Great Cobb County Restaurant
by Jan L.
We've been dining at Ritter's since they opened several years ago and continue to enjoy superb cuisine and service there. They have great early bird specials in the evening and 1/'2 price wine and martini nights. Entree prices include a salad and their desserts are always wonderful. Their new location, nearby Paper Mill Grille, is a bit more upscale and very good as well.

Fantastic food and atmosphere - and don't forget the desserts!

Ritter's is a welcome and long overdue place to go in East Cobb for great food and atmosphere. The family owned business serves creative dishes and fabulous desserts and has a "neighborhood" feel. The only place I can think of in the area where you can escape the chain restaurant and be guaranteed a great experience.

Great staff, Locally owned and amazing food
by jHurte
Try to lump crab cakes...I'd say at least 90% all lump crab meat...beautiful. The staff makes you want to come back time and time again. Also, the owner is present and checks on the guests...try it out as soon as possible
Pros: Food, Staff, Location
Cons: not sure of any yet...

Wonderful! Intown Food, Suburb Attitude
by mt30067
The address listed for this restaurant says Atlanta, but it's actually in Marietta...though you wouldn't know it by the quality of the food. I am so impressed. There is a wide selection of wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented upscale American fare, nice variety of wines by the glass, and incredible desserts. The ambience is great, nice yet unpretentious. A back room with exposed brick and high ceilings which reminds me a lot of NY restaurants (except more elbow room here) and an open front area rich with wood. I am also really impressed by the waitstaff. The owner seems to have a knack for finding employees who take pride in what they do (knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, mature)...something lacking in a lot of the waitstaff in this area. There was a wide range of patrons on a Saturday night...couples (young and old), friends, families. I certainly couldn't afford to eat here every night, but I plan to save the commute intown and make this my 'go to' place when I want to go out for a good dinner. I recommend the crab cake appetizer - more crab than cake - wonderful! I could go on, but I'd also suggest dessert...even if you have to share or take most of it home with you - it's that good. My ONLY recommendation to the owner would be to keep the online menu/wine list updated as well as the menu posted outside the restaurant - minor detail.
Pros: Food, Service, Location
Cons: None

One of few good restaurants in Cobb County
by atlantajan
Cobb County, one of Atlanta's most populated, has never attracted good restaurants. Ritter's moved in to a closed elder-disco place years ago and has served consistently good food in a friendly atmosphere ever since. They offer great desserts, some interesting beers on tap, wine events, and generally a very good value. Order some chocolate chip cookies to take home (best in Atlanta) as they often sell out if them. Call about their early bird special, which is usually a decent deal. Parking right in the front... and no valet... yea!!
Pros: Good food, consistent, value for the money
Cons: The Atlanta city folks would have to drive out here!

Fabulous seafood, succulent steaks.
by lft37
A cozy, friendly atmosphere with experienced servers and former Ritz-Carlton chef/owners. Listen carefully to the specials--they're well chosen by the chef and great values. A generous serving of wine is always provided. Desserts are created in-house; a comfort food menu is also available. By far the best fine dining experience in East Cobb; seamless and consistent performance over three years. Crowded on weekends.

Fantastic restaurant
by kemeers
I've been to Ritter's several times (it's a must for office birthdays!) and each time was a great dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy & romantic and everything appears to be very clean. The servers are very nice and willing to accomodate special orders. My favorite item is the Salmon BLT, which has an incredible citrus mayo, while my favorite dessert is the Bananas Foster Cream Pie. This is an excellent pick in Marietta for a date, ladies luncheon (seen several of those there) or business dinner.
Pros: Food & desserts, Atmosphere, Staff

Midtown Cuisine in Marietta
by atlgirl31
We took four friends from NYC here for dinner and they raved about the food -- that should indicate how good it is. Ritter's menu has a wide selection of dishes, from casual sandwiches to creative entrees of seafood, steak, and pasta. Especially recommended are the Lobster Ravioli, Sauteed Scallops, and the Homemade Meatloaf. The fireplace is warm and cozy in colder months. Be sure to save room for dessert -- you will be delighted! In a suburban area brimming with generic chain restaurants, Ritter's is a unique gem.
Pros: entrees, desserts, service

Good Restaurant & Best desserts in town!
by jimmysearch2005
Great restaurant for the price and nice people. As for the cuisine, they serve traditional american fare, but I have never in my life had a chocolate chip cookie as good as the one their pastry chef makes - I bought a bunch to take home and ate them before I got on the plane.
Pros: staff, chocolate chip cookes, price
