I have never had a bad experience here, and I have eaten here several times during their busiest hours. On Sundays, they have $10 all you can eat tapas (a great way to stretch your palette)! The service is top-notch, and the food is as well. From sushi to salads to steaks to desserts, you can do no wrong here! Try the red velvet cupcake, it is divine.

I've eaten here a few times for lunch. I always get there soup and salad specials. Soups and salad specials change weekly (I think) and they are usually pretty good. Also the waitresses are pretty good looking. The only downside is that it is a little expensive. A soup and a salad usually cost me about $22-$25 after tip.

Twist is a wonderful restaurant. I am on a special diet and the chef was more than happy to help prepare the meal to my requirements. They really made my meal an enjoyable experience.

Do not eat here!!! The service was terrible, it was extremely loud, and worst of all the food was disgusting. Not one thing was seasoned properly and our food came out at once. Keep in mind this place is a tapas bar, so staggering dishes would make since, right? Definitely a miss in the booming and interesting food scene of Atlanta.

Chic place, good for people-watching. A nice place to cozy up to your significant other for a date night, while at the same time offering a fun atmosphere for a group outing with friends.

At night, Twist is a place to see and be seen. But don't let it's hip appearance and nightclub like feel at times fool you. The food is excellent. Among the highlights are the sushi and the Thai Shrimp curry. Delicious!

Twist is a very trendy, fun restaraunt so I don't know if everyone equates the name with great sushi. However, I think they offer some of the best sushi in buckhead! If you love sushi you should give it a try.

It is located in a very part of town. Great for sushi lovers! Their drinks are expensive though, and they are ALWAYS full! Sometimes it is hard to get a seat. the atmosphere is nice, and multiple projectors show different sport games.

This place has excellent sushi! The b52 rolls are awesome. This place gets packed so it's a good idea to get a reservation. It's the type of atmosphere where you should dress up. Bring a date there and get them to try some saki or some crazy sushi. It's fun. The staff knows alot about sushi and is very helpful!

Last night two orders of sushi and both were so fishy tasting they couldn't be eaten. This was my FAVORITE sushi place and in one night I am really going to think long hard before returning. In the mean time I will go to Prime. I know they are both owned by the same corporation. The people at Prime are the ones who told us to try Twist and We have been going there for a couple of years. I just hate the taste or smell of fish and that is going to be hard to overcome. I will give them one more chance. STAY ON TOP OF THE FRESHNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I was reading the reviews here I am amazed. I never had a bad experience at Twist and have been living here for 4 years, by way of Texas! Meeting friends for happy hour is one of my favorite past times. It can be a little crowded on Friday evening, so get there early! The drinks and appetizers are great! On a breezy evening, sit outside on the patio. Very Relaxing!

Brought my wife out last weekend for our anniversary here. I already called a week ahead to reserve a table for that special night. When I arrived, I found out that our table had already been taken. I tried to talk to management but they weren't looking in my interest. We finally got a horrible table near the door where all the traffic was coming in and out. The food was not worth the money at all and the service was lousy. I plan on never going to this mediocre restaurant ever again.

This is the Worse Restaurant I have been to! They took advantage of our party and required everyone a minimum order of $35. They made so much money off of us even though the guy who planned the party talked to the manager who said there would be no minimum. The food is overpriced for the serving sizes and the service was HORRIBLE! I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

The service was horrible at this restaurant. Just came back from there tonight and it ruined my night with my wife. The managers treat you like you are a child and do not give you respect. The dishes are overpriced for the serving size. I will never go to this place again.

I have visited TWIST every month since moving to Atlanta (2 years ago) and have always enjoyed the food. Every dish I have tried has been excellent and I would highly recommend the food.....however, the experience I had last time might prevent me from returning. I sat at the bar, as I normally do, with my boss. The drink menu was sticky and looked like it was designed by my fourth grader. We ate, chatted, and when we were ready to leave -could not get our bill. It seems the "bar manager" was too busy taking shots of tequila to assist. When we finally got her attention, we asked for our bill...which we received with a smirk and rolled eyes. How pleasant! It seems she has forgotten about customer service. On our way out the door, we saw the same manager sitting on the lap of a guest at a cocktail table.....I guess that is the customer service she is trained for!!!!! Although I love the restaurant, I will probably not return. I prefer a more professional environment to take colleagues.

