Never again! Being a military family we move alot and I was told I would be able to cancel my contract when we move. guess what...NOPE now I have a 1,000 bill from them and very rude customer service. KC the manager would never return my calls or take my phone calls. If you are thinking about a membership please choose elsewhere. I will be contacting the BBB regarding this company. It might not affect my wallet but hopefully it will help another person.

My recent experience with Fitness for Women was nothing less than amazing. Currently undergoing new management, they truly strive in customer service and making sure that I felt 100% comfortable. I received 2 free personal training sessions, an appointment to learn the machines, and they actually scheduled an aerobics class. I believe every new member receives these so there is no guessing as to what u need to do when u come in. The staff is extremely friendly and its a fun and exciting atmosphere. I know in the past it wasn't quite like it is now, but I can assure anyone that it is definitely worth making another visit. Thanks all the ladies at the gym, I am re-motivated to reach my goals and feel VERY positive in attaining them!

Be very careful when it comes to signing membership contracts with golds gym. I signed up with the intentions of getting back in shape and to prepare for my annual physical fitness assessment. At the time the contract was signed, I was being paid on commission. The check weren't coming in and bills needed to be paid, so I had to get a second ejob which had me working from 8:00a.m until 10:00p.m and weren't able to make it to the gym. To make a long story short, choosing to put food on the table and a roof over my families head wasn't a valid reason for cancelling my contract.

Careful with the membership! I attempted to cancel on SEVERAL occasions during the trial period and I wan't able to cancel with anyone other than the person I signed up with. Needless to say the 2 weeks was over by the time I was able to get in touch with the right person. They were rude and NOT helpful. I ended up jumping through hoops in order to cancel and in the end paid for 3 months that I never used. The gym equipment was nice, but they didn't have a very large selection. No good elliptical trainers. The aerobic classes were awesome.

PROS: Great aerobic classes
CONS: Bad customer service
