The customer service is awful. They have missed two appointments and require that you spend the whole day waiting for them (i.e., they don't give you a time period to be available just that they can by any time on a given date). The schedulers take no responsibility for missed appointments, scheduled a day for installation without confirming with us and are generally clueless on where or when an installer might show up at your house.

I've used this company for several of my glass needs over the past several years & they've always went out of their way to do a great job...From what I understand this is a family owned business, (something you don't hardly find anymore), they have a great administrative staff that's willing to may your transaction as easy as possiblne.... this company has been in business since 1978 so they must be doing something correct!!!!!!!!! Give this company an opportunity to repair any glass needs you may have...

I just terminated my business relationship with Better Buy Glass due to the same issues as the previous poster (9-15-2007). They installed a faulty mirror in one of my rental units. Even though I've spent over $19,000 with this company, they saw the need to send one of the technicians out to examine the mirror that I told them was damaged. After forking over $19,000, my word should have been good enough for them to promptly replace the mirror without question. The tech that they sent told my tenant that he would have the mirror replaced two days later, but decided after the fact that the damage wasn't significant enough to warrant replacement. This fact was not relayed to me - the customer that had already paid for the damaged mirror. I called Better Buy Glass today to see why the mirror had not been installed two days ago as promised. The dispatcher said they had no order to replace the mirror in question. When questioned, she claimed she could not get in touch with the tech that had made the promise to my resident. I stated that I needed a new mirror installed TODAY. The dispatcher said that was not possible, that the soonest they could send someone would be the following Monday. As well, when you do encounter a problem, they will do anything in their power to keep you from speaking to the owners. Long story made short, I called back and finally got ahold of an "office manager" and stated that I was taking my business and my money elsewhere. Within an hour, I received a groveling phone call from one of the owners proclaiming their dedication to their customers and what he might do to retain my business. In the end, I've had enough crappy service from companies that do as they please while gleefully cashing the checks that I promptly pay them. Suddenly, the mirror that was impossible to have installed until Monday was magically able to be installed today - at 5:00 p.m.! Go figure. Only when these companies actually see tens of thousands of dollars walking away from them and looking for "greener pastures" will they finally get a clue!

They are a world class glass center. They have been in the business for over 25 years and have the experience necessary to perform any job. I have never had a problem with their call center or the people they have sent to my home. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of service.

My main problem was with their administrative department. They have the most unprofessional call people who are very slow and often clueless. I had to call them numerous times to get what I want. I had two instances where they said that the technician will come a certain day, but he never showed up. When I told them this, they tried to pin the blame on me saying that I had the dates confused. They didn??t even try to check if it was their fault or not. I??m being defensive because multiple people told me the same information on that day, yet they still claimed that I had the dates confused.
Their technician's professional ability was questionable. He broke my glass the first time, but he came back to replace it and had it done properly. At least he was polite with the situation. However, I cannot say the same with their call center.
I highly do not recommend asking for a service from them. They will tell you what day they plan to come but never a time frame, so they will keep you guessing. They also make you pay first, adding more stress onto the payer. Their mission statement on their website should read ??We will perform the service you paid for at our convenience. Not yours.?