I am a regular at Twist. Whenever I have friends visiting Atl or just hanging with friends here we are always happy with Twist. We get many small potions of food(usually around $8) and share, talk, then order more food. The drinks are great too. My favorites are the tempura shrimp(light & fresh with great dipping sauce), california roll(fresh and delish), molten chocolate cake(small portion but hot, creamy goodness). I don't order the entrees, I prefer the tapas. It is a fun...good drinks....great food to share with friends... place!! All good!!! One word of advice, the room with the bar as you enter is the place to be. I don't enjoy the dining room, that is probably where people say there is too much noise. Go, sit at the bar and enjoy... just please save some seats for me and my friends!

Twist is ok. The food is average. Not exactly blan but nothing that makes your taste buds wonder off into space. This place is way too loud for my liking also. It is very crowded bringing in many Phipps shoppers and people who like paying $$ for the tasteless food.

My husband and I have been dining at Twist for about 5 years. It was a great date spot for dinner and a movie before we were married, and then became a celebration stop for new jobs or birthdays. Last night was our last time there though. We were seated promptly at our reservation time, but after waiting 15 minutes I had to flag down a manager to get someone to come to the table. Over the years, the service has always been pretty spotty, but this was the worst. She got our drinks and even came back and got our appetizer order. We didn't see the waitress until about 20 minutes later. Also, in the last year, price have gone up and portions have gone down. The average tapa is now $7 for about 4 bites and the desserts are up to $4.50 each, 3 for $12 instead of the 3 for $10 we used to enjoy as a standard end to every meal. Even the Sinatra sushi roll we always order had fewer pieces. Then there's taste. The flavors just aren't there anymore. The old standards are still on the menu, but the new additions are plain and boring. So, we won't be back. And I don't think we're the only ones, because when we left at about 8:00 on a Saturday night the place was empty.

My sister and I tried Twist for our b-day celebrations. It is average at best. Our server was nice and very prompt, and the area we sat in (the lounge) was spacious and the overall feeling of the place was very trendy. But the food was very bland and lacked authentic tapas taste (stick to Eclipse di Luna). It is also very loud! You will have to yell at others sitting at your table. But waitress did give us a free cake for our b-day; a nice finishing touch.

I went here with a few cousins because they heard about it and we were all pretty indecisive about where we wanted to eat that day. They told me they served small plates of interesting food so I wanted to check it out. The service was okay but not great. It was hard to choose from the entre menu because all of the food sounded nasty, I guess I'm a picky eater. And once it came our food was definitely COLD. I wouldn't come back or suggest the restaurant to a friend.

Nothing to write home about - the food is mediocre and too pricey -- the atmosphere is just boring -
but for some reason this seems to be the "it" place to be---
one question --- WHY
have been there multiiple times with friends picking the place -
there are better places to drop your cash -
tapas are lame -
sorry twist -- no go
oh they do make a good martini and the wait staff is friendly

My date and I tried out Twist recently on a Friday night. The atmosphere was exactly what we expected - loud, bright, modern, and busy. When we were finally able to grab a seat at the bar, the bartender was excellent. After a short wait we were seated. The hostess staff was nice and accurate with our wait time. Our waiter arrived seeming a bit distant and frazzled, but he handled our order promptly and appropriately. The menu is vast with choices. The sushi was excellent! The cost is on the price side perhaps, but seems no more expensive than any other ?see-and-be-seen? restaurant around the city. I?d recommend checking it out when you aren't looking for a quiet evening out!

My friend and I went out after a hard day to Phipps mall and decided to watch a movie and get dinner at Twist.... we got to the restaurant and asked to be seated at 9pm. We were told that they stopped serving dinner and that if we wanted we could take a seat at the bar and get drinks... hungry and tired... we tried to check out the other restaurants .... unfortunatley couldnt find anything we could agree on.. so we just went back to Twist and decided to get a few drinks... when we started noticing that the people all around us were being served food and waiters were taking orders... the waitress tried to tell us that they weren't taking orders... we just decided to ignore this... we got our drinks 45 MINUTES LATER!! Then had the drinks yanked out under us when we asked to move to a more comfortable location. I then called the manager... asked him about the drinks (which he refused to replace) and then asked why everyone was getting their orders taken? He told me that dinner time ended at 10... when we told him what the hostess said... he told us that SHE DIDN'T SAY THAT... He then went on to imply that we wre just trying to get free food....and told me that he had seen me there a number of times so I should know better!! IF HE SEEN ME THERE SO OFTEN... SHOULDN'T HE TREAT ME AND MY FRIEND WITH RESPECT...

