One of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Unpretentious, great food prepared by Chef Tomas and team and served by the attentive and caring staff. We LOVE the Grouper Oreganato over spinach, Bruschetta, Spinach-Gorgonzola Dip, Smoked Salmon & Potato Fritters, Pumpkin Ravioli and fabulous wine pairings. But the best thing about Pasta Vino is that it feels right!

We always enjoy going to Pasta Vino when we are in town. It feels like coming home again. Everyone is friendly, the food is fabulous and we always have a good time. It is hard to choose our favorites but probably mine is the Eggplant Parmesan and hubby's is the Baked Ziti. We also like the fish which is always fresh and delicious. The only thing that would make Pasta Vino better would be if the staff spoke Italian. Ciao Bella!
This is a terrific Italian restaurant in Peachtree Battle shopping center in the heart of Buckhead. They have fabulous Italian food, the bake ziti is awesome and they are known for there Garlic knots....a must have when dining.
PROS: Terrific services, food excellent
CONS: Small space, expect a wait during peak hours

A charming little neighborhood place, with friendly staff and very good Italian food in the
middle of Buckhead. Small, but good wine list and yummy homemade desserts.
I took my family there for a night out and it really worked well for us.
My Lobster Ravioli was quite good, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
The atmosphere was just right for a family candlelit dinner.
Best red sauce on pasta I've ever had. Chicken Francese is fantastic. Fresh salads (although not as good as they used to be for some reason). Garlic knots are to die for. My family and I have been going there longer than I can remember. My kid's favorite place....they grew up eating there. Eat on the patio when weather is nice. Inside too crowded, noisy and dark. Always busy but never a long wait.
Pros: Great Italian food, good service, great atmosphere if outsid
Cons: Don't know of any.
I actually love Pasta Vino when dining in. It is a cozy place and reminds me of restaurants in Boston where I relocated from.
However, the take out is unreliable. Half of the time the specialty pizzas I order which are listed on their web site are not what I requested. Also, when I request something extra, in a recent case extra sauce on the side, the baked ziti came with no sauce cooked on it and a container of sauce on the side.
i will still patronize Pasta Vino as it is gem in this "chain" restaurant mentality of atlanta. However, I will check my take out containers before leaving the building.
Also, parking is a challenge so I recommend not even attempting to get a close spot and part further our in the lot and walk.
I agree with another reviewers comment about the language issue. No one who cooks speaks engligh and there is often a language barrier with the wait staff.
Lastly, this is a place where suburban moms take their kiddies for dinner. So if you want a more adult dining experience, I recommend you go after 8. Nothing against children, but it can get noisy and distracting while children are allowed to run around as if they are at the park.
Pros: Neighborhood Haunt
Cons: Take Out Service
I really like eating at Pasta Vino. It feels like a family or neighborhood restaurant that understands it's about the food and people not just the pretentious stuff. Their pizza's are so good, I often just order for the kids so that I can 'help them eat it'. I like how all generations feel at home here from the retired to the children. The patio is great in the spring and summer but don't forget how filling the food is during cold winter months. Also, many forget about it for lunch but it's great then too. I recommend Pasta Vino to all my friends. MWms
Pros: food, family atmosphere, parking, value
This little hidden secret is a gem in Buckhead. My wife and I live around the corner and often stroll in for a wonderfully romantic and quaint experience. During the summer the patio is buzzing and it is a great spot for a wine tasting. The pizza is quite possibly the best in town...try the Margherita pizza, for sure. We've literally eaten here over 20 times and always had great service and food. There were a couple of reviews on here that detailed bad experiences-- pay these no mind...pasta vino rules!
I have never been a big fan of Italian food, but Pasta Vino changed my feelings forever. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was very relaxing, and the service was top notch. This restaurant is just as perfect for a getaway meal as it is for date night. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food with great service. Keep up the good work, guys!
Pros: Atmosphere. Service. The food!
We love Pasta Vino! The food is first rate and the atmosphere is genuine, comfortable and relaxed. The last time I was there I was treated to a Goat Cheese Ravioli that was better than anything I ate in Italy this past summer! The menu has enough variety to meet everyone's taste from the kids to the grandparents and enough sophistication to satisfy my gourmet friends. The wines are quite good and the portions are not skimpy. The staff is friendly and have been there for a long time which adds to the feeling of this great neighborhood restaurant.
Pros: Fresh, High Quality Food in Neighborhood Restaurant
Pasta Vino is a bit of a hidden secret in Buckhead. Tucked away in Peachtree Battle shopping center, this little gem is home to the most unique and flavorful pizza in town. Their pasta dishes never dissapoint either. In the summer, the outdoor patio is the perfect place for a romantic wine tasting.
