Nailshop

I've been going to the Nailshop since the late '90s. They have always done an exceptional job with pedicures. However, I will agree with some of the other reviewers -- the owner, is very rude and arrogant to the customers, and often the wait time is just unbearable. I've waited an hour or longer for a pedicure. The atmosphere could be more relaxing too. Often it feels like a foot factory, and not a nail spa.

This was a great nail shop. My nails were done nicely and the staff were very nice. There prices were reasonable. They have a good choice of colors. Recommend you stop by and try them.

I actually love the nail shop, I live in Austell and I start my morning by driving to Salon Ajee on Camp Creek and then to Decatur. The one drawback is if you go on a Saturday after 8 am you are subject to be there for a while and the great news is they do not rush on your feet, as one patron describes it, "it's like mini surgery on your feet." I know there were a few comments about the polish, I normally bring my own polish because I like to mix my colors. If you are looking for an awesome pastel pink color, purchase Sinful brand from Walgreens # 300 is the color and it is only 1.99 and it last me for two weeks or longer. I have been to other places and I do not like placing my feet in the spa tubs because it is not sanitary and not only that I have been disappointed time and time again going other places. All I have to say is try it for yourself and it is only $21 for a regular pedicure the same as it would cost anywhere else for the spa chairs.

I have gone to many other nail shops in Atlanta and am always comparing them to the Nailshop and they ALWAYS fall short of my expectations. I am NEVER disappointed with the service and quality of work at the Nailshop.For the best pedicures in Atlanta there is no other like the Nailshop!!!

Nail shop on Candler Road is the best in A. I travel from Gwinnett County to Decatur for the experience. They are very thorough and their work is top notch. I am never disappointed.

I've never walked away dissatisfied in the last 10 years or so that I've been going there.Weather for eyebrow arching or for my usual mani/pedi treatment, I am always pleased with the service I receive. The environment is always clean, the service is always excellent, the music is always good, and they take their time....no in and out 15 min service. If you are very particular like myself, you can purchase your own supplies and have your tech keep them in the shop for your use only...this includes polish.The one draw back is the wait time...it can be a bit enduring...go during the week to avoid this. If you are looking for quality and you don't mind paying for it, The Nail Shop is the place to go. FYI...The faces of the employees has changed very little since I've been going, which says quite a bit about the integrity and attitude of the owners. The average employment time for a hair or nail tech a shop is 2 to 3 years max. I know...I use to be one.

This is a beautiful well kept salon, however as high as their prices are. I don't understand why they don't have quality products and proper ventilation. First, the polish is very cheap dollar polish by Mirage and Sation. The good quality polish is either OPI or China Glaze. I saw them putting paint thinner in the bottles to stretch it which makes it thin and easy to rub off. I also saw them stretching the pedicure products in their kitchen as I was on my way to the restroom. The foot soak is actually dawn dish soap and I saw them with a 5 gallon paint bucket full of TABLE SALT Mixing it with cheap oil for the foot scrub. The air conditioner is always on summer or winter to try and swish the fumes around because the exhaust vents do not work so im sitting here with my feet in the water itching from dish soap with 60 degree air blowing on me so now im choking because im catching a cold, Never Again. And the owner is very rude not only to her customers but to her employees as well and they make the money! I think she is an unhappy woman! This makes the atmosphere very uncomfortable when it should br relaxing

This nail salon takes extra precautions to protect us from fungus. They even offer a service where you can purchase your own supplies and use them each time.

This shop usually has a line developing before it opens. It is very well staffed. You can sit and have your nails and toes done at the same time. It is clean and we all can appreciate that!

This nail shop is very well kept and has a nice decor. They also have alot of staff for the often busy shop. The only drawback is that they do not have a good selection of polish, in fact, they have "cheap" polish - that will chip quickly.

The man who does eyebrows is GREAT. He is fast and knows what he is doing.
