E 48th Street Market Italian

This place has great gourmet sandwiches but what my family loves most is to buy their excellent dough and sauce and make our own delicious pizzas at home.
They also have THE best fresh pasta too.

A family-owned and run business, E. 48th is the best sandwich shop in Dunwoody. They are always so friendly and know many of their customers by names. Not only are there great pictures up on the walls, but the food and service is wonderful. I really like the sandwich with mozzarella and roasted red peppers -- their bed is freshly baked and delicious. The Italian-style pizza is delicious as well, though my favorite dish is the pasta capri. I can't help but get some every time I go!

This place has got it all! Family owned and operated, they always greet you by name when you enter. Everyday they have delicious fresh baked bread, great sandwiches, pizza, and more. They also have a very well stocked assortment of Italian specialties - many imported directly. Whether it's stopping by for a fresh lunch or picking up some specialty food before dinner, E. 48th is the place to go.
