Hello everyone, my name is Samantha Hostettler. I am the owner of this business, Champion Karate & Fitness. My students brought these reviews to my attention this evening. They wanted to retaliate and defend my good name and defend a life time worth of work by responding to this but I kindly asked them to let me handle it in a friendly positive manner. I am embarrassed that things such as this have even happened and hope to never have to visit this topic again, ever. Ms. Tara L, which we all know is not your real name and sadly you will not admit who you really are because it is so easy to make a false log in ID that you have only used to attack and slander ME, an individual with whom you don't even know, for the sake of gaining business for Aziz Karate. Sadly like many couples Aziz and I endured a divorce that ended; it caused animosity and division to many of our students some stayed with me and some went with him. Aziz opened his studio directly across the street from mine and naming it ??Aziz Champion Karate?. This divorce started a vendetta that has sadly lasted over 5 years. For the sake of my two daughters and the pain they feel when things like this happen, I am asking you to kindly leave me, my family and (my only means of caring for my children) - Champion Karate alone. My business speaks for its self and through hard work and dedication; my students are some of the best anywhere. I don't need hype or lies to obtain business, my lifetime of hard work and my maternal instinct to work hard to care for my children have seen me through all of these years. I will not apologize for the success of my business because every last ounce of success was earned by myself and my loyal supporters. My faith in god and prayer allows me the peace of mind that even you (or any other Aziz??s Karate followers) cannot hurt me or my family through your harsh hateful lies. I stand strong to my core beliefs and values and feel terribly sorry that you have been negatively influenced and recruited to participate in this sad attack on me. Plain and simple if you want to see for yourself the truth I invite you with open arms to come visit my studio talk to my staff and students, see my diplomas and awards, and then if you choose, make an educated review on my company so that your reviews will be of a benefit for those who read it like this website was intended to do, instead of contributing to an already long and painful experience that has caused me and my two daughters many sleepless nights. Please feel free to call or visit me any time before you fly off the handle and attempt to ruin the lives of people with whom you don't even know through public reviews like these. Help me end this grade school drama once and for all..... Please. I will also be discussing this with Aziz personally and ask him to have the people of Aziz Karate leave us alone because I cant fathom that he is aware of the way you are slandering me. God willing this will be the end of this.
Thank you for your time.

I would not refer anyone to Champion Karate & Fitness. The owner Samantha was extremely rude and does not know her kata and kumite. After moving here from another state, I had already begun training at another dojo. I wanted to keep up my training when I moved here. I researched and was told that this was the place run by a World Champion. I later found out that she misrepresented herself and that it was her ex husband who was the World Champion. Champion Karate is quantity not quality.

**UPDATED**
This is the same game she has been running for years, bad mouthing other dojo's. Anyone ever seen proof she is She is a 6th Dan?, can any of her claims? Her "world champion" title, when and where was it? Do you know how many small karate tournments say " world champion"? Don't believe the hype she creates, everything she has done has been a rip off other's. She has kids teaching her classes, tries to get every last penny you have. Simple fact is, she can spin all the "truth's" she wants. The proof is in the kata and kumite.

I read the other review and I think you are confused by the other Champion Karate in Douglasville that opened causing alot of confusion to the consumer. (it is my understanding that location closed several years back) It was a small facility and the kids were grouped together. My children train at Champion Karate and Fitness that this listing represents and it is by far the largest facility in Douglasville having 3 training floors where they separate the students not only by rank but also by age. I highly recommend this studio, its a great family atmosphere and they have been in Douglasville for 13 years.

Although the staff at this location is great, I feel that they should divide the classes up by age group and belt ranks instead of having all belt ranks in one class. Clearly, the kids learn, but I think it would be more effective if the kids were separated by age group. Some kids learn faster than others and when you see black belts at age 7 or 8 with yellow belts, it could make the kids feel like failures. Overall, the school is nice, but very small. They should expand.
