Very dissappointed in the Forum shops location.

It looks nice on the surface, but the mens steam room as been out of service for almost 1 year (they claim it is an insurance dispute).

They have also lost several of their best female masseuses in the last year particularly an excellent masseuse named Hong.

Dont know what is going on with this chain, but it is not likely we will purchase another massage packege when we comlplete this series. They are no longer paying attention to details.

I had an opportunity to visit Spa Sydell @ Perminter mall in Atlanta lastt week for a faciall.. Wow how disapointing . Don't get me wrong the faciall was wonderful, with a few exceptions. The young Lady ( Hoy ) was just fab n I kinda felt bad for her because she was trying so hard to make me confortable. The room was terrible.. The paint was comming off the wall , the floor was a little dirty and the equipment was so sparse...the table was so flat , no padding or anything , my back was killing me,it was all I could do to get up off the table... I think that place needs a makeover.. I'll never go back to that one again...

I just used my gift certificate at the Spa Sydell in Alpharetta, it was about to expire and I heard you it is void after 1 year??? Anyway, I called for another esthetician who is no longer there and ended up with Kellye. Thank goodness because, she was amazing! Very friendly and talkative but very calm and relaxing when it came to the service. I actually fell asleep! She did not have any product to sell me because the shelves were empty, but gave me a few outside tips. I felt like she really cared about my skin and just didnt want to sell me something. I'm sure if they had product then she would have tried to get me to buy that, but I didnt get that vibe. Spa desperately needs an overhaul.....kinda dated and blah, nothing special about the facility.

I had a 90 minute Swedish Massage today at Spa Sydell. I have to say it was the worst ever. Rebecca was very nice but I feel she really did not know what she was doing, The massage strokes were basically rubbing cream back and forth. I have had many massages and this was by far the worst. The spa changing area and bathrooms were not very clean today, no toilet paper, no lotion, and I had to go through 3 towels before I found one that was not torn or frayed edges. My robe was frayed and stained with makeup or sun tanner. It was gross. Also, I was told there was a relaxation room, I was looking forward to relaxing in a nice chair and to read, turns out the "relaxation" room is actually the waiting area for your massage. This spa does not have a relaxation room and shouldn't tell people that there is one. I will not be scheduling a service at Spa Sydel again. I would suggest visiting Burke Williams to see the shape that a spa should be in.

I went in for a full body massage and a facial after a very stressful day. It was amazing! I started with the sydell facial which lasted one hour. Tonya was great. She was very thorough and knowledgeable about what she was doing. Not only did I get the best facial I've ever had, but she also massaged my neck, feet, and hands. I have already scheduled an appointment with her for next month. When I didn't think it could get any better, it was time for my massage. I have a lot of tension in my shoulders so I requested a deep tissue massage. It was a little painful at times, but I walked out of there a new person! Monica suggested a mustard bath pack that I bought and used that very night. It obviously worked because the next day I didn't feel a pain! I have had spa services elsewhere but the people here were the nicest of any place I've been. I am very satisfied!!

As soon as I walked in the door I knew I was in for something special. The staff welcomed me warmly and explained that they were having their August Sale (many products and services were discounted). My service was a deep-tissue massage that was heavenly. I totally forgot about everything except the wonderful feeling I was being given. Afterwards the girl at the front desk told me I could also get a pedicure in a few minutes. I decided "why not" and truly enjoyed a fantastic "Sydell Signature Pedicure" that was wonderful as well. I had a terrific experience with people that seemed to really care. I would highly recommend this spa.

My first visit to Spa Sydell did not go as I planned. The massage facial felt good, the massage even better. As I was, the acyllic facial was recommended to me. I paid well over $40 for the cleanser and after two days of using it my face started to scale and peel! I felt like I was shedding skin! I took the cleanser back and got a full refund, but it took well over a month to get my regular skin back! Since then I have never gone in for facials but the massages are great. The Spa Sydell at the Forum is great. It is very tranquil and relaxing

I liked being escorted to put on my robe through the corridors of the dimly light hallways and sitting in the lounge area waiting to be pampered. The staff was attentive, professional and the experience beckons seconds. I received a body wrap and it was to live for. The treatments are pricey but for an occasional indulgence it's worth it.

Average Spa, nice offerings, and pleasant staff. Didn't like waiting in short robe with men. I am not shy at a spa but I do not like having to constantly make sure my robe is not revealing anything.
Spa wasn't dirty but was certaintly not the most clean either. They try hard. I got bikini wax, body scrub, and facial and during the body scrub after being relaxed by great scrub I was escorted to the washroom to shower there and then had to return to the treatment room for moisturizing part of scrub. What is the point? The idea is to relax and not do anything. I probably wouldn't go back.

PROS: Friendly staff
CONS: setup of treatments

When you walk through the door you know that you are in for some serious pampering. The staff at Spa Sydell are dedicated to ensuring that you feel pampered. I would highly recommend a gift certificate as a gift idea for anyone.

PROS: ultimate in pampering

If you're looking for a spa that offers the basics, then this is the one for you. Unfortunately, this place is a retail chain which keeps it from offering outstanding services. I find the massages weak even after asking for more pressure. The environment is very well kept and clean and that counts for a lot. But if you're ok with all that then this should work out for you. If you want a higher quality spa experience then look around town for someplace else.

This is the best spa in Atlanta. Great gift to give to anyone - the Burgundy Envelope. Offer a lot of different services, ranging from facials, to massages, to a day at the spa. Great to go alone or with a friend. Parking is a little tricky, you have to park in the deck adjucent, or on the street. Better to vallet.

I loved this spa. It was extremely clean and classy... definitely leaves you feeling pampered. It comes with a price, of course. I don't think it's insanely expensive, but this is not exactly where I would go on a weekly basis for a facial. This is more of a special occassion type of thing. I loved the facial and the massage and the body scrub... so so so nice. It's right across the street from a really good French restaurant, too.