FOUR MONTHS LATER... I went back here as my friend suprised me for my birthday. The entire time I was here the manager kept giving me evil glances... the food here is good but not good enough for the treatment.

We went with a group of people from my office. It was a nice atmosphere, we went on Monday night and the 1/2 price wine special was great.

The food, however, was very expensive. Even the tapas was a little pricey. My husband got a special, I got Paella, which was a good price for $20 (it would easily feed 2) but it was very bland and had no flavor. People across from me got a steak for $30---with nothing else.

This place is very average, but for the price, I much prefer Two Urban Licks or for tapas, Sabroso.

Bottom line, good drinks, wine special is great. But food is lacking.

This place was pretty good. Let us start with the scene. A great scene located inside Phipps Plaza, but the one thing that is a mess about this place is the noise. Wow, this place needs to find a way to keep the people a little bit more quiet. Plus, there was a teenage girls birthday party going on right behind the sushi bar, which the noise from that was cutting through my brain like nails. Other than the noise the food was tasty and I enjoyed the sushi, but the prices did not match the quality. Please do not mistake my review for saying the food was lousy, I am simply saying there are other sushi places that offer sushi that is just as good for cheaper. There is one thing that surprised me they offer little hamburgers that are incredible! I was surprised to see that on the menu and had to try them. They were so delicious and juicy. Please try this menu item. Last thing, the service, it was pretty good, when my place setting was too messy they changed it right away. Give this place a whirl, you won't be disappoointed, but be prepared for this place to get LOUD!

I used to be a frequent patron of Here to Serve, but no longer.

Please don't patronize Twist, Shout, Strip, Prime, Noche, Goldfish, Shout, or any other restaurant they choose to open.

After a dinner with several friends at Twist, we were asked to move to the bar area when they closed the dining area. In the process, a full drink was removed by the staff too early. Despite the amount we had spent and intended to continue to spend, the manager refused to replace it, which was his right. However, the way in which he refused was dripping with a profound disrespect and arrogance which was beyond the pale of anything I had ever seen from a restaurant. Ultimately, his treatment ruined my friend's birthday, and our night.

I wrote 3 representatives of Here To Serve a month ago to complain and they have not even bothered with the courtesy of a form letter in response. A restaurant chain that treats its patrons like this for any reason is not worthy of my business, or yours.

I wrote 3 representatives of Here To Serve a month ago to complain and they have not even bothered with the courtesy of a form letter in response. A restaurant chain that treats its patrons like this for any reason is not worthy of my business, or yours.

Pros: None if they have no means to accept complaints

Cons: Incredibly disrespectful manager, unresponsive central management

We've been going to Twist since the day they opened. In fact we are a fan of Prime, the sister restaurant by Tom Catherall, across the street at Lenox Square also. If it's around five, and you need to unwind, from working those credit cards, drop in here for a drink. We love those daily $5.00 Martini Specials, but just usually get our Dirty Grey's. Small plates are tasty, and if you like, you can make a meal out of them. Love the Satays, and Mussels. Staff is fun and sassy, and we don't take anything serious. We just want to unwind, and have a little fun.

while the food is good and the setting even better, there are definitely certain nights here which are better than others..friday night seems to be meat-market night..as you walk in, there are gents lined up along the little walkway inside the restaurant pretty much drooling at every woman coming in...sat night is definitely better, nicer crowd...in any case, the place is always lively and the sushi/satays/martinis are awesome...grest service always!!!

I went to Twist this past Satruday with a co-worker (we were in from Miami on business). We originally went for the sushi, but ended up feasting on several dishes including an amazing dish of plantains and grilled Georgia Peaches (so worth the wait...thanks to the Twist staff for going out of their way for us!!) The house Cabernet was terrific, the atmosphere was rocking and our server, Derrick, was the best! Kudos to the rest of the staff who kept our water glasses full and our table clear. We were stuffed, but very very happy with the experience.

We will most definitely be going back...hopefully soon! Thanks for such an amazing time!

The food is great here. It's my favorite place to get sushi near Lenox. There's a fun and lively atmosphere, and the dj usually plays good music.

