Tijuana Joe's has great Mexican cuisine. Great nachos and great margaritas along with some close friends will always result in good times. They sometimes have live music which is a plus as well.

I am shocked that people are writing good reviews on their food. I thought there food was AWFUL! The margaritas were good and cheap. Maybe if you have enough of these, the food becomes more edible.

My favorite Restaurant in the country! There burritos are to die for and there queso is absolutely incredible! The service isn't unbelievable, but when there is rarely an empty seat, what can you expect?

I am one of those people who enjoys his TexMex and can't stand the commercialization and blandness of the Rio Bravos and El Toros of Atlanta.

Tucked away in East Cobb County some 5 miles from the I-285 Riverside Drive exit, Tijuana Joe's has never disappointed me. With crispy flautas, authentic mole sauce, and fajitas you can smell from outside the door, TJ's has done TexMex well by sticking to the basics.

The bar is simple, and specializes in margaritas and cold beer. The staff is as well-versed in English as they are in Spanish, and will entertain your 10th-grade Espanol with a smile as you stumble through your order, trying to look like a well-traveled bigshot. The food comes with a bit of a wait, but it's only because there are always people packed into the restaraunt and patio area, keeping the wait staff busy at all times. The food makes the wait worthwhile and then some.

PROS: They stick to what they know and do TexMex like no one else in Atlanta
CONS: Waiters are overworked, and parking is extremely limited

This place used to have decent food but last night our food was terrible! The food was tasteless and the cheese was gummy! The chicken was dry and the flour tortillas were charred.....not sure what happened to this place. Maybe that is

Is it the best Mexican in Atlanta? No, but it is a perfect neighborhood restaurant - good food, attentive wait staff, reasonably priced drinks. I LOVE its chicken soup - there's no better bargain in town - the cup is huge, the bowl is difficult to finish. Tell you what? Why DON'T you go to the Taco Bell next door - they seem more your type, a little snotty since they'll tow your car if you park there to go to TJs... Please go visit your own neighborhood restaurants and leave this restaurant to the East Cobb natives..

Pros: Great soup, Wi-Fi; Service

Cons: Yes, sometimes has stale chips

I am picky when it comes to my mexican food (I grew up in New Mexico), so its not surprising when I disagree with others about mexican food. It boggles my mind, however, that people give this place good reviews. The food is bad. Really bad. The chile relleno I had last night was the worst relleno I have ever had. The enchiladas werent much better. They had no flavor. The chips were stale and the salsa tasted like ketchup mixed with water and hot sauce.

At least my beer was cold.

Pros: Atmosphere

Cons: Food

The food here is average, for prices that are to high for the quality in my opinion. They should not be allowed to charge that much for oily, cheese covered (to hid the true flavor) mess that they serve. I doubt that unless dragged there , I will darken their door again, because there are 20-30 places just like it in Atlanta. If you are looking for average, run of the mill, restraunt chain quality food, then go a head and go here, but I won't again.

I love TJs margaritas and Churrasco which is the their tasty rib-eye with a great side of Chimichurri. Haven't found this anywhere esle. It's a must try. The margaritas are also some of the best I've had(and I've had my share and then some..) The staff is cool and the atmosphere is laid back.

This place has the best margaritas in town. I live on another side of town but my girlfriends and I drive here just for those great margaritas and cheese dip.

And they're smart - using the patio in the winter, too, by walling in the sides with clear glass so it still feels like you're on a patio even if it's 40 degrees outside!

A handful of locations outside the perimeter adds south-of-the-border flavor to the 'burbs. Tijuana Joe's sizeable menu features more than just a taste of Mexico. You'll find the basics like nachos, quesadillas, tacos,…
