Fuego is a great little place on Crescent. It is close to my work so we went after work once. There was a $1 tapas meu. They have my favorite tapa - bacon wrapped grilled dates. The drink specials are good too.

Fuego is a fun tapas place. Make reservations if you can, can get pretty crazy and pricey. The food is great and they have a little bar up front. A few different seating places to choose from, can be for a date or a group of people. Try the shrimp and chicken dishes. Sausage dishes are great and the creative vegetable dishes are great too!!

We should have known that it was not going to be a good visit. Although the place was practically empty, our party of five was seated at a corner table directly under the television and next to the loudspeaker. My friend had to order his drink twice. I ordered the Seafood Paella, and was told that I should have ordered it when I arrived because it takes 40 minutes, and did I want them to hold everyone's food till mine was ready? Everyone else's food came out and they all offered to share, but I wanted to wait for the paella. Well, I never got it. Someone came out and said that something they put in the paella was bad, so they had to throw it out and start over. By this time, my friends were done eating, so I asked to order something else. Unfortunately, it also took a long time to get. To make amends, they voluntarily comped one of my drinks and a portion of my meal cost. So, while we were waiting for the food, we tried to chat, but the house band started up what was supposed to be flamenco music. We were seated right next to the speaker, so we had to shout at each other to be heard over the worst flamenco wanna-be music I have ever heard. I'm very disappointed because I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time. Now that I've been there, I will never go back.

Pros: the ribeye was huge, didn't have to ask for a price reduction after the problem with my order

Cons: slow service even though the place was almost empty, server had a bit of an attitude

I dine at Fuego often for lunch and on the weekend. Excellent selection of tapas and great outdoor seating in the summer. Service can be spotty if it's crowded, but in general a good experience.
