Kurama Japanese Steak & Seafood House

I have been going to this restaurant for years.Ever since they have come under new ownership they have improved a lot .The people are a lot more nicer and pleasant they don't chase you out as soon as you are done eating like they used to. They also have different specials everyday so its much more affordable to go eat sushi which i love or drink sake which i also like.The change is so much better !!

The food at this restaurant was beyond words of horrible. The prices are outrages for the food that you receive. The steak tasted like chewy rubber, the chicken was like eating cardboard. That is just a taste of what I am talking about. I thought that they were not opening back up after the fire that happen there months ago. When I went inside there was a stink and appeared not to be completely finished. The manager on Duty acted as if he could care less what we thought or how our food was. I would not go home and feed this food to my dogs to say the least. Word of mouth is what can hurt you!

I have enjoyed every visit to this restaurant. The prices are good and the wait staff is very friendly. They have an exceptional chef there named Bubba. He is very good at entertaining his guests as he cooks. They have a drink bar and a sushi bar. They also have seating for Very large groups or parties if it's needed. Extremely attentive staff.

This is a great Japanese Restaurant. I've been going to it for years. I love the entertainment as the food is cooking on one's table. They make the meal fun and enjoyable. The service is outstanding. You do not sit around wondering when someone is going to offer you some more drink in your glass. Excellent choice!!

I love the food at this establishment! It is the best Japanese food in Augusta. The staff is friendly and attentive. We have a favorite cook and he knows what we want and how we want it prepared. He makes us feel valued. However, I have eaten with other cooks and the food is still really good. The sushi is excellent and the lobster is AWESOME!! The restaurant itself could use some sprucing up, but the food and the staff make up for the appearance of the building. It is just and old location. I recommend this restaurant to everyone that I know! The early bird specials are good too.
