5 Stars: Amazing Meal, Exceptional Service! (by bryankaren)

The waiter we had was exceptionally attentive, and made many outstanding recommendations. The shrimp are succulent, and flavourful... chicken outstanding... seafood fabulous.... and the homemade blackberry cobbler is absolutely a must!

5 Stars: One of my favorites (by keeopps2004)

The food has been good since I started going here over ten years ago. Anything you order--app, salad, burger, entree, dessert--is going to be solid. Kids have no problem eating here either. I wish I still lived in the area so I could go more often than once or twice a year. Give it a try if you haven't.

5 Stars: A Great Place to Eat (by CharlesRomano)

The Brickery is a friendly and great place to eat at a very reasonable rate. You get plenty of good food, cooked the way you like it and the service is super. The owner stops at your table to make sure he meets you and that everything is to your approval. My wife and I have brought guests to the Brickery three times this week and everyone loved the meal. If you are in search of a super place to eat or take out friends, you need to try the Brickery. You will return time and time again. Thank you Bruce Alterman and your staff.

4 Stars: Charming........ (by feality1)

Delicious hobo soup, hot food....we did start to feel that we were in the twighlight zone or the maytag repair man, after being seated and given menus, we were ignored, a waitress, seeing us sit for 15 minutes, apologized that no one was waiting on us, and got our drinks, after still not hearing from our waitress, the same kind waitress, came back and took our order, this was 30 miutes after we were seated. the table behind us started complaining because they too were being ignored. We then received the order quickly by a different waiter, ignored for any type of follow-up or drink refills, and finally a third waitress brought our bill. I think management did not assign the tables correctly to the wait staff.

5 Stars: top notch! (by anyauto)

Go to the Brickery, and you might wonder why their tables are all full. After dinner you won't wonder why any longer: the food is really good, and the service is excellent! The price is reasonable, too! What more could you want? Thanks Bruce and Sally!

5 Stars: Best Burgers (by Peacock)

My fiancee and I are always looking for a good burger. Up until recently, the Vortex has been our favorite restaurant for a tasty burger. But a few months ago, one of my friends told me to go to The Brickery and order the Caesar Burger. It was amazing. The Caesar Burger is topped only with lettuce, cheese, and The Brickery's own creamy parmesan caesar dressing. Something so simple and it tastes so good. My fiancee and I love it and here's a tip: order a side of the caesar dressing as a dipping sauce for the fries or onion rings. we still love the Vortex. But the Caesar Burger is one original burger that The Vortex doesn't have.

5 Stars: tasty little eatery that you have to try! (by mrsF)

so glad my fiance discovered this place and took me there. i have gone multiple times and told new people about it each time. the wait staff is extremely helpful and courteous. the food is fantastic and the variety helps a picky eater find something - or try something new with the fun specials that pop up. they offer tons of discounts online to friends (and on facebook) of the place so you know you're in good hands. it seems like they really care about the customer -- something trendy new places seem to forget...

5 Stars: Um, can we say delicious? (by mlj528)

OK so I had the Caesar burger at The Brickery the other day and it was so good I had to post a review to get others to try this taste of goodness. We're talking I wake up 2 days later craving this burger!

The Brickery is a really cool place in Sandy Springs. It's got a very comfortable feel and vibe; it's the kind of place where "everybody knows your name" which is hard to find anymore in Atlanta. The owners are usually there and know a good portion of the customers which is pretty special. I think they've been around for a long time.

The food is unbelievable too, as I understant, everything is made from scratch - I've had the chicken sandwich as well which is not your average chicken sandwich! I have also had the crab cakes which are 100% lump meat - YUM.

The Brickery is a restaurant you really have to try to understand how good it is. I live in Midtown- I'm telling you, The Brickery is WORTH THE TRIP.

5 Stars: Gotta Love It! (by AnnieB443)

Just found this gem a few months ago and can't get enough. We usually order from the daily specials menu because there are so many things on it that we can't find at other restaurants for the same price...osso bucco, penne w/sausage and tomatoes, steak sandwich... Can't wait to go back again and try something else!

5 Stars: A Restaurant you will want to visit often! (by RhondaSult)

If you have not tried The Brickery you should treat yourself to something special. Try something new to
your tastebuds by ordering and devouring the Cesaer Burger for it is awesome. The fried chicken and brisket is also tasty. The chickenpot pie is like nothing you will ever have anywhere else. Did I mention the homemade peach cobbler? We moved to Sandy Springs in October 2007 and discovered this place and it has become a weekly custom to share fellowship with the employees and regular customers. We went in strangers and came out feeling like we had new friends and dare I say an extended family. We are a long way from our roots and our family and this place has been a blessing.

I saw the negative review below and I am convinced that someone has confused this delighted entainment for your tastebuds and your soul with another place. Excellent food and Excellent people.

5 Stars: Long-Time Neighborhood Fave (by juliealt)

This restaurant has been open since the early 90s and is still going strong. That means they're doing something right (actually they're doing many things right). The Brickery has been part of my life since high school. I've eaten there on many occasions with friends, family, and even on dates with my (now) husband. I can't remember a time that I've gone to The Brickery without seeing someone that I know. Their food is like 'home cooking' to me in all the best ways. I absolutely love the chicken tenders, brisket & kugel, and soups. I'm not a seafood eater, but am told that the crab cakes are top-notch and will never forget how much my grandmother loved the fried shrimp. In this time of mega-chains that cater to the least common denominator with frozen or prepackaged food, it is nice to know that there is a family-run place in the neighborhood where I can go for fresh, homemade food.

5 Stars: Top of My List...Every Time! (by nativeatlantan)

The Brickery makes the top of my list every single time. It's the place I take all of my out-of-town guests, family, etc. I meet friends there for lunch all the time. The place is clean & the service is friendly and personable. Regular customers are greeted by name. Heck, I've even seen the bartender pour a regular's drink before he ordered it. Among my favorites are the beef ribs (only a couple of nights a week), the crab cakes, the phenomenal Caesar burger, and the huge salads. I look forward to reading the folksy emails that include special offers that I get from being on the preferred customer list. Bottom line --- this place consistently exceeds expectations and is worth a visit (or ten).

1 Stars: Terrible (by KSLY)

The Brickery is a terrible place. I would not wish the bad food, dirty restrooms, and inconsiderate employee's on anyone. Despite what the other reviews say, this place will be a waste of your time and therefore your life. It is an all around bad experience. I had the bacon hickory burger and was disgusted. It was smothered in run of the mill, generic hickory bbq sauce. Also, the meat was dry, and the bun soggy. The employee's, despite that it was only four in the afternoon, decided that they should make themselves busy by vacuuming under tables THAT WERE OCCUPIED BY PATRONS!!! Then, I used the restroom, only to find it dirty and grimy with paper towels on the floor, and some kind of liquid by the urinal, that was on the floor. The closest comparison I can think of to it is a restroom at the nasty, no-name gas station that we have all dealt with. And of course, to top it off, they decided to pull the dissapering waitress. We did not see the waitress for the next ten minutes after we had been done for ten minutes anyway. I warn you to avoid this place, because you will be in for an unpleasent surprise if you have seen the great reviews.

1 Stars: Awful (by teejayjay)

The food leaves much to be desired. The green beans were obviously out of a can and the waiter had a hard time recommending items on the menu. My "medium" steak was dry and tasteless. My dining partner also did not like the food. We decided to leave rather than trying alternate dishes - two strikes.
