Sally's is frequented by both professional stylists and the general public. They carry beauty products ranging from nail polish to hair dye to shampoo to hairspray. They also carry salon "equipment" like capes, razors, hair dryers, etc.
They carry salon-quality products, such as Paul Mitchell, as well as knock-offs to those products (look for the black and white bottles). Hair dyes come packaged differently than in a drugstore - you purchase the color and the volumizer separately - its great for the adventurous or wanna-be stylists.
Employees are often stylists and can assist you in your purchases.
The inside of the store isn't very nice, but it works.
