There was a misunderstanding about the order on June 18, 2005 about 5:15 pm or so. The bellowing out about the change in the order was noxious, immature and shocking. A removal of a vegetable due to allergies was the only request. In the past, such a change was ALWAYS met with kind service. The water fellow adopted the most hateful, inappropriate, intimidating attitude complete with slamming of water glasses onto the table after refilling. I asked that the rude comments stop as they were effecting the tables around us. Owner was not on premisis... I believe she would have been very upset if she had seen the interatction of her staff. I will stop by this week and discuss the obvious change in environment. Get a grip. There is competition for great Thai food and kind people in Atlanta. This is my last visit to this establishement for a dining experience. My guest was also shocked, we are both in service professions... I would not have a business if I behaved this way toward my clients.

This restaurant has a Thai and Chinese cuisines to choose from. I recommend the Thai food. The portion sizes are very good and the prices are reasonable. The best time to go is lunch for value and the crowd. The seating area gets filled quickly so there is normally a wait at night. The service is friendly but very short and sweet.

Arguably the best Thai food in Atlanta. You may have a long-ish wait to get a table, but after that the service is usually very fast. The food, in my experience, is ALWAYS great.

My only complaint is that I wish they'd replace the front door so that it opens outwards. Opening inwards, it consumes about a third of the tiny waiting/cashier area which is commonly packed with people.

Oh, and parking is a royal pain.

BUT, it's all worth it... the excellent food wipes away all parking-, waiting- and crowdedness-related tears with the first mouthful. YUM!

I love the soups here, sometimes I just get a large bowl and have that as my meal ... the hot and sour soup might be the best i've ever had, but the Tom Kha and Tom Yum soups are equally good. The menu has a nice variety and the food is always delicious and fast, friendly service is a plus. Place can get crowded and there is virtually no lobby to in which to wait, but the wait is never long and it's always worth it.

i've only had take out here as on a friday night the line to get seated has been out the door every time i've gone to pick up my food. you really cant find a better deal..an appetizer, soup, and the main course and its almost enough for 2 people. maybe they give take out orders more food who knows. anyway, for thai takeout i wouldnt consider going any other place based on how good the food tastes and you wont beat the price anywhere else.

Very small place, packed. Long waiting line - but pretty fast. The cheese rolls are very very littleee! Tom Yam Seafood soup not spicy at all, only sour and salty. Pad Thai is pretty tasty, eventhough my roommate asked for very spicy and it turned out to be NOT spicy at all - more to sweet. I ordered medium hot - Chicken Curry Fried Rice - turned out to be EXTREMELY HOT! I can't feel anything else, but the SPICINESS!... The server fill up my glass with water MANY MANY times - about 15 times approx - without me asking hahahahha.
Overall, I'd say this restaurant is AVERAGE, but recommended.

Little Bangkok has a large faithful following for good reason. This unpretentious family owned restaurant consistantly produces great quality food! I am a big fan of Thai food and this is one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to in Atlanta. It is not trendy like some of the places in VA HI, and it's reasonably priced. It's a good place to take a large group of friends. I suggested this place for a birthday dinner and everyone loved it and we were all surprised how cheap the total was. This place is kind of hard to find and things are further complicated due to the fact that there are like 10 Thai/Chinese restaurants within a mile of this place. I suggest calling and making a reservation if you have more than 4 people coming. Can get busy on weekends. This place rocks.

In a tiny space tucked away on eclectic Cheshire Bridge Road lies this gem of a Thai restaurant. The food is at once simple and complex, spicy and refined. One taste and Anna would have remained in Siam forever, King or no King. Try the delicious starters -- mee grob, larb, squid salad. Then transition to the spicy catfish with just-right steamed rice. Or, if you prefer, the green curry with beef, a distant cousin of a similar concoction found across southern India. For a nice contrast sample some mango chicken, with veggie spicy fried rice. End the meal with a Thai iced coffee, laced with condensed milk. Yum!

Better than Thai Chile, better than Bangkok Thai, in short, better than all of the reasonably priced area Thai restaurants. The spring rolls always arrive light, hot and crispy, while the basil rolls come fresh and full of flavor (vegetarian or meat). My favorites, the green and red curries, are served extra spicy upon request and burst with flavor. The friendly, low-key service complements the savory Thai offerings. There's also a tasty Chinese food menu.
