My husband and I absolutely love this preschool! We moved here from another center in the area because we didn't feel that they were teaching him anything at it was all about play. We've been at Primrose now for 6 months and are amazed at his progress. Everyday he tells us what he learned and is so excited about it. Their staff is fantastic and we love the fact that their owner is so hands on and connected with what is going on.

The director of the school called me and pressured me to remove my kids from pre-k, because I told her we MIGHT be moving, but still currently live in Woodstock. When I went in the next day, she was very condescending and rude and would not allow them back in the school. I still live in Woodstock today and my children are not in pre-k this year because of this woman even though I had their spot secured. She had the nerve to tell me to "get a job" and put my kids in private pre-k if it was that important to me. My child get's speech therapy with the pre-school intervention program, and he lost that too because he is not in a pre-k program. My mistake was that I was honest and forthcoming about the possibility of our family moving, and she was more concerned about losing funding than the well-being of a child. DO NOT choose this school if you are looking for compassion and have a child with special needs!!

Let me start out saying that I did a lot of research before we settled on a place to bring our 2 year old. The owner and director are both so warm and friendly, and seem very experienced (unlike some other places we visited in the area, where the staff seemed a little overwhelmed and unorganized.) My daughter just finished her first week, and it has been hard to tear her away at the end of the day! She loves her teacher, and seems to be learning and having so much fun. If you are looking for a quality daycare/preschool facility in the Woodstock area, look no further. Primrose is by far the best!

My son was in the infant room. I loved his main teachers but I was concerned with the lack of communication and a meeting was held with the Director and Asst. Director who was instructed to have a meeting with the teacher. After a few days, I found out the meeting with the teacher never took place. On a second occasion, the Asst. Director called me worrying me that my son wasn't eating and it ended up that she called me with incorrect information. This day care also doesn't have a "clean room" policy where you are not allowed to walk around with shoes, which I felt was important with little ones crawling. However the reason I pulled him out was because I was disturbed by the lack of importance they felt about my concerns.