Half price wine is a must on Mondays. The food/sushi is good and service ranges from good to great. Can't beat the prices.

I went here last Friday night with a group of 10 and it was a fantastic experience. The service was great-- they seated us promptly, despite the fact that it was nearly filled to capacity and our waiter went out of his way to make sure everyone was satisfied. The atmosphere of Twist is very vibrant and lively, which also means that it is VERY VERY loud, but this did not detract from the experience. I ordered my favorite salad- the calamari salad with bananas and a Southern Cosmopolitan and left happy. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meals-- ranging from steak to sashimi to a seafood dish to sushi and a grilled vegetable plate. I'd highly recommend this as a hip place to take out of town guests.

we went to Twist for a farewell happy hour on a friday early evening. the waitress was rude, not smiling, arrogant and slow. when we asked her how she wanted to handle our tab she said:" I am not paying for any of your drinks!" assuming some of our friends would walk out. I asked for a campari orange, she served me a cranberry orange. I then asked for another one later. I had to wait 25 minutes before she came back without the drink. I paid my tab (a gratuity was already included!!??) and left in a horrible mood. Will never go back!!

i had a tortellini dish, and for $12, i got about 5 pieces of small tortellini and, obviously i wasnt satisfied. i am by no means a big guy, and if i am going to put down about $20 for a meal (including tip and a drink), i want to be satisfied! and also i thought the vibe of the restaurant was trying to be a little too downtown manhattan chic... with the dim lighting, the flourescent spotlights in the background and the people who go there... our service was pretty receptive though, one thing i couldn't complain about

I had an opportunity to review the ratings for Twist before I went. I really had some mixed feelings, yet because I was a guest I went along for the ride. Our party visited early evening during the week. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed. The people were friendly, the service was exceptional and Derrick our server was always there with great suggestions. I never once had to motion to the staff for anything. They seemed to be there when ever I looked up. The food, plainly stated was perfect , and although some reviews stated the portions were small... I found the selections imaginative and fresh, pairing unique flavors together. The atmosphere was full of energy, and the placed filled up quickly. Twists is worth the trip. I encourage you to check them out. If you are ready for a great evening call Twists. My thanks to the chef and staff, my evening was a wonderful experience, visit twists and discover yours!

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been too. I've been to restaurants in the boonies that have better service, better and cheaper food. The food at Twists is expensive for little quality. I paid $7 for fried oysters, and I only got four pieces. My friend got hash brown potatoes, and it tasted overcooked. Our waiter was rude and very slow. The two people I was with wanted cheaper wine, and he kept persuading them to get the expensive wine. The dessert was expensive for the amount we received too. The creme brulee was served in little sauce bowl. The music there was also annoying. If you are thinking about wanting to eat at Twists, go to another restaurant.

Its crazy here. Tapas, comfort food, beautiful people, good drinks, variety up the wazzoo and a sports bar. Its a solid place for group dining and centralized in a good location for all patrons.

We ate here on a Sunday night (FYI, on Sundays, you can enjoy their all you can eat tapas with set selections for a rather reasonable $10). While we were seated promptly, it took our waiter a rather long time even to ask us for a drink order and also a rather long time to bring our drinks. However, we did enjoy the food, but it wasn't the best tapas in Atlanta. The three for $12 desserts though were fabulous, especially the coconut creme brulee!

The menu is varied and provides a lot of options for the undecided. There is an extensive sushi menu - try the Sinatra - it's the best! Cripsy outside rice is a neat twist. Also, many tapas to choose from and so hard to decide! We chose the queso fresco with chorizo - fantastic!!

Service was also great - very attentive and suggested items when we showed indecision. Not too busy for a late Saturday night and fantastic music coming from the DJ. A mix of old with the new. Definitely worth checking out!

I wouldn't know about the menu EXCEPT for the tapas. De-lish! The mini-burger is a grown up gourmet version of White Castle. Tasty. The hummus, excellent. Any of the sushi rolls are great. The calamari was a little too heavy... but still great. The drinks are a little pricey but also well worth it. The staff is really friendly and attentive too. If you are overwhelmed by what to get, they can help you. The prices are moderately priced too.

Cavernous Twist, hosting 300 seats, attracts legions of twenty-somethings who seem unperturbed by the noise level, even though it makes table conversation difficult. Antidote: Go early, before the movie or shopping. Twist works as a tapas…