Pros: best pizza in town
Cons: none
My wife and I stroll into Pasta Vino at least once a month for the simple, relaxing atmosphere and great food. Their pizza is unique-- think gorgonzola, fresh basil, pesto, etc. Also, the pizza slices are huge for what you pay. Their dishes are also fantastic- we love the Chicken Franscesca. Good quiet date night spot.
Pros: some of the best pizza in town
I have been here several times and never truly had a good experience. It is true, the staff is not the best. I have been there and had a server not know/speak english well enough to understand our request for a wine list and our wine order. The major problem with this place is mainly it's customers. In nice weather the patio is filled with young Buckhead families. They are loud, rude and distracting. At any given time there are 6-12 children running loose through the patio dining area and walking around on the ledges inches away from your food. So rude! This must be the norm around here (or with these ridiculous "Buckhead" people who think it is acceptable to let their YOUNG children run around unattended). Never once have I seen a server or customer acknowledge the throngs of children allowed to run around. I think the people that frequent it only go because it is a place where they don't have to mind their children. Do not go with young, single friends and do not go on a date. Only go if you have children ages 2-10 and want to ignore them while you eat.
Pros: Outdoor Patio, Good Pizza to Pick-Up
Cons: Rude Customers with Wild Children
This is the worst excuse of an Italian resturant that we have ever been to. First let's discuss the service-this resturant has the most "high-strung" waiters we have ever met. They are impatient, rough, and lack proper customer service etiquette. As a part of 25, we called ahead and expressed certain requests, i.e., patio dining and split checks (no more than 4 ways). When we arrived, we found that a table was all setup for us inside (Strike 1). Once our party was seated, the waiter started to argue with us about splitting checks, then the manager came over and remebered that we had discussed the specifics, fine everyone was in agreement. However, when the actual bill came, it was one check and we were told to "Split it ourselves" (Strike 2). There were people in our party who received cold food, did not recieve thier food at all, did not recieve any drinks, waited 20 minutes for coffee, and did not receive dessert that was ordered at the time food orders were taken (Strike 554). After all this, they had the balllzzz, to tell us that gratuity was not included (as the norm), and we did not add gratuity [having thought it would already been included for such a large party]. Needless to say we will not be eating here again, and it is very unfortunate that we still had to reward such disgusting service!
I have gone to this place since it opened. It has changed for far and far better now.
All dishes became so consistant portion and taste. Bread is also so good.
Not so funcy but this is just right. They added new lightings, table cloth and window treatment .
My wish is selected European beers for food and develop dessert menue.
If you're looking for traditional Italian food done well, look no further. Pasta Vino is as authentic as it gets.
Having been weened on the Italian dishes cooked by my Tuscan grandmother I can truly appreciate Pasta Vino's simple and delicious menu. From the very basic spaghetti and meatballs to chicken francaise, this restaurant offers a variety of delicious items featuring the freshest ingredients. Definitely try their gnocchi with pink sauce. The gnocci are pillows of heaven--they literally melt in your mouth.
Pasta Vino has also recently begun to expand their dessert menu to include a simply an amazingly light ricotta cake, and pistachio cupcakes with marscapone icing (not to be found anywhere else!).
This may all be due to a new owner as well as a new manager who have revamped Pasta Vino's decor and menu. There seems to be much more attention to detail as well as improved customer service which is always a plus.
If you're in the mood for genuine Italian cuisine make the trip to Pasta Vino--you won't be disappointed.
A little slice of true family-style Italian, right here in Peachtree Battle. This place is owned and run by Italians. Some servers seem a little grumpy, but don't all Italian waiters. Don't take anything personal. I always order linguine with red clam sauce(not on the menu), just ask. Do not leave withou ordering the garlic knots. You can't put them down until they are gone. Great for singles, couples, and families with kids. And the prices are right. The food is always fresh and original! And the pizza'a are just perfect!
Pros: Fresh Homemade Italian Cuisine, Patio! Pick-Up Pizza!
Cons: Cash Only!
The only good thing I can say about Pasta Vino was that the garlic knots are wonderful (but they cost extra). The service was rushed and impersonal (it was nowhere near closing time, and there were only a couple other occupied tables). The food was very bland. At least it was relatively cheap, so I didn't waste too much money.
Pros: garlic knots, inexpensive
Cons: bad food, bad service
Don't ask for a wine list. They don't have one. Also, veal piccata is made without capers. Do not venture too deep into the menu. The pizza looked delicious, but unfortunately did not order. We settled for garlic knots which were excellent.
Pros: Good Service, Inexpensive
Cons: No Credit Cards, Family Orientated, Dirty
Light tasty thin crust Pizzas with fresh toppings offered with great Marinated Eggplant, Traditional Pasta dishes and Value-priced Specials.
Pros: Great Light Crust, Fresh Herbs & Cheeses, Offered by the Slice
Cons: No Credit Cards, Service Oh So Spotty, Minimalistic Salad
