I went to a birthday party where Dining In was catering, and I have to admit that though the food was exceptional, the service was not.

I think they outsource their labor, which is unfortunate because the caterers themselves were top notch. The banquet waiters and staff carrying hors d'oeuvres were too busy smoking cigarettes and chatting outside to tend to the guests.

I could be completely wrong, and the wait staff could have been hired by the people throwing the party, but judging by the uniforms and conversational exchanges, I'd say that the caterers and wait staff were from the same company.

PROS: Great food that won't disappoint
CONS: Lackadaisical wait staff who reek of Marlboro Ultra-lights
