We visited Georges' for my birthday and had a really good time. The appetizers were really good. The shrimp dishes were really fresh with shrimp caught locally.

Great fresh taste right on the ocean. I really enjoyed the appetizers, shrimp, cheese sticks and onion rings. For lunch I had a simple grilled cheese sandwich and even it was very tasty!

We went to George's while visiting Tybee with my in-laws. We happened to come on a Thursday where you could try lots of different appetizers for reduced prices. The food was very fresh and extremely good.

We never use that word "find" in writing about where we dine. But out on Tybee Island, while visiting Savannah, we did find George's. Small intimate, great entree's, wine list, and service. Chef George Jackson, is just out away from all the hustle and bustle of city restaurant life. All the inside foodies, have been writing about him for years. He also has a location at tony Hilton Head. And while sunning at the Tybee Beach, he has a little outpost/shack, that you can get small gourmet bites, and fabu drinks. Now this is a real find! Non-commerical, and quiet, and wonderful.

The food was exquisite. We went on a recommendation from Gourmet magazine in the December issue and we were certainly not disappointed! It was everything they said and more. Let George Jackson pair the wines. He has a wonderful and unique selection. We'll be back.
